Snape literally sexually assaulted him, and it even classified as sexual torture, look up the definition for that one. Bullied him, and literally for no reason, which is stated.
He even basically tried to murder him, he could've easily killed him with the prank.
But sure, James is no abuser at ALL! He's the most innocent guy out there, perfect.
Every time someone calls james Potter an 'abuser' to Snape I lose more faith in humanity
I don't ship Harrymort or tomarry, I just don't really like proships, but if that's your tea, go for it.
What I would like to see more of though is Voldemort realizing Harry's a horcrux so he's just like "Guess I'm a dad now??" And just like, adopts him?
Bonus points if it's around the age of six or seven
SUPER bonus points if there's hurt/comfort w/ happy ending.
Super duper bonus points if Voldy loses his mind against the Dursleys.
Harry: do you have a toe fast?
Harry: row fat
Harry: row cat
Harry: town cast? Town. Tow?
Harry: Toe
Severus, deeply concerned and exhasperated: Do I need to call an ambulance? Did you hit your head today?
Tw brief mentions of sexual assault.
It makes me mad that Skip Westcott isn't in the movies. Male victims have almost no representation, and the ones we do have are just jokes or not even recognized as assault. He doesn't infantalize victims, he shows it can happen to you and still be normal, which would have been amazing. It's definitely something a lot of kids out there need, especially young boys who are completely left out of the conversation.
I love fanfic.net, but everyone in the reviews is SO critical. "Great story! However, you used the wrong your, so, I have to report you, call the cops, alert the HOA, and upload this onto twitter."
Severitus but instead of Harry being scared of making the wrong move, he wants to make the wrong move. He can't stand the lack of chaos and shouting, he needs to feel unsafe because that is how he feels safe. So he keeps pushing his buttons, and he's getting punished ofc, but he's not being hit. There's no slapping, spanking, kicking, nothing.
One day, he pushes too many buttons for him to believe that he's not going to be hit, but to his surprise, he's not hit, so he loses it. He's screaming, shouting, maybe even crying a bit, asking when will he be hit because he can't handle not knowing.
Severus, calm as ever, maybe even looking down at a book or something, tells him he will never hit him because it's cruel, stupid, or wtv reason.
Cue Harry sobbing because he's never been told something like that, and Severus reassuring him.
Some idiot: "Why are you reading your own fic, that's shallow and stupid"
All fanfic writers and writers everywhere: "Who the fuck do you think I wrote it for?!"
GOOD NEWS: you just discovered magic. BAD NEWS: you specifically just discovered magic, there's nobody more experienced who can explain how to clean up the mess.
Everyone always talks about imagining scenes and not being able to write them, but have you ever had the opposite happen? Cause it's literally me 24/7.
I'll be in the mood to write, having a general idea of what I want, and I can't stop writing, but I also can't keep thinking of things. The last time this happened, I didn't stop for 2 whole days, didn't sleep. Wrote while writing, wrote while crying, literally all day, but I just kept rewriting cause I physically couldn't think of other scenes.
“what’s your writing process” i put a pathetic guy in a blender and blend blend blend
Idk what I'm doing. MCU, Harry Potter, wtv else I want? 1# most basic man to have ever existed.
