To commemorate the wrinkled orange assuming office today, I'm going to write gay porn. Do I already have something in my drafts? yes. Am I going to make it even filthier? Hell yes, I am.
oh wow... i don't know why that hadn't clicked for me while watching the episode... fucking hell
what do you mean simon had to hold maddie's dying body
minor spoilers for s2 ep7 regarding Mr. M and Janet
Was not expecting Mr. Martin being Janet's key to be canon đ In the long fic I'm currently outlining, I had come up with my own timeline of events (a mix of canon and hcs) in which I wrote that Janet was holding onto Mr. Martin when she/they died... am I psychic or what? jkjk
I'm a little worried about what's going to happen in the last episode/when the truth of what actually happened in the fire is revealed.
Also, I really want to write this long fic but school is swamping me đ
REAL! Look, I love Wally just as much as the other guy... okay, maybe not as much lol. He's such a cool and supportive guy but when I search School Spirits on Tumblr, all I get are posts about Wally (and Milo), Wally x Reader fics, smut, headcanons, etc. I want to see the same effort be made to other characters and relationships pls đ
(also doesn't help that I'm not as attracted to Wally the way I am to other characters *cough* Simon and Yuri *cough*)
Wally: Charley, what do IDK, LY, and TTYL mean?
Charley: I donât know, love you, talk to you later
Wally: Ok, I love you too, Iâll just ask Rhonda.
ok chat this is the last one for today ok
no bc this is exactly how I feel reading y'all's posts about anything School Spirits/Savier related. It's like a ping-pong game and I'm watching the ball fly through at incredible speeds as we bounce ideas off of each other or make content lol
FYI this is me replying to oomfs on tumblr
you read my mind. YES. exactly this
god, i love the contrast we got between Martin and Anderson in the show; their roles as teachers, their messy antagonistic roles throughout the seasons, and just the way Mr. Martin could've done things differently... but he did what he did and fucked up astronomically bad. Then he gets called out by someone of equal authority! Which is AMAZING.
Obviously, the ghost kids can tell him all the ways he messed up by betraying them, using them for experiments, etc. but the real dig at him can only be done by someone who's gone through rough shit like him and is still able to say that he would've never done what he did to his students. To hear his actions be said by a voice of authority and maturity.
Honestly, I would've enjoyed seeing more interactions between the two. Stick 'em in a room with comfy couches, snacks, and drinks, and let them just talk shit out (maybe definitely let Anderson rock Martin's shit). They both need someone to talk to and an ear that listens. plus, Martin could've finally interacted with someone his age rather than depend on his 15 y/o student for the last sixty years or so.
i have so much respect for mr. anderson. i absolutely love his character
thereâs so much focus in media on all the ways a teacher can be bad. in the reveal of an authority figure being untrustworthy. in someone taking advantage of the power dynamic between a teacher and student
and i get that it can make for a really interesting storyline- obviously because itâs worked so well with mr. martin- but mr. anderson is such a nice change
especially in season 2, he is such a great example of all the ways a teacher can be good. teachers are some of the most important people in a kidâs life. they can have some of the biggest impacts- for worse, sure, but also for better.
mr. anderson became a teacher for all the right reasons. he cares about his students. we see it in a more personal way with maddie, but itâs even evident in the way he interacts with these ghost kids he just met.
we all know mr. martin was in the wrong, that he is the bad guy in this. we know it, and the students know it. but itâs different- for the students especially- hearing someone say it? hearing an adult say it?
you can hear it in in mr. andersonâs voice- what mr. martin did, hurting his students like he did, it would never cross mr. andersonâs mind. and his first instinct is to protect the kids, to tell mr. martin just how ashamed he should be
idk itâs just so refreshing to see an authority figure who really is good. who really does care and isnât afraid to call a bad teacher out. even when kids are in high school- theyâre still kids. they still rely on adults to keep them safe
Still writing the fair fanfic but have this in the meantime. Prompted by @cloudedhologram's post where we + @simonssweater came up with Xavier "winning" the bear for Simon at a county fair. The meme format was too funny to pass up I just had to do it.
Mr. Anderson has become my favorite adult on the show. And now he's joined the ghost gang?? OH. SIGN ME UP.
Also, his muffled and frustrated "what the fuck!" is gonna play in my mind on a loop for all eternity. He's just a silly little guy. I'm gonna put him in my pocket.
Oh, he embezzled marching band uniform funds? Umm, nuh-uh. Your Honor, he was in a silly goofy mood to pay off his father's mistakes. I, uh, rest my case :P
i'm such a sucker for cuddling of any kind. like they just need to be together and I can't đ
they eepy
actually, wait. I just thought of a cute idea based off of my own comment on the original post.
The two of them go to the annual fair and Xavier tries to get the biggest bear for Simon but loses miserably. So Simon, not wanting to make him feel bad, plays for it and wins it (I mean, have you seen his arms this latest episode??). He plays it off as Xavier winning it for him but makes him carry it around bc Si doesn't want to lug it for the rest of the night.
They split custody of the bear and even drive it around sometimes when they have to do the custody exchange.
brb I gotta go write this as a fic now
Xavier the type of guy to ask Simon to be his Valentine (and be nervous about it) after theyâve been dating five years.
Simon thought it was dumb the first time he asked, he quickly realized how sweet it was.
