so… are the scars in the shape of autopsy incisions?
like that would make so much sense, bringing them back from the dead only to have them marked with the symbol of the death they couldn’t accept. I think that Brennan described a “y” shape at one point, which is the shape used to open up a body cavity for autopsy
i really need someone to tell me im not crazy

what a good day to remember that butch lesbians (ESPECIALLY trans, poc, and/or fat butch lesbians) aren’t fucking predatory
I know I don’t post often, but I just love Laura so much. She’s a huge reason I felt comfortable coming out to my family, since my dad was the one to introduce me to Against Me!
Having such a cool and unabashedly trans person playing on our radio meant the world to me and I don’t know if I would have had the courage without her.
While I wasn’t ever uncertain my mom would support me, my father has always been harder to read. So having him say that she was one of his favorite singers, made my life a hell of a lot easier.
As cheesy as it is, this is why representation matters.
Long Live Laura Jane Grace

im going to try out being a Jonathan-appreciator on main
Imagine if you will:
Jonathan, growing up was a very serious kid.
But he did have his exceptions.
“For the honor of Camelot!” Jonathan held a styrofoam sword high. Five year old Will and Mike copied him with their training twigs .
“Boys, what are you doing?” Joyce laughed, hand over her mouth as she watched the two toddlers copy their instructor.
“For the honor of Camelot!” Mike and Will cheered, voices high and chirpy the way kids who had too much fundip did.
“Training my minions” Jonathan cooed, ruffling the twos hairs. Happy eyes glowed up at him.
“Jonathan you didn’t just call them minions, they’re five!” Joyce wheezed out a giggle and snort.
“What’s a minion?” Will asked Mike, tilting his head.
“I think I heard that word in church once” Mikes face went squished. “I don’t wanna be a choir boy, I wanna fight for the honor of King Arthur!”
Looking back on it, Jonathan could probably believe that he had a small hand in Mike picking up a fire poker and using it as a whole sword when the Hawkins Apocalypse of 1987 started.
hi, you are one of my favorite blogs on this hellsite (affectionate)
im trying desperately to get better at the whole reblogging instead of just liking posts thing, since my social anxiety is high enough it also effects my social media lol
hell yeah i'm so glad you're getting better!! social anxiety is so real. i know for some people what has helped is being able to think "oh, hey, if i mess up or something bad happens, i don't know anyone here, so i can just delete my account and start over with no consequences". there's also the queue, which i know lots of people use for social anxiety.
but that may not work for you, and that's fine!!! good intentions and effort is half the battle <3
He looks like he’s gonna kill me… and I would let him

I am, in fact, gay for Daniel Brühl
🏳️🌈 Happy Pride Month! 🏳️🌈
As much as I agree with all this, I must point out:
Adrian may be styled to be a thinner nerd type, but he's still played by a very conventionally-attractive (and not particularly scrawny) actor. That's probably what makes him stand out, because he's a hunk/heartthrob given glasses, dark curls, and a goofy personality, and that creates a striking dissonance.
But also, the fact that Freddie has a medium build and more youthful, boyish features than most of the DCEU men is what allows him to plausibly play both a dorky nerd (albeit a distractingly cute one) and a beefy hunk (ie. all his previous roles), and that aesthetic versatility is just not in the cards for the guys who play Batman, Aquaman, Rick Flagg, Peacemaker, etc.
Of course none of this would matter if Freddie hadn't acted the shit out of Vigilante with a performance that was so distinctly different from all his previous work, so most of the credit still goes to him and his talent!
Freddie put his entire Strussy into Vigilante. And what's even better is that in practically everything he was in, he was shirtless. In Peacemaker he wasn't. He was remembered solely for his acting and that just makes me so damn proud of him. He didn't have to whip his shirt off to get people's attention. He did that just by flexing his acting muscles.
He's been in the industry for over a decade. He's dipped his toes in almost every genre you can think of, disregarding if it was a small role or not. The man has picked up skills throughout the years. He's like a good bowl of soup; you get the proper ingredients and start cooking, if you know what you're doing, you end up with a delicious bowl of soup. Freddie is that bowl of soup that everyone wants a taste of. He draws in a hungry crowd.
