i saw this and i want to post it just to be sure
My little brother came to the gym with me last week cause I wanted us to workout together one last time before he left for uni. Later, when we arrived home, our mom told me that he usually gets his workouts done during the weekdays and lets himself rest on the weekends. So basically, he had an extra workout because I wanted to lift some weights with him for the last time in what might be months before we see each other again. We now live in totally different cities which are a 9-hour drive away from each other, but I still have the sore muscles from our workout two days ago and the knowledge that he cares enough to actually waste his rest day for me. Siblings are a pain in the ass sometimes, but -God- do they care. My brothers are infuriating, but these little acts of love show how much they care. They may be annoying, but they are always there. Even if we don't live in the same place anymore.
I saw someone point out that Captain Gerard is at this ceremony and will watch watch a black lesbian woman, an asian man, a hispanic man and two queer men getting medals for being firefighters and I think that’s called divine retribution or something and I love it
when talking about fleabag, we all talk about "I love you"/" it'll pass" but what we don't talk about maybe cause it's implied, maybe cause just quoting this encapsulates the feeling but listen,
the lines go fleabag saying "I love you" and the hot priest says "it'll pass" and THEN HE SAYS "i love you too"
idk if you have to name it to know it, but the fact that he confesses his love for her, the fact that he chose God, the fact that despite right person-wrong time or maybe wrong person-right time, despite all that, it'll pass. The love wasn't unrequited but the choice was. the subsequent grief, heartbreak, it'll pass
this is just earth-shattering, cause the only person that truly saw her, loved her for what she was, didn't choose her, and no matter what it'll pass. as if the greatest heartbreak of life is that it keeps moving on and you have to move on with it POETIC CINEMA
Makes my heart flutter
Michael and Alan play a practical joke on Daniel during one of their takes. (x)
Be kind to each other, that’s all that matters. Why judge people because they’re different from you?
“A man can’t be raped or abused by a woman-”
“Men are physically stronger than women so they can take abuse-”
“I bet he enjoyed it-“
“Male rape is less common so it doesn’t matter-”
“You’re not a true feminist if you address male problems too-“
“They’re men. They’ll get over it-“
one of my favorite things about eddie is the fact that his characterization in his first episode (doing show-off kicks in the gym, acting knowledgeable about selfie lighting, likes to be called EIGHT PACK) is so divergent from his real canon personality throughout the entire rest of the show, which of course we as the audience understand to be a symptom of them not knowing if he was going to be a regular or having found his character yet, but that couldn't possibly be an explanation in-canon, which means the only possible canon interpretation that would make sense is that his bitch ass met buck, immediately smelled blood in the water, and not only decided to fuck with him, but accidentally got so into it that he started to have his own homosexual peacock freakout
