“HOLD THAT THOUGHT. This is important territory.” Lizzie turned around raising an eyebrow at her company. In her hands she was holding two shirt options to wear for the Friday night. Feeling out of control mentally and with her magic getting worse, at least the one thing she could control in this world was her outfit. It was a welcomed distraction. “Which one, the blue or the red? I think the blue really makes my eyes pop, but the red goes spectacularly with the heels I’m planning to wear.”

He was being tortured and he didn’t even know what he could have done to deserve that. August released a long suffering sigh before focusing on the girl and the clothes she was holding. ❝ If I pick one will you release me from this nightmare? ❞ He questioned dramatically. Truth be told, he was less bothered by the whole thing than he was showing. ❝ Red. Can never go wrong with red. ❞

Elijah was seated in his library, one leg crossed over the other as he flipped a yellowing page in the book he was reading. One elbow was propped on the arm of the chair, his index finger gently pressed to his upper lip. The Original turned his head when he heard a knock at the door, waiting a beat, wondering if someone else would answer it. When the knock came again he sighed and closed his book, standing and walking over to it. He opened it, “Can I help you?”

“What? Can’t a nephew stop by to visit his beloved uncle?” He questioned in place of an answer, a cheeky grin on his features. “But okay, I was actually wondering if you had any family grimoires laying around that I could borrow. You know, for research and general betterment.”

Nic had came to mystic grill for only one reason. He needed some food in his stomach. He was glad to not be working for once. He was tired of dealing with drunks. He did love his jobs most of the time. But lately people were annoying him. He did not mind the flirting with costumers . But sometimes it was just to much. He looked over at the person. “I am just here for food. Not work.”

The unprompted explanation had the younger male raising a solitary eyebrow and a smirk appearing on his lips. ❝ Good for you, ❞ he commented easily. ❝ Are you at least going to invite me to join you? ❞ He questioned mirthfully. ❝ The lack of manners is outrageous. ❞

Ever since Fiona’s vampire gene was first triggered, she hasn’t been able to control her vampirism around blood. No matter how hard she tried, she always turned into her own worst enemy around blood, her sharp fangs forming at the slightest scent of blood. As she tried her best to control herself before she caused a scene in the town square, she held onto her forehead to try and get rid of the incoming headache that had come along with it. “I’m fine.” She reassured the first person that had offered their help, not wanting anyone else’s help with something she knew she had to learn how to do herself. “Can you just give me some space please?” She asked as she could slowly feel herself losing her humanity. @newbornfallsstarter
As soon as green hues focused on the red head, August knew there was something wrong with his cousin. A frown appeared as the young man made his way to the other. ❝ I’m having a hard time believing that one, ❞ he quipped at the blatant lie. He did take a couple steps back, arms raised in mock surrender, but still stayed close enough to talk to the girl. ❝ What’s wrong. ❞

“Oh no way am I taking that bet because she 100% will be throwing her drink in his face.” Skylar laughed, “Watch… Give it 10 seconds.”
Laughter erupted at his cousin’s words, August couldn’t even be too disappointed. ❝ I kind of want to know what the hell the idiot did. A little background on our characters, ❞ he joked.
You think I can’t? Watch me.

“And why would I bet on that? If anything she would slap him and just walk out.” She spoke as she used her vampire hearing to listen into the conversation and could hear it in the girls voice that she was getting upset.
❝ The word fun comes to mind, ❞ he replied mirthfully. ❝ And you can always put your money in that, if you’d prefer, ❞ he added and smirked. ❝ But you can use privileged information, no eavesdropping. ❞ He couldn’t be sure the woman was doing that, but it was always a safe bet with super-hearing.

Harmony didn’t make it a habit to serve minors - for obvious reasons - but, well. It was her brother, and their father’s bar. That was an exception she was willing to make, and as it was, his commentary was better than the conversation she’d be getting on the other end of the bar. She leaned against the counter, letting her eyes wander into the direction of his words, “yeah, I’ll take that action.” She agreed with an easy grin, taking in just how heated the conversation seemed to be turning. “Maybe she’ll even throw in a slap if he says something douchey enough.”
His sister’s reply only made the teen’s smirk grow larger, blue eyes shinning with unbridled mischief. There was a reason why he constantly found himself bothering his sister at Rousseu’s when he had nothing better to do; Harmony always made for good company. ❝ Now, you just made me want it to happen, H, ❞ he complained playfully. And maybe he could get to what he wanted as now the woman was getting up. ❝ But first go for the glass, ❞ he said, even if the stranger couldn’t hear him. He wanted that money.

“Yeah… I’m not taking that bet.” Elena looked toward the underaged boy about the couple as it wasn’t something she would bet on, but she couldn’t be mad about him drinking because she did it herself and it wasn’t her child.
❝ Come on — nothing wrong in a little fun, ❞ he smirked. ❝ I’m sure you’ve got a twenty there just waiting to come to my pocket. ❞

Cocking her head to the side, Alaska chugged back the rest of her drink before looking toward the couple, “I’d put fifty bucks on that she would. Guy looks like a fuckin’ idiot.”
August’s attention peaked at the words, always a pleasure to see someone willing to join in his games. ❝ We can’t both win, what would be the fun in that? — I must agree, though, dude’s an idiot. ❞
