Honestly I would think that Noah is not all that jealous most of the time.

It's been hours too since you'd come over to check in with him, something the two of you did at social gatherings a lot, so when this stranger has taken your attention for as long as they have, yeah he's a little annoyed.

He's not usually one for PDA but in this situation I would think he'd walk over and put your arm around your waist subtly.

"That's exactly why- oh, hi Noah," you chuckled, surprised by his sudden appearance.
