I hope this is okay to ask for advice here :). I can’t seem to find a lot products (minus stuff like: shirts, funko, black series etc), pictures, Fanfictions, etc lol with Omega; hardly ANYTHING with Omega & Crosshair; but NOTHING at all with Omega & Grogu together!
My favorite characters of all time are Omega & Grogu in ANY fandom! I have this weird obsession with Omega & Crosshair as my favorite sibling duo in TBB. I have a fanfiction character with the name Crossa in it (stupid lol). I FEEL Cross & Omega have a very strong bond (shown in S1E1) & ALWAYS been my prayer that they will be reunited (which I believe even more now!). I’m still so incredibly terrified what will happen to her, but he WILL save her! Hunter is her FATHER, but Cross is meant to be her protector too! Wish I could find “Crossa” or her & Grogu ANYTHING!
Just exactly what I needed as these are my favorite characters and pairing!
(I kinda wrote this for @groguandthebadbatch after they reblogged my other fic so I was like "Fuck sleep" and quickly wrote this down, hope it doesn't have typos anymore. Have fun!)
"You're always so grumpy."
Crosshair didn't answer. He pretended to sleep. He didn't really know what to say, but Omega knew he wasn't sleeping. How could he? They were both kept awake by their thoughts. They were similar in ways he didn't even wanted to understand really.
"It's like you're hiding something", continued Omega.
Crosshair hesitated. "Like what?", he finally asked, not really out of curiosity, but to lead the conversation to an end.
"Not... a secret. More like... a feeling." She thought for some moments. "Hunter gets grumpy when he can't figure out something. Tech does too. But mostly it goes away when I talk to them."
"Is that why you talk and not sleep."
"Maybe?"
"We got a long day tomorrow. I won't carry you."
"I can walk."
Crosshair turned his head. Omega layed on the other side of the fire, hands crossed behind her head, looking up to the stars. A slight smile covered her face. It's something she almost always does. Smiling.
Crosshair chuckled. "I'd sure like to see how you see the world. Must be interesting."
He was sarcastic, but she didn't care. "It's nice", she says. "The world, I mean. All the planets and people and colours... there is just so much out there."
"There is a lot of bad stuff", Crosshair said after a pause.
Omega paused to. "Echo says we have to think about the good things", she finally said.
"You really do rely on what they say huh."
"Don't you miss them?"
"Hm?"
"If you miss them."
Crosshair looked back at her. She stared at him too. She didn't smile anymore, her face was more concerned. Full of pity. He didn't like that she pitied him, so maybe purely out of stubborness, he said: "No."
"I would miss them terribly if I knew I could never go back to them. And I've just been with them for a few months. You've been their brother for years." She paused and sat up. "I can't believe you."
He tried not to look at her. He didn't wanted to blurt out his feeling infront of this young thing who were with his brothers now instead of him. But she had something on her that grew the strong urge in him to do exactly that: Tell her the truth.
Because the truth was a yes. Of course he missed them. But they made a choice he could not agree on. And they took her with them instead of him.
He should be angry at her for replacing him. His eyes turned back to her. He tried to find a single bit of something bad in her, something he could truly hate without it feeling like he betrayed himself. But all he could find was two caring eyes in the same colours as his were, and a smile that made him feel like an idiot.
Because he was. Osik. He turned his face to the stars again and closed his eyes.
How should he find something to hate in her at the exact same time he was trying to bring her back to Hunter? What did he try to proof to himself. He knew what Hunter saw in her, what he tries to protect so desperately. But Crosshair could not do that. He already bet all his coins, everything he had, on the wrong side.
The wrong side? Is that really what I am thinking now?
He opened his eyes again, just to stare directly in his sisters face.
He would have banged his head on hers if she would not have been quick and stepped away when he sat up. The words to yell at her for startling him got stuck in his throat somehow. For some moments, they just stared each other, face to face, waiting for the other one to do something.
"Fear?", Omega finally said. "Is it that? Are you afraid of something?"
"Your steps are damn quiet."
"Just like yours." She smiled in an odd way Crosshair couldn't really interpret. Like she did learn something new. Thankful, somehow.
"I'm not afraid of anything. Go to sleep. I ain't singing you a lullaby."
"You know what I am often afraid of? To be alone."
She didn't speak out the "Are you too?" but it stood between them like she did. They just stared at each other, eye to eye, waiting again.
Then her eyes suddenly got real tired. She started to look around like she waited for something. Crosshair sighed.
"What."
"I'm cold. I can't sleep."
"I already made a fire."
"It's still cold. Like, on the side where isn't a fire."
Crosshair fought the urge to sigh again. He pointed with his chin on his backpack. "There is a blanket in there."
Cheerfully but still tired, Omega kinda jumped to the backpack and opened it. "Where?"
"Under all the other stuff."
"Woah, is that a knife? Can I use that?"
"What? No! I -" Crosshair sighed again and got up. "Don't touch the knife. The blanket is under everything. Hold on, step back. Here, hold this." She gave her a bunch of things to hold and she smiled again. He pulled out a blanket. "Here. Put the stuff back."
She grabbed the blanket and went back to the place where she slept, laying down and snuggling in. He went back to his place too.
After he layed down and watched her some moments he asked: "Better?"
She just mumbled something into the blanket, already half asleep. Crosshair figured she was fine so he stared up at the stars again.
But after a while, Crosshair heard her voice again. She mumbled something he didn't understood so he didn't react, but she didn't give up and said it louder.
"Crosshair?"
It was odd how she said his name. But in a way that was okay with him.
"What is it?"
Silence. A thoughtful moment.
"Nothing", she finally said, closing her eyes again.
But Crosshair turned his head back to her. He knew what she wanted to say. And he kinda was glad she didn't say it because he knew he would not have known how to react, that's why she might not have said it.
But he knew. Omega loved him. After all he did, even though she doesn't even knew him that good, she still does. And he had no idea what to do with that knowledge.
I absolutely LOVE this so very much!!! I love Crosshair and Omega Fanfictions because there’s something about these two beloved characters to me! I love their dynamic and how much Omega loves him without caring about herself.
She’s so selfless and Crosshair needs her and that kind of undying love and kindness towards him especially from his little loving sister!
A/N: Okay, so this is an exert from my CrosshairxOC fanfiction I'm working on. The story itself is set after the events of the season finale, so I make happen whatever I want to happen. So here: I give you part of this chapter. Quick background: Crosshair was taken back by the Empire, but they found no use for him and were going to end him. The Batch turned around and came back for him, rescuing him from the Empire and ACTUALLY removing the chip. That's where this chapter picks up. I went for a dramatic feel. Hope I accomplished that. ^^'
Also, if you want to be tagged whenever I post the rest of the story, just let me know!

Warnings: None; lotta pain and regret, but a happy ending, I promise.
Word count: 846 (really short)
It hurt.
Everything hurt.
His head was pounding, his muscles burned. His legs ached as if he had been running mile after mile. His lungs begged for air, but every breath was excruciatingly painful. Every fiber of his being was screaming out in agony. And yet, for the first time in Lord knows how long, there was one ache missing. One tiny-but-sharp pain missing from the side of his head.
Instinctively, ignoring the pulsing burn that traveled up his arm, his hand found its way to his head. He braced himself as his fingers brushed that familiar spot, waiting for the tormented thought to rush through his mind. Good soldiers follow orders.
A bandage?
No skull-splitting headache ensued. Instead, he found himself pressing his palm to a small, soft bandage plastered onto his skull. The only voice in his mind was his own. There was no one else, telling him to obey orders, to follow the Empire, to hurt his brothers.
A groan escaped his lips. He forced his eyes to open, but immediately regretted it when a bright light flooded his vision. He hissed in a breath.
“Crosshair?”
He tried again, slower. He was greeted by the face of a young, golden-haired child. Her brown eyes were filled with worry. Concern. Were those tears? Why did she look so scared?
“Crosshair! Can you hear me?”
“Omega?” Yes, that was her name. Omega.
Her eyes lit up. A smile spread across her face. “Crosshair! You’re okay!”
A chorus of voices that he couldn’t make out surrounded him. Pats to his aching shoulders, a set of hands helping him to a sitting position, all touches he could feel but not fully comprehend. He was disoriented, displaced. Until that child climbed up in front of him and threw her arms around his neck. Suddenly, his floating mind grounded itself in this girl’s hug. Everything came into focus and he could finally make out four faces he knew, oh, so well.
“How do you feel, Cross?” Hunter. He placed his hand on Crosshair’s shoulder.
Crosshair grunted in response. He felt again. That was enough. Even if it was pain he was feeling, it was still better than nothing.
“How’s your head?” Omega’s small voice was pleading. Gingerly, she reached up to touch the bandage, but he grabbed her wrist before she could. Her small body tensed and her eyes grew wide as his action. She stared at him until he loosened his grip. He let go of her hand entirely and his gaze blankly fell to the metal surface he was sitting on.
“You came back for me…” His voice trailed off. Even to himself, he sounded weak and pathetic.
“We did, Cross. We weren’t going to leave you, not again.” Hunter squeezed his shoulder. “I’m sorry we didn’t come back sooner. We should’ve—”
“No, no you shouldn’t’ve.” The sniper kept his eyes locked on absolutely nothing. He knew that one look at his brother’s face and he would crack to pieces. “The Empire… They would’ve…” He squeezed his eyes shut. Images of his rifle sights set on Hunter crowded his mind. “I would’ve… killed…”
“Crosshair, look at me,” Omega spoke with all the force of a commanding officer. She cupped his rough face in her soft, delicate hands and gently tugged him until he looked into her eyes. “It wasn’t you. You didn’t do any of that. It was the chip.”
“But… But I…”
“It wasn’t you, Crosshair.” Omega smiled at him, those eyes lighting up like a thousand stars. “We missed you.” Before he could protest, she hugged his flaming torso and buried herself in his chest. She gave him a light squeeze, being mindful of his many bruises.
He stared down at her in wide-eyed shock. She felt so warm, so alive. She was willing to hug him, to… to love him, even after everything he had done. What did he do to deserve that kind of undying loyalty? Absolutely nothing. He had tried to hurt his brothers, to force them to join the Empire. And yet, here was this little girl, clinging to him, as if she never wanted him to leave again.
“We did miss you, Cross,” Hunter spoke, his smoky voice low and sorrowful. “We’re sorry.” He joined Omega, wrapping his arms around Crosshair’s shoulders and Omega’s back. “I’m sorry.”
One by one, Echo, Wrecker and Tech fell in and pulled their long-lost brother into a warm embrace. Crosshair could do nothing but sit there, fighting every emotion that came welling up inside him. He was a soldier. He couldn’t give into this… He couldn’t allow emotion to…
He broke. The tears he tried to ward off came flowing out, and he hugged Omega tightly to himself. He cried into her shoulder, his own shaking with each sob, and his brothers held him closer. “We love you, Crosshair,” Omega whispered as she stroked his head.
Finally, he was back where he belonged, with his squad. He was with his family. And nothing, absolutely NOTHING was ever going to tear him from them again.
I have a weird obsession with Omega & Crosshair (fave sibling duo in TBB). I FEEL Cross & Omega have a VERY strong bond (First shown in S1E1). He just doesn’t know it YET lol! ALWAYS been my prayer that they will be reunited & I think he will WANT to protect her from his love for her!
I’m still TERRIFIED what will happen to her! Hunter is her FATHER, BUT Cross is also meant to be her protector!
I AM LEARNING HAWAIIAN TOO (day 466 or 467 straight on DUOLINGO lol)…. It’s number one on my bucket list BUT alas I doubt I will due to my military injuries and chronic illnesses lol. BUT THIS IS AMAZING never ever thought I would EVER FIND ANYTHING LIKE THIS!!!!!

They had been warned that this could happen. Obi-Wan had told them that having been trapped in that Hell of a house all her life, Omega hadn't had the chance to be exposed to all those childhood germs other kids did, leaving her more susceptible to them now. And a month after starting school, it finally happened.
Omega had woken up on Monday morning with the worst cold Crosshair had ever witnessed. Coughs had racked her shivering body that was half delirious with fever.
The boys had preciously decided on a rota to take care of Omega on sick days, and on Friday it was finally Crosshair's turn.
Thankfully her fever had broken by now but she was still bunged up with snot, so Hunter had decided to keep her off the rest of the week, hoping that she would be fighting fit by Monday.
So all Crosshair had to do was keep an eye on her.
Which was kind of the problem.
He had managed to get over most of his ill placed jealously after his talk with Hunter, but unfortunately Crosshair was well aware that trauma didn't disappear that easily.
There was no denying that any of them were Jango's offspring, with his apparent super spreader genes. But where the rest of their siblings were all blunt corners, he and Omega were sharp edges with their pointed features and lighter hair that was unmistakably the mark of Nala Se.
And Crosshair hated it. He hated it so much he once smashed the mirror in the bathroom which Ninety-Nine never replaced. He could deal with his own appearance. Shaving his hair till it went grey and getting a tattoo across his face helped.
But then Omega came into their lives. And whilst Crosshair would be eternally grateful that she never had to step foot in their sorry excuse for a mother's home again, sometimes just being around her hurt.
To see that same face that tortured him his whole life in the innocent one of a little girl felt like a cruel joke that the universe was playing to specifically spite him.
He had resorted to avoiding her which wasn't easy in a small house packed with six people. However he figured it was the better option than accidently snapping at her with something he knew that he would immediately regret. He was pretty sure Hunter at least had noticed although his older brother hadn't mentioned anything about it, yet. He knew it was something he'd have to confront eventually.
He just didn't think that day would be today.
Crosshair sat on the sofa, whilst Omega was bundled up on the other, Gonky curled up on one side of her and a stack of tissue boxes on the other, as she watched TV. Having missed out on the past decade of pop culture, Hunter was trying to rectify that, starting with the Disney classics after Omega had asked what a Disney Princess was when one of her classmates had made fun of her for not knowing. They were currently up to Lilo and Stitch. Whilst Crosshair was much more of a Ghibli fan, he didn't mind the colourful cartoon musicals, not that he would ever admit it.
He kept one eye on Omega whilst scrolling through his phone. Replying to the texts Hunter sent about every five minutes reassuring him that yes their sister was indeed still alive and ignoring the messages from his asshole of a boss Rampart who was still giving him shit about taking a day off even though Aayla had offered to cover some of his sessions for him.
The movie had barely finished playing when Omega burst into tears.
Shit, Crosshair thought, rushing over to the girl.
"Are you hurt? What's wrong?" He asked. Hunter was going to kill him if anything happened to her on his watch.
"Sh-She... she's just like me!" Omega managed choke through her sobs.
"What do you mean?" He asked, not understanding where this conversation was going.
Omega pointed at the screen where the characters were currently visiting a montage of Elvis exhibits as the credits rolled.
"Lilo! She's Polynesian! She is raised by her siblings! She's just like me!"
That was when Crosshair realised she wasn't crying because she was hurt. Happiness might not be the correct to describe word it either. It was hard to put into words the freeing ideal of being known.
And God had Crosshair realised just how badly he'd fucked up.
Growing up, if he'd seen a movie like that with someone like him in it. Maybe he would've been able to recognise himself in someone else instead of feeling isolated in a body that nobody else could understand.
He hadn't even realised he'd pulled Omega into a hug until Gonky tried to jump between them to get in on the action.
Omega's sobs subsided into giggles as Gonky's tongue locked away her tears, tickling her face.
"Let her go you big lump." Crosshair told the husky, nudging him back to the girl's side. Since he was now over here anyway, Crosshair figured he might as well stay and settled into Omega's over side. He picked up the nearby remote.
"It might be garbage, a lot of the Disney sequels are but they made a second film if you want to watch that?"
Omega nodded eagerly, curling against his shoulder, as though it was the most natural thing in the world, even though it was the first time she had ever done it before.
To distract himself from getting teary eyed as well, Crosshair pressed play.
Gah this broke my heart because it’s more than likely true :/. Poor Omega wish she wasn’t dealt the shittest deal (I mean the kid was basically a test subject and then stripped from her brothers then never allowed to leave, etc etc).
I just had a heartbreaking thought involving Omega as a child, so now you all have to hear about it.
Bear with me for a minute, because it involves some psychology. Psychologically speaking, a child’s first memory often depends on the values of the society they are raised in. A society that prioritizes familial values often has children have a first memory involving family, such as the birth of a younger sibling.
There’s no doubt that despite the many different stories under the umbrella that is Star Wars, a primary focus of all of them is family and the importance of the ones you love.
So what if little Omega’s first memory is of her brothers?
What if little Omega is brought into Nala Se’s lab and sees four babies, one with a head full of dark curls, one double the size of the other babies with layers of baby fat, one twitching his fingers as if he’s itching to hold something, and one with his hands scrunched up over his eyes and her brain goes, “Yes, these are my brothers, this is my family. I will remember them forever.”
And she does. For years, she remembers those little babies even as they grow into cadets and soldiers, even as she is hidden away from them. She spends years searching for her brothers because despite all that time apart, she knows that they are her family.
And then finally, after all those years, Omega catches a glimpse of a man with long dark hair, and she knows she’s found her family.
Love ANYTHING Crosshair and Omega but unfortunately there isn’t much for them :(. Don’t know why but them as brother and sister and how she fights for him and loves him unconditionally!
"I don't know what you see in her."
Crosshair looks at the now sleeping Omega, curled under the blanket Hunter gave her, peacefully just breathing in and out. A feeling of warmth grows in Hunter, and he's tempted to smile, but he doesn't.
"Have you never felt the urge to protect someone?"
"I've felt the urge to protect you", said Crosshair, bitter, staring at his brother, curious for his reaction.
Hunter stares back. Does he really think I don't love him anymore? Words flood his head, words he prepared and thought of in endless sleepless nights on their ship, thinking about Crosshair, about Omega, about their future. Hunter never wanted Crosshair to leave. Just how can he convince him to see it through his eyes?
"Crosshair", began Hunter. "There is nothing I wouldn't do in order to protect you. But there is not just you around. I have to think for everyone."
"And you choose to do the most dangerous thing for all of you. To leave Camino and to disobey the order. You're all just prey now." Crosshair take a step in Hunters direction, now just inches away from his brothers face, but Hunter doesn't step back. "If you really wanted to protect everyone, you would have stayed, and not made you criminals."
"They were after Omega, Crosshair. They brainwashed us. When the chip influenced Wrecker, he almost killed us. How can you obey a system that just wants to control everyone?" He stops. Another thought comes into his mind. "If you would have come with us, you would know what I mean."
"I highly doubt that."
"What is life for you, Crosshair? Is it just being a soldier? Is it just obedience and betting on the faster horse?"
Crosshair lowers his eyes. Pain is all over his face. Hunter can see it.
"You were my life", Crosshair whispered.
Hunter relaxes. This is the Crosshair he knows. He knows he's brother since they were children. Crosshair always was the tough, the cold one, but deep inside, Hunter knows that he carries a heavy burden. He need safety and stability and control more than every other soldier from his squad. Change is not for him, he's sensitive in a different way than Tech is, but he is sensitive to it.
Hunter was anxious about him from the point order 66 happened. Things changed, and Hunter knew that they had to change with them. But the decision to separate the two things in their life that were especially Crosshairs safe spot; the army and the squad - Hunter knew that would have consequences. He knew Crosshair would be a nervous wreck, that he would be rude and aggressive and hard to control because that's how nervosity shows in Crosshair.
But never would Hunter have thought that between those to things, the army and the squad, Crosshair would not choose the squad. He stayed with the army. The new army, the imperial army.
"If you would have come with us", Hunter says, "I would have done everything in my power to make sure you're okay, Crosshair. Because that's my job." He sighs. "But I can not help you if you keep running away."
"On Omega." Hunter steps forward and moves the blanket so it covers her entirely. She sighs cutely in her sleep. He finally smiles, but just shortly. "You know, Crosshair, I didn't replace you with her, even if it might feel like it."
"Then what. You didn't even knew her."
"She needed protection. So I took her with us. And I would have done the same with you, if you would have chosen to stay." He looks down on her. "She's full of love, you know? So thankful for every single little thing. And I think she showed me what life really is about, Crosshair." He looks up to make sure his brother looks him in the eyes.
"Love. Not the army. It's about the people you love, Crosshair. It's about protecting what you have. And if you love your ideals more than you loved us, than I'm okay with that. Then go and keep hunting us and obeying whatever the Empire wants you to do."
In a last attempt of getting close to his brother and fighting the urge to just pull him into his arms, Hunter lays a hand on Crosshairs shoulder. "But if you think that you can love us and even our sister, who loves you so unconditionally even though you can't do that back, then, please Crosshair, come back to us. I don't think there is even just one bit of something evil in your heart. I think it's just fear."
Crosshairs eyes search the ground. He can't look at Hunters face no more. And as his brother picks up the little blonde girl who shares his blood and sleeps so peacefully in his arms and slowly walks away, he doesn't even think of going after them or aiming his weapon at them, as he should do at this point.
Love?
And as Hunters words haunts his mind, another thought follows the odd one worded question.
What am I more afraid of? That the things will change in an inevitable way or that I will die alone?
And suddenly it comes to his mind that he would never be able to raise his weapon and shoot his brother. Not Hunter, not anyone else. Did he forget the relieve he felt when he knew that his mission was just to hunt Hunter down, not kill him?
What would he have done if his mission would have been exactly that?
Crosshair knows that he's standing somewhere dangerously in between the love for his brothers and his obedience to the army. He tries to balance the two things that his life was about and he will eventually fall into the abyss between both of it if he does not choose a side. And oh, he did not do that yet. He thought he did, he thought he chose the Empire, because Hunter choose Omega. But he didn't. Both if them didn't. Because for Hunter, Crosshair is now sure, this is not what it is about.
