He didn't cry. Crying is pointless. It leads you nowhere. He didn't talk as much as before, no one wants to listen. He just answered whatever question they asked. He fixed what they broke, ate what they brought him, sat back and watched them laugh without him when they invited him to whatever.

Do what everyone else wants. You don't matter. Whatever they want. It was a while when Jason barged in the bunker where he was hiding and hugged him.

"Woah hey man. You okay?"

"I'm sorry. I'm sorry, I should've noticed."

"It's okay." Jason pulled back and held his face. He was crying. "No, it's not. I... I miss you."

"Miss me? I'm right here."

"No. I miss you. When you'd pull pranks, and make stupid jokes, and talk about whatever machine for hours."

"You guys hated that so I stopped."

"Some were a little inappropriate but Gods Leo you're a person. You have wants and needs, I'd rather have a water balloon drop on my head, then see you do this to yourself. You can't do what everyone else wants because it makes them happy. You're allowed to do what you want, to say no."

"Jason if I do that I'll die."

"How?"

"I'd rather feel needed than kill myself."

"It's the only thing keeping me alive." He smiled at him but the tears were obvious. Jason hugged him again, Leo hugging back this time.

"What if um... what if I stayed with you?" Jason asked. "That way you won't be alone."

"That'd be nice." Leo replied. He was trying so hard not to break.

"What do you need right now?" Leo broke down. He cried into his chest Jason holding onto him, letting him know he's here and he always will be from now on.

You know when you’re reading a fic and a side pairing sneaks up on you and steals your heart, and the next thing you you’re tens if not hundreds of thousands of words deep in fics about a couple you’d never even thought about before? That’s me currently with @rosyredlipstick and Mitchell/Connor Stoll. I came here for Solangelo and got less of it than I bargained for, but somehow I’m really, really not disappointed.
