That moment when you're just chilling with Stranger Things fanfiction and you get a notification that another porn bot followed you on Tumblr... Ugh.

Okay, folks! Here's a little warning for those who're lucky enough to not have experienced this yet. When I first opened my Tumblr account, I kept getting followed by porn bots. They usually have empty blogs, and a profile photo of a sexy woman. If you get followed by one of those, block them immediately. Just block them as they follow you. Also, make sure you just block anyone who posts content that makes you uncomfortable. This morning, I tapped on the profile of a like, because I suspected that it was another porn bot. I definitely think it was, except the blog wasn't empty. There was actual porn, in video format. I reported it, and blocked that user. It is not a bad thing to block people who post sexually explicit materials. It is a boundary that you can set for the sake of your mental and emotional health. I know most users on Tumblr are probably wise to this by now, but please reblog this post. Because when I first joined Tumblr, I wasn't. I would've loved a warning about the porn bots.

Welp, here I am again, rambling on Tumblr cause I can't ramble about it irl. Hope this makes somebody smile!

So, here's my thing. We all know that if the og party, none of them were "mr. popularity." We also know that they were bullied by what's-his-name- troy, right? And when Max joined the friend group, she might have been picked on for associating with the nerds. After the events of season 2, or even before everything goes down, I imagine that the party, now including Max, is getting chased around by troy, and they somehow end up near the high school gym.

As they're trying to figure out where to hide, Dustin has a thought: wouldn't Steve Harrington be in basketball practice right about now?

Meanwhile, Steve is just trying his best against the absolute beast of an athlete that is billy hargrove. He's already having a hard time focusing, but then he hears the door opening.

"Steve!"

He pauses, and turns his back on hargrove to see Will, and all the kids who were involved in last year's shitshow, plus a red-headed girl he hadn't seen before. With the exception of lil' Byers, everyone is talking over each other.

"whoa, whoa, whoa," he says. "Slow down, guys. One at a time. What's going on?"

Henderson takes a deep breath and speaks calmly, but Steve can hear his voice trembling.

"troy is giving us shit again. Can we hide out here for a little bit? We're nerds, so he'd never thin to look for us in the high school gym."

Steve starts to nod, but pauses. Something Nancy had told him comes floating to the front of his mind.

"Isn't troy the kid who threatened to cut your teeth out if Wheeler didn't jump off the cliff at the quarry?"

Henderson and Wheeler both go a little pale, so Steve knows he's remembered correctly. He takes a deep breath to reign in his anger. Even if the kid deserved it, no eighth grader, not even this "troy" bastard, deserved to get beat up by a high school senior. Besides, the kiddos don't need his anger right now.

Okay, sorry, that became much more like an actual story than I meant it to, and I don't know how to continue it that way, but I'm not finished rambling, so. I'll continue, I guess.

Anyway, Steve gets all protective of all of them, naturally, and gets Hargrove to chase troy away, because Billy is freaking scary. He doesn't realize that Billy agrees because this punk was chasing Max, too.

Anyway, at the end of it all, the kids are kind of shaky, and Steve remembers that they all play d&d, and he also remembers that there is a particular student who dms the school d&d club. So what does he do?

He gets cleaned up, and picks up all 4 of the lads-don't ask me how, he strong jock boy, ok?-and carries them off to Hellfire. Max follows on foot, because Steve asks her if she'd rather do that, or be carried with the boys. Max prefers to walk.

Anyway, that is how Steve introduced the lads to Eddie Munson, and how both the bad boy athlete and the metal head nerd both fall for Steve, because I just can't help myself.

Cody: Let's change the subject. Fox can't participate in the conversation because he doesn't have a Jedi. Fox: What do you mean? I have a Jedi. Rex: My Jedi isn't yours just because he spends too much time around the Senate. Fox: I'm not talking about your crazy Jedi. Wolffe: So you're serious? You have a Jedi? Bly: Since when does the Coruscant Guard have a Jedi? Fox: Since I arrested him. Cody: Wait...Fox, no. Rex: Huh? Fox: He hasn't left since. Wolffe: You arrested a Jedi? Wouldn't that be a Sith? Fox: No, he's a Jedi. He's an idiot Jedi, but he's a Jedi. Bly: So, wait, let me get this straight...You arrested a Jedi, that Jedi won't leave you alone now...so you're keeping him like a stray tooka? Fox: Yes. Cody: Fox, please. Rex: Who is this Jedi? Fox: Quinlan Vos. Cody: I'm leaving Coruscant.

Not all of us Steddie shippers are bullying assholes. As a Steddie shipper, I don't want them to be a part of our group. I think it's absolutely disgusting what they're doing to Grace. I really hope they stop. I am sending you my warmest regards and hope this war ends soon. Most importantly, I send my regards to Grace, too. I doubt she'll read this, but if she does. . .Grace, I'm sorry you have to go through this. I know you did nothing wrong. I wish desperately for people to grow the hell up.

Alright, I've finally got an idea to tell you guys about! Sorry it's been a while since I've posted anything original. Anywho, here it is.

Okay, so. I like to imagine Steve speedrunning his character development after season one ends. It starts with him realizing that he isn't what Nancy needs in a relationship. He says to her, "Look, just give Jonathan a bit more time, ok? I can tell that you'll be happier with him than with me."

So that happens. Then, Steve realizes two things:

Steve Harrington wants to help people.

Steve Harrington wants to be nothing like his father.

So the first thing he does is start applying himself to his studies as best he can. I personally headcanon that Steve is dyslexic, maybe with ADHD, and very much a kinesthetic learner. It takes special tutoring from Nancy and Jonathan-the unexpected honors student-for Steve to find a way of studying that works for him.

The next thing Steve does is decide to get a job so that he can move out of his parents' house as soon as he turns eighteen. He starts looking for jobs, and decides that he'll work at least two: one that's purely for getting paid, and the other for helping people.

Course, after the fight with Jonathan, Steve was well aware that he was absolute shit in a fight. So being a cop was out of the question. An EMP was a possibility, but Steve, while not necessarily squeamish, has a hard time getting things out of his head. If he saw a particularly gruesome injury in the field, he'd have nightmares for weeks.

Eventually, Steve decides to go for firefighting. It just feels right for him. His coaches are listed as references on his application, and he applies at the Hawkins Fire Department, as well as Melvald's and Family Video. Melvald's is the second job that sticks. And by some miracle, he manages to get a job at the fire department. So that entire year between st1 and st2, Steve is working his ass off, both to help people and to get out of his parents' house.

He manages to get enough money to move out right after his 18th birthday, April 29, 1984. He's been working himself half to death between work, school, and the sports that are still fun, and it's definitely not healthy, but he's helping people while being nothing like his father, so it's fine. Of course, he really couldn't care less when Billy Hargrove rolls into town, and he maintains a vague awareness of Eddie Munson because the kids play d&d (yeah, this is a harringroveson au as well, cause I just can't help myself).
