SFTH FIC MASTERLIST

Hi everyone, firstly I’m so sorry for having not updated the fic list in so long- I feel so bad about it, but I’ve come up with a solution!

the links just. stopped formatting properly. after a while, and there are honestly so many part 1,2,3 ect’s to keep track of and link, as well as keeping the number of fics somewhat accurate down the bottom.

I also have a masterlist of fics on the discord, but it’s on a google doc and I don’t feel quite right about sharing that doc publicly online as I know some people could be using their personal emails ect, so I’ve made a copy and will update both of these. (So it’s the same just two different docs)

Note: This list does not have rpf on it. The rpf tends to not get hidden in the search results. If you filter the search “shoot from the hip” by “date updated” or “date posted” you’ll be able to find it, and if you still can’t, further narrow your search down by filtering characters.

Anyway, here is the list!!!! I will keep the old list linked in my pinned post but it will no longer be updated.

Also I just wanted to say I love this fandom so much ❤️

I always wondered how the AO3 team managed to make the character tags because I highly doubt they actually go and look at the source material - I guess they do work off of context clues, then! (and help from the fandom) I imagine the fanon names really mess things up. I'm always astounded when they actually go to the correct character tag

Hopefully it'll get easier since SFTH seems to be naming their characters way more frequently now than they did in the past

I was actually looking at the Beetroots & Murder tag today and wondering why it was a bit... Uh, messy - that does explain some things!

Sometimes I wonder what the AO3 tag wranglers thing about the SFTH fandom- we probably make things so difficult for them- just think about how many characters don’t have names, that in it of itself can’t make things easy

So I recently watched both Sonic Movies cause I was on a plane and never got the chance to, and wow. Anyway, brain rot hit hard for Stobotnik and so I'll just throw these concepts out into the void of Tumblr for you all, I guess

So like, from the first movie Robotnik's all like "Tell me you should've stopped them" or whatever so it would be kind cool if in the third movie for some parallels (ignoring all the other stuff that would entail, idk I'm tired) either:

Robotnik finds himself in the same position as Stone and has to decide between going after them or checking on Stone (I like to imagine he like shoots at them or orders some robots or whatever to go after them before rushing inside thinking to himself about how he was scolding Stone about this not too long ago and how he should probably go after them still, but... Stone. Or if you're a fan of angst, Robotnik does go after them after some brief deliberation but it turns out Stone is actually really hurt and does need help.)

Or more realistically, somehow Stone is in the situation again and also has to decide the same thing, but like, he remembers how Robotnik wanted him to go after them, so he doesn't go and check because he wants to follow orders or whatever. Idk how Robotnik would really be but I like to imagine he's actually pretty hurt and just kinda waiting like 'where the hell is Stone???' Not realizing that he's just not going to be there

I dunno, use that however I just like those concepts and aren't gonna use them for anything, so I thought I might as well share. Feel free to use them

thought that rubric thing was the funniest thing ever so i went poking around your fics to see if i could find that 7.5 and the first fic i looked at had a rubric in the bookmarks which was very funny. like, probably not the same person, but i was amused.

also, thought, ooh new author to check out… i already read your stuff.
