“Okay. Okay, you got everything? Nothing left in the car from yesterday?”
“Ouais, soleil.”
“And you’ve got your tea in the cupboard. I bought you your tea, right?”
Logan smiled from his place at the kitchen counter, leaning back into Finn’s chest. “Ouais, mon amour.”
“Good.” Leo spent another moment fussing through the kitchen cabinets before he turned towards them, nodding satisfactorily. “Good, alright, you’re all set. You call us if you forgot anything, okay?”
“Mhm.” Logan reached out a hand. “Ici, Le.”
Leo walked around to stand beside them, leaning down to cup Logan’s jaw. His eyes flitted over Logan’s face, a bit sad at the edges, even though he was smiling. Logan could feel the cool metal of his rings against his jaw, and he reached up to rub his thumb along them. Leo let out a breathy laugh. “You’re so gorgeous.”
“Mm,” Logan hummed. He tilted his head up for a soft kiss. “You have to go,” he whispered against Leo’s mouth.
Finn squeezed him tighter with a shaky breath. “No.”
“Ouais, yes. Leo has his first practice tomorrow. You have to go get your classroom ready.”
“No.”
Logan bit his lip against the oncoming tears. “Finn-”
“We just got married.” Logan could feel Finn’s tears falling against the fabric of his shirt- Leo’s shirt. “It’s not fair, we just got married.”
“Sweetheart,” Leo said gently, reaching out to run a hand through Finn’s hair. “Lo’s right. We don’t want to drive home in the dark.”
“But home is right here.”
“Mon rouge.” Logan boosted himself out of the chair and turned to face Finn. He cupped his cheeks, red from his crying, and wiped away the tears sticking to his skin. “Sh, mon rouge, c’est bien. It’s okay, baby.”
“I don’t want to leave you.”
Logan drew him into a tight hug. “I know, sh, I know. Mon mari.”
Leo pressed against Logan’s back and they stood there for a few minutes, just breathing. This part was always difficult; Logan had had half a mind to move back to New York all by himself this year, but Leo and Finn had shot that down quickly enough, and so the day before they had accompanied him to move all his stuff. Logan couldn’t say he wasn’t grateful for them coming, and was certainly grateful for today, when they’d spent the whole day inside, wrapped in each others’ bodies. Newlywed bliss was as heady and lovely as Logan had imagined, but he felt he had spent the whole summer with a clock floating above his head, waiting for the hand to strike midnight when they would have to separate and navigate being husbands- husbands- across distance. And now, with Finn shaking and falling apart in his arms, and Leo’s chest heaving as he not-so-subtly began to cry as well, Logan momentarily cursed the love he had for the sport that he played.
“D’accord.” Logan kissed the side of Finn’s head firmly. “D’accord, it has to happen sometime.”
Leo nodded against his neck. “We’re gonna miss you. Call us every morning.”
“Mon soleil,” Logan said, reaching back to scratch a hand through Leo’s curls. “I’ll call you every hour.”
That made Leo laugh wetly. “Okay. Okay, that sounds good.” He bent his neck slightly and Logan craned his to meet him, brushing their lips together. “I love you so much.”
Logan smiled against his mouth. “I love you, too, Le.”
Finn made a wounded sound against his neck. “Lo.”
“Sh, sh, Finn.” Logan laced his fingers through Finn’s hair to pull his head up and look at him. His cheeks were wet again and Logan kissed the purple under his eyes. “Je t’aime. Je t’aime, toujours, je t’aime.”
“I love you,” Finn gasped. “I love you, I love you both so much. This is-” He let out a groan and let his head fall back into Logan’s touch. “This is so hard, I don’t want to do this.”
“Hey,” Logan said. He tugged on Finn’s waves gently, even as tears began to roll down his own cheeks. “I’ll call you every morning and every night. I’ll send you a picture on every run I take, of every new bistro I go to, of every new drink I try and don’t like because you didn’t make it for me. D’accord?”
Finn’s eyes blinked slowly and he nodded, studying Logan’s face. “Promise?”
“Promise.”
“Okay.” Finn leaned down and kissed him hard. “I love you,” he whispered, voice shaky.
Logan ran his hands down Finn’s arms until they could lace their fingers together. “Je t’aime.”
Leo’s arms squeezed once around his waist. “It’s time.”
Logan nodded, kissing Finn’s hands before turning and stepping on Leo’s feet gently. He wrapped his arms around his neck and brought him down into a hug. “Drive home, please,” he whispered in French into Leo’s ear. “He’s going to fall asleep in the car.”
Leo laughed. “Ouais, he is.”
Emotionally exhausting days made Finn tired, whether they were happy or sad. The day of their wedding, in the middle of the reception, Leo and Logan had had to take him into the dressing room at their venue and coax him into taking a nap on the too-small couch.
Tonight, however, he would be the feverish kind of tired and would no doubt fall asleep as soon as they hit the highway. It would be safer for Leo to drive, even if that didn’t provide Logan comfort, either- when Leo was emotionally exhausted, he couldn’t sleep. During away games, Logan knew he often didn’t. Until Finn retired, Leo hadn’t slept in a hotel room without one of them since making it to the NHL. At least Finn, when Leo was on the road, got to come home to a familiar apartment, or he went to visit Logan for the weekend. And Logan was used to it; he’d slept in the same room with different teammates since Harvard, and now he roomed with Alex on roadies. But Leo… Logan hugged him harder at the thought of him alone in an unfamiliar bed.
“Mon soleil,” Logan said urgently. “You have to call me, d’accord? When you- when you can’t sleep, when you’re alone on roadies. I don’t want you to be alone.”
“I promise.” Leo squeezed him just as tightly, his cold nose seeking out the warmth of the skin of Logan’s neck. He pressed a smile there, too. “Oh, I love you so much. Mon mari.”
Logan smiled, too, and pulled back to look at him, blue eyes crystal clear and bright, even in the hard moments. Logan never thought he’d be so grateful for that. “Oui. Mon mari.”
When Leo kissed him, Logan shuddered at the warmth that washed over his body. Leo had one hand in his hair, one wrapped around his waist to draw their bodies together, needing to be closer. Logan let his arms drape over Leo’s shoulders and arched into his touch. It was the kind of kiss he had definitely seen in a movie- a desperate goodbye, happy and sad and in love in equal measure. Logan moved to hold Leo’s face firmly in his hands. He brushed his thumb over his sharp jaw, under his eyes where the skin would turn purple and puffy later tonight, along the slightly textured skin of his cheeks that Leo hated but Logan loved, because everything about Leo was absolutely beautiful.
Logan kept Leo close to him for one more lingering press of their lips. He didn’t let them pull away very far from each other, just enough to touch their foreheads together. “Je t’aime.”
Leo kissed him once more, quick but sure. “I love you. I’ll see you in a few weeks, right? Preseason game?”
“Ouais.”
“And you’ll see Finn in two weeks, when he comes to visit?”
Logan smiled at Leo’s rambling. He was a bit tense under Logan’s hands. “Ouais.”
“I left you some leftovers in the fridge. Please remember to eat, Lo, and you call me if you need help, ‘kay? I’ll help you cook, I’ll send you recipes, I’ll-”
Logan interrupted him with one more kiss, feeling as Leo finally relaxed into him. “I will. I love you.”
“Okay.” Leo pressed his lips to Logan’s forehead softly. “I love you. See you in a few weeks.”
Logan hummed, running his hand through Leo’s hair. A noise from their sides made them both look over. Finn was standing there, his fist pressed to his mouth, as more tears rolled down his cheeks. The fact that he was still beautiful broke Logan’s heart. “Rouge.”
“Sorry.” Finn sniffed and wiped his eyes. “God, I’m sorry, it’s just- the sight of you two together, I just can’t.”
Leo held his arm open. “Come here, sweetheart.”
Finn just about fell into them, one arm gripping Leo’s waist and the other up around Logan’s back, coming to clutch at his hair and press their temples together. “I love you so much.”
Logan kissed his cheeks. “Je t’aime. I’ll see you in two weeks.”
“Two weeks.”
“Mhm.” Logan brought their mouths together. Finn always kissed differently when they said goodbye: a little desperate, a little frantic. It was the only time when Logan and Leo had to direct him into what he wanted, too upset to do so himself. Logan rested his thumb firmly against Finn’s chin and dipped his head down. Finn responded beautifully, his mouth going softer, more heated. With one last sigh and deep press of their mouths, Logan pulled away and kissed his forehead. “Take care of each other.”
Leo nodded. “Always, Lo.” He let them go to grab the duffle bag he and Finn were sharing, hefting it onto his shoulder. His eyes were wet as he looked at the two of them, but he still smiled. “Okay. Time to go.”
Logan took Finn by the hand and walked him over, then took Leo’s and brought them to his mouth, kissing their rings. “I love you. Call when you get back to Gryff.”
“Ouais.” Leo opened the door and turned to face them, holding his hand out to Finn. “Let’s go, sweetheart.”
Finn nodded, his lips still in that little pout that meant he was really upset. Logan stood on his toes and kissed it. “Je t’aime.”
“I love you.” Finn drew him in for one more hug, laced their fingers, then reached his other hand out to take Leo’s. “See you soon.”
Logan squeezed his fingers. “See you soon.” He looked up to Leo. “Have a good start to the season.”
“You, too, honey.” Leo leaned down and kissed him softly once more. “I love you.”
“I love you.”
Finn held onto Logan’s fingers until he physically couldn’t. “Love you.”
Logan smiled and leaned his head against the doorframe. He felt like his chest was starting to become cold. “Je t’aime.”
He watched them until they disappeared into the elevator, Leo waving goodbye once more. Finn was leaning heavily into his side, obviously trying to hold back any more tears until they got to the car. Leo kissed the top of his head lovingly. That was the last image Logan had of them until the elevator doors closed.
With a heavy sigh, Logan closed the door and leaned against it, running his hands through his hair. His fingers twitched. He needed something to do to stop the ache in his chest.
Eating dinner was simply just going through the motions. It was early still, around five in the evening, but Logan didn’t really know what else to do to occupy himself. He didn’t want to play videogames. He didn’t want to watch a movie. Instead, he sat in silence at his counter, letting the warmth of Leo’s bolognese sauce settle over his tongue. Every now and then, his phone lit up with a notification, and he got to look at the lock screen. It was of Leo, Finn, and himself at their wedding. Logan was in between them, his favorite place, one hand laced with Finn’s behind him and one hand on Leo’s chest, looking up and smiling at something Leo had said to make him laugh. He could feel the phantom warmth of Finn on his back, the sure grip of Leo’s palms on his hips. The photo hadn’t even been staged- Noelle had simply caught them at the right time with her phone camera. It had been just before dinner, when the sun was still out, and they hadn’t worn themselves out talking and dancing and eating and laughing. Logan wanted to go back to that moment and exist in it forever, just a little bubble of their own making.
He yawned. It was definitely not even six o’clock, but he felt like he needed a nap. An hour would do the trick- then he would be awake for Leo and Finn’s phone call. He put his dishes in the sink to be washed the following morning and went to change into a pair of Finn’s boxers and Leo’s Saints sweatshirt that he’d left him. Leo would encourage him to get ready for bed now, even if he was planning on waking up again. He knew Logan hated waking up with a bad taste in his mouth.
Brushing his teeth alone was still a feeling that made the hairs of his neck stand on edge. Logan was waiting for Finn’s hand to run through his hair, for Leo to bump their hips together from beside him. He missed the way Leo would break them each a string of floss, something that Logan and Finn had, admittedly, not started doing until they started dating him. What Logan would do to have Leo’s bright white smile flashing at him in the reflection of the mirror. To have Finn make fun of the water he dumped on the sink counter when he washed his face, or the way he laughed when Logan inevitably got soap in his eyes and pleaded for a towel. The way Leo would take moisturizer on his knuckle and dot it over Logan’s cheeks, sealing the cream with a kiss on his nose.
Logan’s head throbbed. He let out a soft groan and reached into his medicine cabinet, flapping around for his bottle of ibuprofen. He popped two pills into his mouth and drank from the sink faucet, forcing them down his throat. He winced- he hated the feeling of pills going down his throat. Finn had been making fun of him for it since they’d met.
Logan sighed, then turned off the light and dragged himself to his bedroom. Leo had left his childhood stuffed duck, Charlie, on the pillows. Logan had been embarrassed the first time Leo had brought Charlie over, but he had become essential during the lonely nights when Logan needed something to hug. Charlie was tiny, and wasn’t as warm as either of his husbands, but he was the same color as Leo’s hair, and Leo had stitched an ‘F’ and an ‘L’ over his heart as a surprise for Logan last Valentine’s Day, when it had corresponded with the All Star break. Logan smiled and pulled back the covers, squeezing Charlie to his chest and pressing a kiss over the letters. His eyes started to shut against his will, his body heavy and warm underneath the blankets.
Between one moment and the next, without even realizing it, he was asleep.
***
Some time later, Logan awoke to a pitch black bedroom. He grunted, wincing when his back popped as he stretched, Charlie still firmly held in his hands. Logan let him fall to his chest and looked at him with a soft smile. He was sat and slumped over, obviously worn a little with love. Logan went to reach for his phone to send a picture to- Leo. He was waiting for Leo, and Finn, to call. He sat up straight and picked up his phone from his bedside table. 11:30.
Logan cursed. His boys were definitely home, and Finn, at the very least, was probably asleep. He sat up a little bit, pulling Charlie to sit in the crook of his elbow, and opened his messages with Leo. You awake?
The response was almost immediate. Yeah.
Logan hit the video call button less than a second later, tapping his toe anxiously. When Leo answered, he was in their living room, dark circles under his eyes. He smiled softly. “Hi, sweetheart.”
“Salut.” Logan shifted to slouch further against the pillows. He tilted the phone down. “Regarde, look who I have.”
Leo smiled wider. “Aw, look at you two. You fall asleep?”
“Ouais, I’m so sorry,” Logan said quickly. He shook his head. “I was exhausted.”
“I’m sure,” Leo laughed gently. “You and Finn both fall asleep when you have tough days.”
Logan made a noise of dissent. “It wasn’t all tough. Not the morning.”
Leo softened. “No. No, it wasn’t.” His eyes flitted over Logan’s face. “Did you eat?”
“Ouais.”
“Did you get ready for bed?”
Logan narrowed his eyes. “Ouais. I know what you’re doing.”
“I will force you to take care of yourself, even if we are three hours away, sweetheart, you know this.” He winked. “You married me.”
Logan felt the hard sensation in his chest melt a little. “Ouais. I did.” He looked at Leo for a moment before licking his lips. “Fish?”
“Asleep, honey. We barely finished dinner and he was nodding off.”
As if on cue, a slightly panicked voice sounded from off the screen. “Le?”
Leo winced. “Yikes, shouldn’t have left him alone in bed.” He stood from the couch, his eyes looking over the phone as he entered their bedroom. Logan admired the sharp angle of his jaw and chin as he smiled reassuringly at Finn. “Hi, sweetheart. I’m right here.”
“Is that Lo?”
“Yeah, hold on.” There was some shuffling, the click of a lamp turning on, and then Logan was watching as Leo settled down onto the bed, pulling Finn’s head to rest against his chest. Finn also had purple under his eyes and his hair was mussed in the way it got after he’d slept heavily. He blinked slowly and yawned. Leo kissed his head. “Say hi, honey.”
Finn let out a heavy sigh, his cheek squishing against Leo’s chest as he tried for a small smile. “Hi.”
“Oh, mon rouge,” Logan cooed. “You’re so sleepy.”
“Mm. Miss you.” He shifted to look up at Leo. “Did you sleep, baby?”
Leo’s cheeks reddened. “No.”
“Hm,” Finn grunted, then pushed himself up and away to shift onto his side. “C’mere.”
Leo let out an oomph and a laugh as Finn dragged him back against his chest. They were sideways on the bed now, and Logan got to look at both of their tired, beautiful faces. He could feel the phantom sensation of their feet tangled with his own if he tried hard enough.
Finn pressed an exaggerated kiss on the back of Leo’s head and made a happy little sound. “Bone.”
“Mon chéri,” Logan sighed. “Non, ton français n'est pas très bon.”
“Nom nom nom.”
Leo giggled and snuggled further under their covers, blue eyes peeking out from under his curls. “You okay, sweetheart?”
“Ouais,” Logan nodded. “Just miss you.”
“You still got Charlie?”
Logan held up the toy and wiggled it in front of the camera. “Right here, soleil.”
“Good.” He shifted a bit. “I’m going to prop you up on a pillow, hold on.” He fiddled around for a minute, then had both of his hands free to hold Finn’s forearms, which were wrapped around his waist. “There. Now we can talk until we fall asleep.”
“Mm.” Logan shifted onto his own side and propped his phone on a couple of throw pillows, hugging Charlie close to his chest. He looked at Finn, who had his eyes closed and nose in Leo’s hair, then at Leo’s open eyes and their dark circles. “How do you feel, soleil?”
Leo sighed. “Tired. Awake. You know.”
“Ouais,” Logan whispered. “I know.” He smiled softly. “How about I tell you a story?”
Leo smiled back, sleepy and content. “Ouais. Sounds good. Fish?”
“Mm.”
Leo laughed, squeezing Finn’s hands and then looking at Logan. “That’s him saying yes, and that he loves you. We both do.”
Logan’s heart fluttered. Years and years of loving them and his heart still fluttered. “I love you, too. Close your eyes, mon soleil.” When Leo complied, Logan shifted to get comfortable, then took a deep breath. His husbands’ faces were peaceful on the other side of the screen.
“One day, Luke and I went running in Central Park. It was beautiful, sunny- the kind of day where you wanted to sit on the grass and tan. It was a month before I proposed to you. I had the rings and everything, buried in my sock drawer.”
Logan saw Leo smile and heard Finn let out a content sigh, his hands flexing around Leo’s waist. Leo’s eyes blinked open briefly, like he couldn’t help it, before they shut again with a flutter of his golden lashes. Logan reached out and thumbed the screen, as if to touch them.
“There was a woman selling flowers. She sold them individually and in bouquets, I think. Lots of people were there buying them; when Luke and I went to look, they were all gone. Except two.” He bit his lip- against a laugh, against a sob, he didn’t know which. “Just two. A bright yellow daffodil and a red rose.”
Leo made a sound in the back of his throat. “Lo.”
“Sh, mon soleil,” Logan hushed. Leo’s eyebrows were furrowed. “It’s all right.”
Leo nodded, then settled down again. Finn held him tighter. It made Logan’s heart ache.
“I bought them,” he whispered. “And I cut the stems like you showed me, Le, and put them in water in the tallest mug I had, because I don’t have a vase. And I sat and looked at them every day until they wilted. Or, they almost wilted.” He cleared his throat. “I left a gift for you. Under the bed, in a brown paper bag. Open it tomorrow, ouais?” At Leo’s affirmative sound, Logan laughed slightly. “It’s to remind you how much I love you.” He got closer to the camera and talked in a more hushed tone. “I love you, I love you, I love you…”
He whispered to them until he saw Leo’s chest even out in sleep, then closed his own eyes, Charlie the duck held close to his chest.

The next morning, Logan awoke to a text and a picture in their group chat from Leo. It was of his and Finn’s forearms next to one another, the bracelets Logan got them on their wrists. They were made of brown cord with a dry preserved petal bead each: sunshine yellow that perfectly matched Leo’s golden skin, and deep red the exact same color as Finn’s hair.
Thank you, sweetheart, Leo’s text read. We’re up, we love you, and call us when you’re awake.
Logan smiled and hit the video call icon once again.
I was wondering if you could write anything to do with any of these:
Finn and Logan being obsessed with Leo’s legs
Finn and Leo being obsessed with Logan’s arms
Logan and leo being obsessed with Finn’s freckles and eyes
Just them being obsessed with each other in general😭 they are so in love I can’t stand it
Thank you so much! You’re a Saint <3

Katie Dumais was getting too big, Logan thought. At ten years old, she was the spitting image of her dad, down to the practical pranks she played on her siblings. Adele found it amusing- Marc and Louis did not.
Ten was a big age, Logan decided. It was when kids stopped liking to be held, to be picked up, to hang out with their older siblings (blood related or not). Katie had given him and his boys a hard hug each when they arrived to her birthday party, but was now way more occupied with her friends where they were painting each other's nails on a picnic blanket in the Dumais’ backyard. Logan sighed, resting his head back against the Adirondack chair he was sitting on. He felt someone else sit in the chair beside him.
“This is making me feel old.”
Logan smiled at Sirius’ familar French and opened his eyes to look at him. “Ouais. I remember when she was little.”
“I remember when she was a newborn- I'd just moved in.”
Logan let out an amused snort. “Fuck, you must be feeling really old.”
“Allez, I'm not thirty quite yet.”
They laughed at each other for a brief moment. It felt good, to let go with Sirius again. Like it had been no time at all that they were on the same team, spending lots of free time together. They had so many fond memories together in the Dumais’ kitchen: meals shared, laughter, cleaning up the kitchen with Dumo. Logan loved the life he had now, with Finn and Leo, but there were times he wanted to be back there, young and clumsily moving through life. Being with Sirius in this moment felt like a different version of that, Logan supposed.
A presence joined them in the chair on Logan's other side. A cup with a drink in it appeared in front of his face. “For my Lo.”
Logan smiled and kissed Finn's cheek in thanks. “Merci.” He sipped it. “It's good.”
Finn patted his thigh. “Of course it is. I've made rum and coke for you for over a decade, I'm a master.”
“I wish Remus and I were good at mixing drinks,” Sirius said wistfully. “We always end up putting too much alcohol in it.”
Finn laughed around the sip he was taking from Logan's cup. “Well, if that's the goal, you're doing it right then.”
Sirius rolled his eyes. “Ouais, I guess.”
Finn nudged Logan's ear with his nose. “Heads up, some of Katie's friend have tiny siblings and they are all over Leo right now.”
Logan turned into him. Their noses were now brushing. “And what do you think of that?”
“Let's just say that, if I had ovaries, they would be bursting.”
Logan full-body laughed at that, hiding his face in Finn's shoulder. He could feel the smile Finn pressed into his forehead.
“What's so funny?” Remus asked. He and Cole had come to sit on Sirius’ other side.
Finn looked amused. “My ovaries.”
Remus just looked at him. “You don't have ovaries.”
“Well, not physical ones.”
Cole shook his head. “You're so fucking weird, O'Hara.”
Finn just shrugged. He took a sip of Logan's drink again, then suddenly sat up straighter. “Lo, look, look, look.”
Logan picked his head up to follow where Finn's finger was pointing to. Sure enough, Leo was surrounded by about half a dozen little kids, all definitely four or under, and they were playing what looked like a game of keep-away with a tiny soccer ball. A little girl was in the middle, laughing when Leo dangled the ball out in front of her, only to take it back. Eventually, he did let her get it, and went into the middle of the circle. He jogged slowly, exaggeratedly, as the kids passed it around to one another.
“Oh,” Remus said. He snorted lightly. “That's why your ovaries are exploding.”
Finn hummed. “Can you blame me?”
“He has no comment,” Sirius said, which made Remus just laugh.
Logan laced his fingers with Finn's on top of his thigh as they continued to watch. Leo looked happy, smile wide and white, a light sheen of sweat on his face from the hot summer sun. He was tall, too, dwarfing the small children around him. Logan let out a happy sigh. Finn kissed the side of his head. “He's going to be such a cute dad.”
Logan felt his chest warm. “Ouais. Ouais, he is.” He turned to kiss Finn properly on the mouth. “So are you. So sexy.”
Finn laughed a little breathlessly. “Stop that, you're getting me going,” he whispered.
“Maybe I want you to.” Logan leaned in closer with a smile. “Let's go to Dumo's bathroom again.”
Finn's ears were red and his eyes wide. Logan could tell he liked the idea, even if he wouldn't go through with it. “We can't do that, it's Katie's birthday.”
“She doesn't care about us,” Logan scoffed. “We're not cool enough anymore.”
Finn laughed and squeezed his hand. “Well, then, we can't because we're watching Leo play with tiny humans.”
“Oh, that's right.” Logan kissed Finn's cheek once more before turning with a sigh to look at Leo. “He's so tall.”
“Ugh, I know. Just look at his legs, Jesus Christ.”
Indeed, his legs were a sight to behold. They were lean and tan, the quad and hamstring muscles flexing and visible whenever he moved. His waist was slim, and he was tall, so shorts never ran long enough anyways, but Leo also preferred the eight-inch inseam, which left so much bare skin visible. Logan wanted to dig his teeth into the muscles of his inner thighs.
Leo was still in the middle, not quite yet letting himself best the kids. But one of them kicked the ball a little too hard, and it was going to go flying into a food table on the other side of the yard. Leo acted quickly, extending his long- so long, Jesus Christ- leg out to block it with his foot. He fell to the ground, one leg tucked under him and his other completely extended, the entire limb touching the ground. He didn't even flinch.
“Geez,” Remus said. “That's so not fair.”
“How the hell does he do that?” Cole asked. “That's so not fair.”
“Oh, it so is,” Finn said. His cheeks were flushed. “I'm a big fan.”
“Ew,” Sirius said. “Stop being gross.”
Logan scoffed. “Let's tell Loops what you think about his arms.”
Remus looked at Sirius mischievously. “Oh yeah? You like my arms, baby?”
Sirius stuttered. “Mais- allez, but- I don't not like them.”
“Oh my God,” Cole said, hands covering his face. “I should not be privy to these conversations.”
Finn just settled back in his chair, amused, and sighed contentedly. “Oh, look, here he comes.”
Logan turned to find Leo walking up to them. He was smiling, still, and he stopped in front of them with his hands on his hips. “Hi.”
“Hi, baby,” Finn said. He was looking at Leo adoringly. “Having fun?”
“Yeah,” Leo nodded. “Dumo and the other parents said they could watch the kids in the pool, so they went to change into their swimsuits.” When they said nothing, still just looking at him, he furrowed his eyebrows. “What?”
“They're saying inappropriate things about you,” Cole said.
Leo let out a confused laugh. “What?”
“Something about Finn's ovaries,” Sirius grumbled.
Leo blinked. “Excuse me? None of y'all have those.”
Finn leaned forward in his chair to cup the backs of Leo’s knees. “Figuratively, I do. C'mere, Le, sit.”
Leo hesitated, but he allowed himself to be pulled down and into straddling Finn's lap. Logan and Finn immediately put their hands on his thighs. “Why are you saying you have ovaries?”
Finn rolled his eyes. “They're figurative.” He kissed Leo quickly. “And they go crazy when I see you with kids.”
That got Leo to smile. “Yeah?”
Logan nodded. “Mhm, ouais. That and your legs.”
“Oo, yeah,” Finn said, rubbing his hands further up Leo's thighs. “Your flexible, flexible legs.”
Leo tisked and grabbed Finn's hands where they were making their way towards his butt and settled them further down towards his knees. “Stop that, there are children,” he chastised, but he was biting back a smile and blushing.
“Mm,” Finn hummed, leaning in to bite at Leo's jaw. “Sexy, sexy legs.”
“Are you pretending you're not hearing this?” Remus asked.
“Yes,” Cole said. “Oh my God, yes.”
“Rouge,” Logan scolded. “We don't want to make them uncomfortable.”
“Well, then,” Finn said. He let out a grunt and stood, hoisting Leo up underneath his thighs. “We will be taking this party elsewhere. Where’s the pool? Are there tiny children in it yet? We've got a change of clothes in the car.”
Leo was laughing. “Finn, no-”
But Finn was already off walking across the grass. He drew some eyes, a few surprised looks at first, but then Logan watched as people smiled as they watched Leo and Finn laughing, Leo's hands laced in Finn's hair. Logan bit his knuckle around a grin as he watched them go.
“Mon Dieu, that was painful,” Sirius said. “I don't even want to know what you're like behind closed doors.”
Logan raised his eyebrows at him. “Non, you don't.”
Sirius groaned and fell into Remus, who just kissed his head. “Baby, you set yourself up so well every time. You should have learned by now.”
“This is supposed to be a family friendly party,” Cole said. “How does it always turn out like this?”
Sirius glared at Logan. “Because the Cubs are dirty.”
Logan winked at him, which definitely didn't thwart his ideas, and stood to follow the sound of his boyfriends’ laughter.

Finn loved Logan and Leo at parties. He loved the way that, when he himself wandered off to socialize, Logan automatically tucked himself into Leo's side, content to just watch as Leo charmed whoever he was speaking to with his wit and his smile and that special goodness that Finn and Logan adored.
Tonight however, on the rooftop of a New York City bar, it seemed that Logan’s social battery had somehow activated itself.
He'd definitely had too much to drink- Finn could tell by the way his face flushed and by the way he every so often gripped Leo's jaw to bring him down into some kisses that would have been way too obscene during the day. But during the night, in the middle of summer, surrounded by other tipsy people- well, Finn, for one, was really enjoying the show.
“You know,” Natalie said from beside him at the bar. “I used to think that Logan was just a shy little grump.” Her eyebrows raised even higher when Logan took Leo's lip between his teeth, Leo shaking his head at him fondly with wide eyes when he pulled away. “But now I know that he’s a loud grump who needs just the right amount of tequila to bring him out of his shell.” She winced when Logan interrupted Leo talking to Alex to bring him down into another deep kiss. “Sheesh, maybe too much out of his shell.”
Finn smiled. “Yeah, those shots were not a good idea. I'm surprised he even did them.”
“I'm regretting buying him them.” Natalie rapped her knuckles on the bar top. “So, Freckle, how's it hangin'? Thanks for coming out with us tonight. Alex really needed to be taken for a walk.”
Finn laughed. “Yeah, we can't be inside for too long. What'd he do?”
Natalie counted off on her fingers. “Claimed he was bored, cleaned the kitchen, claimed he was bored again, cleaned the bathroom, baked brownies, fell asleep on Kasey for a weird twenty minutes, went for a run, claimed he was bored another time, then was tapping his fingers all through dinner when we were watching the Open.” She sighed. “And this was all by 5 p.m.”
“Huh,” Finn hummed. “To be fair to him, sounds like a pretty empty day.”
Natalie just looked at him, then rolled her eyes over to where the bar tender was coming with their drinks. “You boys are both crazy.” She thanked the bar tender, then picked up her tray. “C'mon. Maybe if we give them enough alcohol, they'll be too hung over to do anything tomorrow but sleep.”
Finn snorted, picking up his own tray. “Logan might. But us O'Haras have a fast metabolism.”
“Don't fucking remind me.”
They maneuvered their way around the other people slowly, careful not to spill anything. Finn had ordered Logan a water and Leo a Dark ‘n Stormy. He got himself a Manhatten; this late in the night, he was in a sipping mood. Plus, somebody had to be sober enough to get Logan home.
“Hey, gorgeous,” Alex said with a smile, accepting his drink and a kiss on the cheek from Natalie. “Thank you.” He turned to Finn. His cheeks were flushed and his eyes a little wild- he was definitely past tipsy. “Tremzy here challenged me to an arm wrestle.”
Finn looked to Kasey, who winced with a nod. Leo had his arms wrapped around Logan, keeping his arms contained in an obvious attempt to deter the idea with cuddling. By Logan’s excited, drunken grin, it was not exactly working.
“Al,” Finn said, eyeing his brother. “Are you sure? Logan doesn't really know his own strength when he’s-”
Alex waved him off with a determined look. “I've got this.” He took a sip of his drink and cracked his knuckles, leaning forward in Kasey’s hold, who had a hand on each of Alex’s hips from behind. Alex propped his elbow up on the table. “Let’s see what you got, Lolo.”
Logan scoffed. “That's not my name.”
Alex rolled his eyes. “C’mon.”
Leo looked at Finn with raised eyebrows. Finn sighed and took a step closer, cupping Logan’s face in his hands. “Please be careful with him. He's my older brother, and he's an ass, but I do love him.”
“Hey!”
Logan just giggled in the way he only did when he was intoxicated and leaned up to kiss Finn sloppily. “Ouais, I won't break him.”
Finn kissed his forehead. “Okay. Okay, show ‘em what you got, Tremblay.”
Logan and Finn switched places, Finn leaning back into Leo's chest and Logan taking a seat opposite Alex.
“What did you get him?” Leo whispered.
“Water,” Finn said. He brought Leo's hand up to his mouth and kissed it. “I really don't want to deal with a mega hungover Logan tomorrow.”
Leo snorted quietly. “He acts like the world's ending. Le, I want soup, please. Fish, I need a massage, allez.”
Finn grinned. “I promise I'll give you lots of nice kisses if you service me.”
They snickered quietly together, Leo hiding his face in Finn's shoulder. Alex and Logan, whose hands were clasped, looked at them. “Quoi?” Logan asked. “What's so funny?”
Finn patted the top of his head. “Nothing, baby, carry on.” He smiled at the laugh Leo let out against his neck.
Logan narrowed his eyes at them, then turned back to Alex, who was focused intently. “Kase, count off,” Alex slurred.
Kasey sighed from where he was sitting behind Alex, Natalie standing next to him and running her hands through his hair. “Okay,” he said exasperatedly. “Three, two, one, go!”
“Shit,” Leo said breathlessly in Finn's ear after a moment. “Maybe this was a good idea after all.”
Indeed, Finn was inclined to agree. Logan's sharp jaw was clenched in concentration, his slightly sweaty hair curling out and fanning over his ears. Finn followed a line down from his devastating green eyes to his shoulder and back, defined in the maroon shirt he was wearing, all the way down to his arm. His bicep was bulging in a way that was not helpful in a public setting, and the veins in his forearms showed distinctly through his skin. Finn bit his lip as his face flushed. Leo must have been feeling the same way, because he pressed lingering, open-mouthed kisses to the back of Finn's neck.
“Oh, baby,” Leo said hotly, quietly. “Look at those biceps.”
Finn nodded absentmindedly, gripping hard onto where Leo's forearms were wrapped around his waist. Leo had just flattened his palms, running a hand lower on Finn's abs down to the waistline of his shorts, when Alex let out a grunt as his arm fell limp on the table.
“Allez!” Logan yelled, slapping the table with his hand.
Alex let out a defeated groan, covering his face with his hands as he fell heavily back onto Kasey's chest, Natalie carding a hand through his hair. “Fuck, that's not fair.”
“It's okay, hon,” Kasey reassured him with a kiss to his cheek. “You'll get him next time.”
Alex just groaned again.
Logan, however, stood up and moved right into Finn and Leo's space, grin a little victorious, definitely drunk, and very much in love. “Did you see?”
Leo laughed. “Yeah, honey, we saw. You beat him good.”
Logan hummed, reaching up to tug on Finn's hair. “Did you like what you saw?”
Finn guided Logan's hands down then rubbed possessively at his biceps. “Definitely. I'd like to record it next time, please, zoomed in on your arms. For alone-time material.”
Leo smacked his hip. “Since when have you ever done that alone since you started dating us?”
Finn bit back a smile and turned to kiss Leo's jaw. “You're so right, I've even got two of you.” He nosed under Leo's chin. “We can use it as material when we have alone time together while he's in New York.”
Leo sucked in a breath. Finn knew he'd got him. “That's a good point.”
Logan reached up again to grab at Finn's hand and draw his attention. “Allez, what material will I be getting, all alone in New York?”
Finn kissed him. “Anything you want, baby.”
That made Logan's eyes light up. “Ouais, then, I want a video of your hands on Leo's thighs.”
Finn nodded. “Oo, good choice. We can do that.” He reached around to pat the back of Leo’s thighs. “I love getting my hands on these sexy legs.”
Based on Logan's smile, Leo had rolled his eyes. “This is not appropriate for public consumption.”
“It sure as hell isn’t,” Finn said. He winked at Logan. “Our eyes only.”
Logan hummed happily. “Ouais, our eyes only.” He fell forward a little bit, distractedly running his hands through Finn’s hair. “I'm tired.”
Finn tilted his jaw down to bite at Logan's bicep. The muscle was firm under his teeth. “Let's finish these drinks, then we go home.”
Logan kissed him briefly. “What did you get me?”
“Water.”
Logan scoffed, letting his hands fall to his side and maneuvering to bully Finn out of the way so he could snuggle into Leo's chest. “You're no fun.”
Leo kissed his forehead appeasingly. “We are trying to avoid the hangover of the century tomorrow.”
Logan just sighed heavily.
After forcing Logan through the entire glass of water and sipping on their own drinks, Leo and Finn coaxed Logan into letting them guide him out of the bar. They waved goodbye to Natalie, Kasey, and Alex, the latter of whom was almost asleep and being half-carried by Kasey to stand up so they could leave themselves. Finn smacked his brother on the back, eliciting a huff, before tightening his other arm around Logan’s waist to help him down the stairs. Leo went in front of them, walking backwards and holding out his hands to support Logan as he wobbled.
“My Lord, honey, you are really drunk, aren't you?”
“Non,” Logan protested. “I'm not.”
“Okay, let me just let go of your hands then.”
Logan gripped Leo’s wrists tighter, his arms flexing. “Non, non, peanut, non.”
Leo just smiled fondly and bent to kiss Logan’s biceps. “C’mon, muscle man, let's go to bed.”
Finn laughed, and they helped Logan slowly down the stairs. When they got to the bottom, the lights of the noise and the city surrounding them, Finn couldn't help but push them both against the dark corner of a building, Logan stumbling a bit.
“Merde, Fish, I'm gonna fall.”
“Nuh uh,” Finn said. He pressed his hands to Logan’s hips and kissed his mouth hard. “Not while I've got you. You and your sexy arms.”
Logan laughed, resting his head against the brick. He gazed at Leo, then at Finn, a sleepy smile on his face. “I love you.”
Leo smiled back and bent to kiss him. “Love you, sweetheart.” He tugged at Logan’s hand, blue eyes playfully meeting Logan’s own. Finn was so in love with them. “Alright, it's not too far to walk. Let's get you and your sexy biceps back home.”
***
Leo hummed quietly to himself as he puttered around the kitchen, placing the lid on the pot so the taco meat could simmer. He checked on the potatoes in the oven. They still weren't near done, but they definitely weren't as raw as they had been earlier. He sighed, glancing around. The guacamole was ready, and so was the crema and the pico de gallo. He covered the bowls with the beeswax wrap Regulus had got him for his birthday and placed them in the fridge to stay cool while the rest of the dinner cooked.
He stretched, his back popping just as there was the scratching of keys in the lock. Logan walked through a few seconds later and smiled when he saw Leo. “Salut, soleil,” he said, toeing his sneakers off and sliding over to give Leo a kiss.
“Hi, sweetheart.” Leo wrapped him in a hug. “How's Sirius?”
“Good,” Logan sighed into Leo's neck. “Happy to not be an All Star again.”
Leo hummed happily into Logan's hair. “So are you. You get to come home.”
Logan made a content noise. “Where's rouge?”
“Reading in bed,” Leo said. He pulled back to hold onto Logan's hips with a smile. “He was tired after pickup yesterday and our long run this morning.”
Logan stepped on Leo's toes with a bashful smile. “And we had a late night.”
Leo nuzzled their noses. “That we did.” He tugged Logan's hand. “C'mon, let's go say hi.”
Leo held tightly to Logan's hand all the way to their bedroom. The door was opened just slightly, and there was just a reading light on. There wasn't any noise.
“Is he asleep?” Logan whispered, standing on his toes to peer over Leo’s shoulder.
Leo nodded. “I think so. We have to be so quiet.”
Logan hid his laugh in Leo's sweater-covered bicep. They stepped through as quietly as they could. Leo peered around the doorway and smiled. He felt Logan squeeze his hand.
Finn was uncharacteristically starfished on the bed, mouth open and sleeping soundly. He had a special talent for falling asleep as soon as his head hit the pillow, but even this was extreme- he normally slept on his side. Now he was flat on his back with his arms over his head. The cuffs at the bottom of his sweatpants had ridden up, as well as his gray Harvard sweatshirt, exposing the trail of red hair at the bottom of his stomach. He'd kicked one of his fuzzy socks half off his foot.
Leo could feel Logan still giggling into his arm. “Très étrange.”
“Ouais,” Leo whispered. He squeezed Logan's hand and let go, approaching the bed. He and Logan laid down on either side, hovering over to just look at him. Leo touched his cheek lightly. “He has so many freckles, even in winter.”
Logan smiled down at Finn fondly. “Oui.” He pressed a silent kiss to Finn's cheek. “I think he has more now than he did in college.”
Leo turned to catch Logan's eye. “Yeah?”
Logan nodded. “Ouais.” He gazed back down at Finn, smile still on his face. Leo loved how Logan looked at him. “I don't think I could count them all now.”
Leo got his knees under him. “Let's try.”
They counted, Leo pointing to each one and Logan saying the number in soft French with a hand stroking Finn's hair back. They grinned at one another every now and then, giggling, Logan giving Leo a kiss to keep him quiet.
They'd gotten to freckle one hundred and seventy when Finn let out a little noise, making Leo laugh. Logan had hushed him, leaning across for a soft kiss. It was with their lips pressed together that they felt Finn's chest expand with a deep breath. “Whoa.”
Leo smiled against Logan's mouth and pulled away. Finn was staring at them with parted lips. Leo stroked his cheekbone. “Hi, sweetheart.”
Finn smiled lazily and stretched. “Don't stop on my account.”
Logan huffed out a breathless laugh and leaned down to kiss Finn on the mouth. “Salut, rouge.”
“Mm,” Finn said, reaching a hand up to rub up and down Logan's ribs. “Hi, baby. Good day?”
“Ouais,” Logan said softly. He settled himself on his stomach with his chin on Finn's chest. “Good nap?”
Finn nodded and let out a puff of air through his lips. “Yeah. Yikes, I was tired.”
Leo's laugh made them both look at him. “You were conked out, honey. I think that's the hardest I've ever seen you sleep.”
Finn's smile widened. “Enjoy the view?”
Leo shifted to hover over him more. Finn's eyes followed the line of his body. “Definitely.” He looked at Finn's eyes in the warm lamp light and softened. “Your eyes look so pretty.”
“You think?”
Logan shifted to look down at Finn's face, too. He grinned. “Oui, they do. Like they're- comment dit-on?” He looked at Leo with questioning eyes. “Fondre?”
Leo leaned over and kissed his cheek. “To melt. They look like they're melting.”
“Ouais, melting.”
Finn was looking at them both fondly. Leo swore that if Finn's eyes weren't actually melting, they'd make Leo melt. Now, they twinkled a bit, too. “I love the way you talk to each other.”
Logan hid his face sheepishly in Finn's neck. Finn rubbed up and down his ribs and looked up at Leo with a satisfied smile. Leo smiled back and leaned down to kiss him. “Rise and shine, sweetheart. Dinner's almost ready.”
Finn just wrapped his other arm around Leo's back and dragged him down to his chest next to Logan. “Five minutes.” He turned to look at Leo with a pout. “Please?”
How could Leo say no to those eyes? To the gorgeous, star-like freckles that lined the skin around them?
“Okay. Five minutes.” He settled in against Finn's shoulder and reached his other hand out to scratch Logan's scalp, Logan humming contentedly. “But only five minutes. I worked hard on those taco bowls, and they will be spectacular.”
Finn laughed softly into Leo's hair. “I bet they will be. Your food always is.” He kissed Leo's curls. “Love you.”
“Love you,” Leo whispered. He pressed a kissed to Finn's shoulder and closed his eyes. “I love you.”
out of curiosity why are chickens your fav animal? is there a specific reason or do u just like them? another question… who on the lions do u think would have pet chickens
HAHAHAHA this is actually a really funny ask! I had chickens for YEARS growing up, for meat and eggs, and they were basically my pets (we didn't have a dog at the time). They're actually really complex and fun to learn about, in terms of caring for them. All my chickens had names and distinct personalities, right up until they passed away. I was very fond of them and their silly antics! I don't have them anymore, and I have my dog who I love more than anything or anyone, but my dream is to one day have chickens again!
Edit: I DEFINITELY imagine Leo and Thomas having chickens. And I imagine Kuny having a singular one that he keeps as a house pet and takes on walks, lol.

“Sharmall!”
“A’Horo!”
Logan and Will Morgan shared a look as Finn and Percy did their usual crazy greeting, grabbing each other by the face and chattering nonsense. It didn’t matter that they were in a private room in a fancy restaurant in Boston- they would greet each other like that anywhere.
“How are you, Tremz?” Will greeted, drawing Logan in for a hug. “Summer treating you well?”
“Ouais, all good,” he replied.
Will’s eyes darted around the room. “Where’s your other half? Or, third I guess.”
Logan grinned and pulled out his phone. “Back in New Orleans visiting his mom and dad. Look, sent us a photo of the cove he likes when he was out on his boat.”
Will peered over Logan’s shoulder and let out a breath. “Damn. Damn, that’s gorgeous. You guys heading down?”
Logan nodded, a dreamy sort of smile on his face. “Oui, tomorrow. We fly out in the morning.”
“I know that face,” Percy interrupted. He took Logan by the shoulders. “That’s your ‘loverboy’ face. Were you talking about Finn?”
“Non, Leo. Was showing Will a picture of his cove down in Louisiana.”
Percy rolled his eyes good-naturedly. “Finn just showed me the same one. Saps, the both of you.”
Finn stuck out his tongue at Percy and wrapped an arm around Logan’s waist. “You’re just jealous.”
“Nuh-uh,” Percy whined. A love-sick smile broke out over his face. “I got a Cassie Baker.”
Will snorted. “No he does not.”
“Not yet. You just wait, William, you’ll see.”
Will whispered conspiratorially. “She still hasn’t agreed to go on a date yet.”
Percy narrowed his eyes. “We are going out as friends. I told you, just you wait, I’ll woo her.” He closed his eyes and smiled. “I’ll woo her, I promise.”
“Mon Dieu,” Logan said. “You’re so bad.”
“It’s Cassie Baker, Logan.”
“I know, Perce.”
“You’ve got a Finn and a Leo now!” Percy exclaimed. “You’re all set- it’s my turn to have a Cassie. Or for her to have me, I’m not picky.”
Finn laughed. “I think it’s a mutual thing.” He jerked his head to the bar. “Let’s go get a drink, ten. We’ll make the rounds.”
Logan was glad to have Finn by his side at events like this. Even more so now that they were together. Before, he and Finn had to do almost an equal amount of sharing about their lives, even if Finn was the one to break the ice with others. Now, their life was so intertwined that Logan didn’t need to say anything if he didn’t want to. He contributed the odd comment, but mostly let Finn take the lead with an arm wrapped around his waist. Finn didn’t let go of him at all, always a hand on him, as he caught up with their old teammates and shared bits of their adult lives.
Best of all, Logan thought, they now got to talk about Leo.
“Yeah, I don’t know either, Max,” Finn laughed. He was talking with Max and Nathaniel, two of their former teammates that had graduated the year before Finn. They were still roomates in a town in Massachussetts, working as teachers and high school coaches. “I asked his dad once, and he just said that they got lucky he had so many good players in the program at the time. Not much hockey in Louisiana.” Finn drew Logan in closer with a hand around his hip. “We’re pretty grateful, though.”
“I bet you are,” Max smiled. He had always had such a genuine smile, his eyes crinkling up at the corners. “You guys got any plans for the summer?”
“Well, we’re off to New Orleans tomorrow. Going to train there for a couple weeks, soak up the sun. Hot as hell, though, my God. You’d probably like it, actually.”
Nathaniel laughed. “He would. He still complains about the cold all winter, you wouldn’t believe.”
“Hey, I was raised in North Carolina. I was not prepared for the cold.”
Finn nodded eagerly and laughed. “Neither was Le. We brought him snowshoeing this past winter and he was not a fan.”
“I can imagine,” Max said.
They made their rounds in a similar fashion, discussing summer plans, sharing photos of their lives post-college. Some of their teammates were married, others had dogs, some were in grad school. It made Logan feel a little less out of place- hockey was love, and hockey was wonderful, but his life was so much more than that now. It felt good to tell people.
“And this was when we went to France last summer.” Finn was now talking with Will’s wife, Ray, about some of the food they had tried in their travels. She was a chef by trade, and was always curious. “Leo makes ratatouille all the time now, and the tuna there was to die for.”
Ray laughed. “You know, I don’t think I’ve heard how you two have been doing at all.”
“Quoi?” Logan asked, confused. It was some of the first he’d contributed to the conversation. “What do you mean?”
She smiled. “First we talk about vacation plans, and all you can talk about is New Orleans. Then we talk about food plans during the season, so I can get some ideas to help Will, and all I hear about is how good of a cook your Leo is- who I would very much like to meet officially, by the way. And even now, when I ask about the traditional cuisine you guys tried- because I’m trying to improve my French cooking repertoire for a client- all I hear about is how Leo recreated all the dishes at your house.”
Finn, for the first time all night, spluttered, blushing hard. “Well- we… sorry, sorry, we didn’t-”
Ray waved her hand. “It’s okay. He must be wonderful, if you talk about him like that.” She tilted her head. “Everyone deserves to have someone talk about them like that.” She laughed. “Or someones.”
“Well,” Logan said. “He’s- he is wonderful.” He shrugged. “C’est notre soleil.”
“What?” she asked.
“Sunshine,” Finn answered. He was still red, but smiling softly. “He’s our sunshine.”
“God,” Ray laughed. “You two are romantics. I wish Will talked about me like that.”
Logan smiled at her. “He does. All the time, he talks about you and your little Noah.”
She brightened. “Really?” Her eyes strayed somewhere over his shoulder, and Logan looked back to find her gazing at Will, who was laughing with the bartender. “Well, like I said. Everyone deserves someone like that.” She rapped her knuckles on the table they were standing beside. “Excuse me, boys. It was lovely to catch up.”
“Yeah,” Finn said. “Hey, we’ll meet for dinner next time we’re in the city, okay?”
Ray winked. “Count on it. And bring your sunshine, please.” She ran a hand down Logan’s shoulder and walked over and into Will’s waiting arms.
Logan watched them for a second fondly, then jumped a little as his phone buzzed in his pocket. He took it out and smiled up at Finn. “Soleil.”
“Oo,” Finn said eagerly. He kissed Logan’s forehead. “What’d he send? A sexy photo?”
Logan opened up their groupchat to find a picture of Leo driving his family boat, looking back over his shoulder to smile at the camera. He was laughing, sunglasses pushed up into his blonde curls in the dying evening light, tall and tan and so gorgeous that Logan’s heart just melted.
Mama insisted I send this to you, his message said. Went for an evening boat ride with her and dad. I love you, sweethearts, I hope you’re having fun at your party! Call me when you get to the hotel room. <3
Logan watched Finn’s unabashed smile creep over his face, the same one that he was sure he currently wore. Finn pushed a hand under Logan’s shirt, untucking it from his pants slightly to get at his warm skin. “Shit, he’s so gorgeous. We’re so lucky.”
“Ouais, we are,” Logan sighed. He leaned his head against Finn’s shoulder and leaned up to kiss his jaw. “I’m very lucky.”
Finn turned just enough to smile and kiss him softly. “Well, then, me, too.” He nudged their noses together. “I got you. I got you and some sunshine.”
“All the sunshine.”
“Yeah, all of it.” Finn sighed and looked at the photo again. “All of the sunshine.”
Logan laced their fingers together. “Want to go back and call him?”
Finn looked around the room and nodded. “I think we’ve done our rounds.” He ducked closer to kiss Logan a bit more firmly. “Time to say goodbye and have you both all to myself.”
“Ouais,” Logan laughed. “Ouais, let’s say goodbye.”
They said their goodbyes quickly and walked the few blocks back to the hotel they were renting. Immediately upon closing their room door behind them, they were unbuttoning their shirts and Finn clicked on Leo’s contact on their iPad, setting it against the pillows. Leo’s face, when he answered, was sun-kissed and happy, his smile enough to warm Logan through.
“Hi sweethearts,” he said. “Good party?”
“Ouais,” Logan answered. He looked to Finn’s lovestruck expression and knew he was thinking exactly the same thing. He turned back to Leo and smiled. “Ouais, soleil. But we missed our sunshine.” He settled himself more on top of the covers to get a full view of Leo’s sparkling blue eyes and white smile. “Allez,” he sighed happily. He was so, so in love. “We love you. We miss you and we love you so much. Now, tell us about your day.”
Absolutely live for finnlo reassuring leo that they don’t want to get married without him I think something like that happened in vaincre didn’t it? I have been looking for the name of a fic that had that in it or the chapter of vaincre that happened in for ages and I can never find it
Hi there! I believe it's the same chapter that Finn gets a concussion (yikes!). So probably one of the later May chapters. :)
As someone from the south my southern accent comes out STRONGLY when I’m tired so I can just imagine leo talking with a deep drawl after a game or on the bus ride home LOL! You’re so amazing and I love ur work so much pls never stop
This was actually a really cool prompt, because I got to do some research on NOLA accents! They're kind of similar to NYC ones in many ways, and distinct from the stereotypical Southern US ones. I noticed, particularly, that the way that lots of people pronounce '-ing' is not necessarily with a hard 'n' sound like '-in', nor a hard 'ng' sound. It's kind of like in the Northeast, where we don't really touch our tongues to the roof of our mouths right behind our teeth, but don't touch the back of our tongues to the back of our throat- it's a mix between the two. It's like a soft '-ing' sound with the same casual feeling of '-in', if that makes sense? It also depends on the starting sound of the word following the word ending in '-ing', so I also tried to represent that when I as writing. There was a lot of talking to myself, haha!
There's also obviously a bunch of different NOLA accents, depending on the area of the city you live in, your economic class, and your race, so I tried to emulate Leo's based on what we know about him and the characterization of him and his family in the SW universe. I hope I did it justice, and if I didn't, please let me know so I can learn more!

Leo turned up towards to the Louisiana sun and took a deep breath. It was warm on his face and neck, and the air smelled like home: slightly salty, heavy, and a little humid in the midday heat. He smiled and looked out over the front of the boat. His cove was up ahead, all secluded and shadowed, as if waiting for him and his boys. He realized they weren’t beside him, and turned around to look at the seats. They liked to sit there and watch him, they said, Finn usually with Logan in his lap or an arm around his shoulders. After a few minutes, Logan would inevitably come up to stand beside Leo and kiss his shoulder, just like he had the first time they’d gone out there. Finn took a photo every time, without fail. He had a special album on his phone, Leo knew, and the most recent one was his screen saver.
But when Leo turned around fully, they weren’t there. He jerked his head around. They weren’t anywhere. He furrowed his eyebrows, confused- he’d definitely undone the ropes with Logan, he was sure of it. And Finn had definitely squeezed his hips and pressed a kiss to his cheek in thanks after Leo helped him on the boat. All of their lifejackets were still there, too, nestled up right where they normally sat, in case of an emergency. Panic rose in Leo’s throat, and his breathing started to quicken. Where were they? They couldn’t have gone overboard, Leo would never forgive himself if-
Soleil.
Leo jerked his head up. Logan’s voice, like a whisper on the wind.
Soleil, réveille-toi, mon amour.
“Logan?” Leo asked. He tilted his head up to the sky. “Lo. Logan, where-”
Sh, sh, it’s alright. Open your eyes for me, mon coeur.
With a start, Leo jerked awake. His face was squished in the pillow, his hipbones pressing into something soft underneath him. “What-”
“Bon matin, Le.”
Leo squinted, and then a face came into view. Green. Green eyes. Leo gasped. “Lo.”
Logan was laughing softly. “Salut, mon coeur.” He was stretched out beside Leo on their bed, athletic and strong body all on display for Leo to gaze at. “You were talking in your sleep.”
“I- what-” Leo stammered. He shifted his body, feeling the mattress underneath his hips. “I been- been lookin’ for you for ages.”
Logan shuffled in closer and put a hand on Leo’s back. “Quoi? Why were you looking for us?”
Leo made a distressed sound low in his throat. “You left the boat.”
Logan’s brow furrowed. “Quoi?”
“You left the boat,” Leo continued. “We were gonna pass by my cove, ya know? Was thinking ‘bout-” He interrupted himself with a yawn. “Was thinking ‘bout kissing you- give you a passion mark.”
“A what?”
“A passion mark.”
“Soleil, I have no idea what that is.”
Leo huffed. “Ici,” he said, tugging at Logan’s arm. Logan shifted even closer and hissed in surprise when Leo leaned in and began sucking on his neck. He was propped on his elbow, hovering over with Logan’s head underneath him on the pillows. Logan reached up with his outside hand to scratch at Leo’s curls and hummed into the sheets. Leo in turn made a noise against his skin, hand running down Logan’s soft torso. He pulled off gently and surveyed his work. “Bon.”
“Soleil,” Logan said, face smushed a little. He was laughing. “Soleil, I’m stuck.”
“Hm,” Leo replied. “Can do somethin’ ‘bout it, honey.”
Logan laughed even harder as Leo straighted their twisted bodies by rolling over completely and flopping on Logan’s chest. Logan scratched his nails gently up and down Leo’s back. “Your accent always sounds so much stronger in the morning, mon coeur.”
“So does yours,” Leo retorted from his place against Logan’s neck. He placed his mouth back against the skin and sucked gently. Logan’s chest rose and fell with a content sigh, his hands still working their way up Leo’s shoulders.
Suddenly, the door to their bedroom opened. Leo didn’t remove himself from where he was, but he could hear Finn’s breath hitch when he saw them.
“Yeah, mom,” Finn said. He must have been on his weekly phone call with his parents. “Yes, I’ll tell them you said that.” A pause and a scoff. “Nuh-uh, we feed him, too.” Finn let out an exasperated sigh. “Yes, mom, okay. Okay, yeah, send it to me. I can work a stove you know.” Leo peeked his eye out to look at him. There was more chatter on the other end of the line, and then Finn laughed. “Yes, I know. Okay. Okay, I love you. Tell dad I say hi. Love you, ‘kay, bye.” Finn hung up and then let out a big sigh. His gaze on them was tired, but he was smiling. “Oh man, I need to lie down.”
Logan laughed. “You’ve barely gotten up.”
“No,” Finn said. The bed shifted as he crawled under the covers. “I’ve been up since the early morning, but some people have been being sleepy-heads.”
Logan shoved him slightly. “I was up with Leo.”
Finn turned his adoring eyes on Leo and leaned down to kiss his forehead. “I know, I’m sorry baby. Trouble sleeping?”
“Mm-hm,” Leo said. He settled down with his cheek against Logan’s shoulder, closing his eyes and moving into the feeling of Finn’s hand stroking his hair back. “Kept havin’ weird dreams. Lost y’all when we were passin’ by my cove.”
“When we were what?” Finn asked. His voice sounded confused.
Leo huffed slightly. “When we were passin’ by my cove. On the boat.” He opened his eyes again. “How’s your mama’n’em?”
Finn smiled. “Oh, I see. You’re that tired, hm? Last night's game wear you out?” Leo just blinked slowly. Finn kissed his forehead again. “Oh, you’re really exhausted, sweetheart. Why don’t you go back to sleep, huh? We got a day off.”
“Non,” Leo said defiantly. It was a little like what Logan would say, lovingly grumpy. “Non, I wanna stay here and talk.” He yawned. “Don’t wanna lose you on the boat again.”
Logan grinned into the top of his head. “Non, soleil. You’re not losing us on a boat.”
Leo kissed his chest, then looked at Finn again. “So, how’s your mama’n’em?”
“Well,” Finn started. “No ‘n’em’ today, just mom.” He settled himself firmly against them with a leg thrown over their bodes. He took one of Leo’s bouncy curls between his fingers. “She said she’d send me her bolognese recipe. Said it was ‘foolproof’, and that I should cook you dinner tonight because you feed me too much.” He scoffed. “I told her I know how to work a stove. And that I do feed you- sometimes.”
Leo smiled. “Ouais, you do. But I like cooking for ya.”
“Ouais,” Logan said. “Mais, we can do it for you.” He nuzzled Leo’s head. “Let’s treat you today, hm? Go for a walk around the park that you like, outside the city. Go swimming in the swimming hole.” He paused and squeeze Leo tighter. “How does that sound, mon soleil?”
“Yeah,” Leo nodded. “Yeah, okay.
“Sounds perfect, baby,” Finn said. He leaned in for a quick kiss from Logan. When he pulled back, his eyebrows furrowed, then a smile broke over his face. “Looks like somebody already got to you this morning, huh?” He leaned down to kiss over the mark that Leo had left.
Logan made a happy little sound. “Ouais. It’s a- what did you call it, soleil?”
“A passion mark,” Leo sighed. He snuggled further down into Logan. “‘Cause I love ya. Love ya both.”
“Je t’aime.” Logan settled back into the pillows. He sounded like he was half asleep again.
“Love you,” Finn whispered. He buried himself in next to them. “Love you, love you, love you. My sexy boys with sexy accents.”
Leo and Logan just laughed, shaking the bed beneath them. The day ahead felt a little less tiring now.

“Sweetheart!” Leo called from their bedroom, holding a towel around his hips. “I’m just gonna get changed, then when Lo’s back we can all go.”
“Wait!”
There was the thunderous thudding of footsteps then Finn was sliding through their bedroom door on his socks, slipping a bit on the hardwood. Leo blinked hard and held out a hand to catch him. “Whoa.”
“Sorry.” He skipped around and jumped dramatically onto the bed, sitting straight-backed on the edge with his hands folded, a goofy smile on his face. “Okay, ready.”
Leo laughed, confused. “What?”
“I said, I’m ready. For you to get changed.”
“Oh, you’re ready, are you?” Leo teased. He dropped his towel and turned around to dig through their underwear drawer. When he got no response, he turned his head to look at Finn again over his shoulder. “Honey?”
“Hm?” Finn’s eyes were very obviously not focused on Leo’s face. “Sorry, what?”
Leo smiled, pulling on a pair of boxers- and ignoring Finn’s sad whine- before going to stand in between his thighs. He cupped his face gently. “I love you.”
Finn’s eyes were the warmest brown, and his smile made Leo feel light. “I love you, too.” He wrapped his arms tightly around Leo’s waist and pressed his face into his chest with a squeeze. “You’re so beautiful.”
Leo made a happy sound and scratched a hand through Finn’s hair. He placed a kiss on the top of his head. “So are you.” He gasped at Finn’s playful bite to the skin right beside his nipple. “Ouch.”
“Mm,” Finn hummed, eyes playful. “I could just eat you up. Can I, please?”
“No time.”
“You sure? We could-”
But he was interrupted by the sound of keys scratching at the door, then the clink of them plopping into a bowl.
“Salut, I’m home!” Logan called.
Finn gasped. “Wait!” He stood and kissed Leo quickly. “Stay right here, don’t move a muscle. I don’t wanna see another piece of clothing on you.”
“Okay?”
“‘Be right back!” Finn sing-songed, then he was sliding back out the door. Leo heard him talking to Logan in the living room. “Hey, baby, you need to change?”
“Ouais, I need to put on something nicer, I-”
“Great! Let’s go.”
A laugh. “Rouge-”
Then Finn was slipping once more through the doorway, Logan in tow and stumbling behind him. They were both laughing. Logan’s posture relaxed when he saw Leo, smile going soft. “Salut.”
“Hi.”
“Oh-kay!” Finn once again jumped dramatically onto the bed, this time sat up against the pillows with his feet crossed. He waved his hand with a flourish, rings catching the light for a moment, and dipped his head. “You may proceed.”
Logan laughed, confused. “Quoi?”
“I said, you may proceed. With the changing of clothes.” He folded his hands in his lap. “I am but a mere spectator.”
Logan looked to Leo, but Leo just shrugged. “I was just told to not put a shirt on.”
Logan laughed. “Well,” he said, looking Leo up and down. “I support that.”
Leo rolled his eyes playfully. “Shut up.”
“Non, non.” Logan stepped into his space. He took his hand and kissed his wedding band and engagement ring, then looked up with content green eyes. “I didn’t get a kiss yet.”
Leo smiled against his mouth and kissed him softly. “Hi.”
“Hi.”
“Hi.” Finn was now twiddling his thumbs. “May we please continue with the undressing?”
Logan tisked. “I thought we were changing.”
“Ugh,” Finn groaned. “Stupid dinner party.”
Logan shook his head fondly, reaching behind himself to pull his shirt off. “The kids are excited, though, they spent the whole day at Sirius’ just talking about the lamb Celeste is cooking.”
“The Dumais are not kids anymore, honey,” Leo pointed out, now searching for his nice pants.
“Yes they are, Knutty,” Logan protested, unbuttoning his shorts. “They’re still kids.”
“Kids in high school. And college.”
“Non.”
A low whistle sounded from the bed, interrupting their movements. “Goddamn. This view never gets old.”
Leo and Logan both turned to look at Finn, who was biting his lip around a grin, warm eyes roving all over their bodies. He looked kind of like a kid on Christmas, Leo thought as he made to step into his pants.
“Wait,” Finn said suddenly. “Wait, not yet.”
Leo clucked his tongue. “Finn, we’ve gotta get dressed. And plus, you’ve seen us naked a thousand times, it’s not like it’s anything new.”
“Actually,” Finn responded, holding a singular finger up. “I see you naked about three times a day, roughly, so that’s way more than a thousand times in a single year. And we’ve been together for, what, how many years? So it’s probably closer to ten thousand by now.” He shifted to the edge of the bed and stood, coming to take the pants from Leo’s hands and put them on the dresser. “But that’s not the point.” He wrapped his arms gently around Leo’s waist. “Baby, I could see you naked a billion times and I would never get enough of you. I just…” He rubbed a hand up and down Leo’s ribs with a smile. “I love your bodies so much.”
Leo felt his cheeks heat. “Oh.”
“Yeah, oh. C’mere,” Finn said, opening an arm for Logan to tuck into his side. “Do you want to know what my favorite part of sex is?”
“Wow, that took a turn,” Leo said drily. “Okay?”
“I love,” Finn started. “The beginning and the end. When I just get to touch you, to hold you. Like, forget the whole, like, giving you pleasure- though I am a big fan of that as you well know. Big fan. Huge.”
Logan laughed into Finn’s jaw, nuzzling his skin with his nose. “Allez.”
Finn let out a sigh and pressed his nose into Logan’s hair, gentle eyes peeking out at Leo. “You could tell me you never wanted to have sex again and I would still, every morning and every night, want to kiss every inch of you.” As if to emphasize his point, he pressed a kiss to Logan’s temple, then one to Leo’s cheek. “I love the way your waists fit in my hands. The way your legs wrap around me. The strong muscles of your chests, the soft warmth of your skin.”
Leo felt his eyes suddenly get a little warm and he blinked hard. An insecure feeling worked its way up his throat. “Finn.”
Finn gripped him harder around the waist. “No, baby, don’t cry.” He kissed a tear that fell down Leo’s cheek, then his lips a few times for good measure. “Sunshine, don’t cry.”
“No, it’s just-” Leo sniffed, reaching up to wipe under his eyes. “Our bodies aren’t always going to look like this.”
“And that’s okay,” Finn whispered, resting their foreheads together. “Baby, that’s okay.” He let out a shaky sigh. “I can’t think of any way your body could look and I wouldn’t love it just as much as I do now.”
“Mon soleil,” Logan whispered. He had turned and was now tucked into Leo’s side, his back at an angle against Finn’s chest.. “You’ll always be so beautiful.”
“Yeah,” Finn agreed. “You both-” His breath hitched, and he smiled. “I’m gonna love you for the rest of our lives. And I will love everything about you, always, no matter what. Okay?”
Leo nodded. He felt more settled with the heat of them against him. “Okay.” He kissed Finn softly, then Logan. “I love you,” he mumbled against Logan’s mouth.
“Je t’aime,” Logan sighed. Leo wrapped an arm around his waist to feel his skin. “Mm, you’re cold.”
Leo smiled. “I always am.”
“Ici.” Logan wiggled himself further in between them to more squarely press himself into Leo’s chest.
Finn scoffed. “Um, excuse me,” he said, leaning down to bite Logan’s shoulder. “This is group cuddle time, not ‘hog Leo’ time.”
“But he’s cold.”
Leo smiled sheepishly over Logan’s head, and Finn narrowed his eyes. “Fine.” He bent to put his mouth by Logan’s ear. “But I’m gonna get you for this Tremblay.”
Leo felt Logan’s grin against his skin. “Yes, please.”
Finn let out a slightly frustrated breath. “We cannot lose track of ourselves here, okay?”
“I didn’t say anything.”
“Uh, yes you did, ten, and it is not helping the situation.”
Leo raised his eyebrows playfully. “What situation?”
Finn looked at him as if it was obvious. “The situation I always find myself in when I see you two naked.”
“Oo,” Leo teased. “Sounds fun.”
“Yes, normally, when I have hours to act on it.” He slapped Logan’s ass. “But we’ve got a party to get to, so chop chop. Unfortunately, clothes must go on.” He took a step back to look them over and let out a heavy breath. “Goddamn. Look at my sexy husbands.”
Leo grinned into Logan’s hair and kissed his head quickly. “Okay. Clothes.”
Logan nodded. “Clothes.”
“Wait!” Finn, for a final time, jumped on the bed with a happy sound. When he was settled again, he kicked his feet excitedly. “Okay, go.”
Leo and Logan just grinned at each other, then pulled on their pants.
Masterlist says soulmate au part 1?!?? DOES THIS MEAN ITS GONNA BE CONTINUED?? CAUSE THAT WAS MY ASK IM SO HAPPY IT WAS EVERYTHING I WANTED
JUST POSTED, HOPE YOU LIKE! If you want another part, let me know of a prompt idea!
One of ur asks by an anon said something like “Leo’s always the comforter” and I agree but it’s because he’s SO GOOD AT COMFORTING!! He’s so perceptive and caring and SO SO SWEET HE ALWAYS KNOWS WHAT TO SAY!!! so can we get some instances of Leo being the perfect boyfriend/husband to his boys?? They deserve it so much !(just like he deserves them!)
- sincerely the captain of the “LEO KNUT IS A *PERFECT* ANGEL” ship
I am SO glad for this ask, because I've had this idea in my head for a while that Finn LOVES forever, but he doesn't know if his boys are as enthusiastic as him, if that makes sense? Like, he is so obsessed with them, and becomes more obsessed with them each day, like he's stuck in this eternal honeymoon phase, and he's worried that they don't feel as fiercely as he does. He knows they love him, OBVIOUSLY, and that they always will, but he's worried this passion that he feels isn't reciprocated and that his boys won't be satisfied emotionally, physically, and mentally in the way he knows he will always be.
And who better to comfort him than a little (tall) ray of sunshine (Logan is there, too, duh, but he's a sleepy head who hasn't had coffee, so he's not much help for a few minutes, haha!)?
So after a REALLY long introduction, have some conflicted Harzy and a fondly exasperated nutter butter (and a tired grumpy Tremz). :)
TW: mentions of nefarious activities and HEALTHY DISCUSSION about them, but nothing explicit, as per!

P.S. Anon, you're SO FUNNY for the "leo is a ____ angel" hashtag shout out, haha! I try and do a different one each post. I think I've done it for all but two or three, and it's so fun to think of them!
“Le, are you bored?”
Leo looked up from his, frankly perfect, hangover breakfast, to look Finn in the eye. “Huh?”
“Like, are you- I don’t know, bored of this?”
Leo took another bit of his pancake and a piece of bacon. “Of what, sweetheart?”
There was a brief silence in which Finn bit the inside of his cheek nervously. “Us?”
“Woah.” Leo’s fork clattered against his plate. He spun in his high top chair to face Finn directly and take his hands. “Woah, honey, no. Where is this coming from?”
Finn let out a nervous breath and looked down into his lap. “When you- yesterday, at the festival, during the Wallows set…” He shrugged. “I don’t know, you just sang that one song really loud? With Regulus?”
“‘Cause it’s a good song honey. And Reg loves that band.”
Finn nodded. “I know. I know, but it just got me thinking…” He looked up at Leo through his lashes with worried brown eyes. “Are you bored? In this relationship?” His breath hitched. “I don’t want you to be bored.”
Despite himself, Leo smiled. “Oh, honey no.” He drew Finn into a hug. “No, Finn, of course I’m not bored. That’s not possible with you around.” He kissed the side of Finn’s head. “Did you think that I was?”
Finn shrugged. “I don’t know. You just sang the song really excitedly.”
Leo laughed. “‘Cause it’s a good song, honey, like I said. I really liked it in high school.”
“Yeah, but- you’d tell me if you’re bored, right, peanut?”
“Oh, you’re so sweet.” Leo pulled back to hold Finn’s face in his hands. His cheeks were a little wet under Leo’s lips when he kissed them. “Of course I would, baby, but I’m telling you, that’s not gonna happen.” He smiled gently. “You’re really worried about this, aren’t you?”
Finn nodded, his mouth forming a little pout. “Yeah.” He looked at Leo’s face for a moment, his fingers twitching on Leo’s back. “And you don’t- you don’t get bored during sex, do you?”
Leo laughed, tucking Finn’s face into his neck once more. “Oh, baby.”
“It’s not funny!”
“No, no, it’s not, sweetheart, I’m sorry.” Leo bit his lip against a grin as Finn let out another wet sound into his neck. “Finn, baby, I promise I don’t get bored. You’re so good to me.”
“Yeah?”
“Of course.” He squeezed Finn tighter. “You make me feel so good, baby, every time.” He turned his head to whisper in Finn’s ear. “And if something doesn’t feel so good, or we don’t want something, we talk and we change it up. Or we try something new. You know Lo and I are especially partial to that vibrator you got us.”
Finn laughed wetly into his neck and pressed into Leo harder. “Yeah, you are.” He let out a sigh. “It’s just- we haven’t had sex in a while.”
Leo snorted. “Like, five days, sweetheart.”
“But that’s a long time.”
“Eternity.”
Finn pinched his side and sighed. “I just want to make sure everything’s okay.”
Leo felt himself soften. “Yeah, baby, it’s okay. We were just really busy this week, I think, with your students’ exams, and Lo and I starting summer training and deep cleaning the apartment. And then we had the festival the past few days, and now we’re all hungover. It just happens, sometimes.”
“It’s still too long.”
“I agree,” Leo placated, cupping the back of Finn’s head gently. “Way too long.” After a moment of silence, Leo kissed Finn’s shoulder. “Tell you what, sweetheart. Let’s eat and go for a walk, let ourselves work off this hangover, then we’ll spend the next few days just doing nothing but being together, okay? I’ll take you both to that nice steak restaurant you like tonight, then we’ll come back here and see how we feel. And if we want to have sex, we have sex, and if we don’t, we don’t.” He grinned against Finn’s jaw and bit it. “But I have a feeling it’ll be the former.”
Finn laughed and nodded, pulling back to wipe his flushed cheeks. “Yeah, me, too.” He leaned forward and kissed Leo gently, then took his hands and kissed his rings. “Thank you, Le, baby. I’m sorry I was so worried.”
Leo shook his head. “Don’t be, sweetheart, it’s okay. Lo and I are so lucky to have a husband who cares about our pleasure so much.” He squeezed Finn’s fingers and touched their temples together. “But you don’t have to worry, Finn. We’ll be old and gray and still want you.”
Finn kissed him quickly. “Promise?”
“Promise.” Leo kissed him once, twice, three more times before pulling back and turning towards his plate. “Now, eat your breakfast, c’mon. Lo will wake up soon, then we can get ready and go for our walk.”
Finn nodded. “Okay.” He bumped his head against Leo’s shoulder. “I love you.”
Leo kissed the top of his head. “I love you, too.”
From behind them, there were footsteps, and a few seconds later Leo felt two arms come and wrap around his shoulders. A head bumped into the back of his neck with a groan. “Café.”
Leo smiled and turned to kiss Logan’s forehead. “In the coffee maker, sweetheart. I put your plate in the oven to keep it warm.”
“Merci.” Logan came around to kiss Leo slowly, then Finn, slumping into his side with another groan. “Ça va?”
“Yeah.” Finn rested their heads together and wrapped an arm around Logan’s waist. He looked up at Leo. “Love you.”
“Mm, je t’aime.” Logan stretched and went to go pour his coffee and get his plate. “What are we doing today?”
“Each other, hopefully.” Leo jumped when Logan accidentally slammed the oven door shut with a bang then straightened, blinking hard. He laughed at him. “Just kidding. Well, kind of.” Leo settled a hand on Finn’s thigh and rubbed. “It’s just been a while. We were thinking of going for a walk today, then I’ll take you out for dinner at the nice steak place. Sound good?”
“Ouais,” Logan nodded. He was still flicking his eyes between them. “But what about-?”
Leo winked. “That can happen after if you want.”
Logan moved his head more rapidly now. “Ouais, I want.” He sighed and walked around the counter again to set his plate down, then practically fell against Leo’s side. “It’s been forever. I want you.”
Leo shook his head fondly. “You’re so dramatic.” He kissed Logan’s cheek and patted his hip firmly. “C’mon, sweetheart, go sit and eat. We’ve got a long day ahead of us.”
Logan sighed and went to sit on Finn’s other side, moaning when he took a bite of pancake and eggs. “Délicieux.”
Leo smiled at Logan for a moment before looking at Finn. “Good?”
Finn nodded, a small smile on his face. “Good. I’m good.” He considered for a second before kissing Leo’s shoulder. “Are you good?”
Leo nodded. “I’m so good, baby. I’m so good.”
“Good.”
“What is going on?”
Leo and Finn turned to look at Logan, who was shoveling food in his mouth so fast that Leo was certain he wasn’t even chewing. They laughed and Finn nudged him. “We’ll get some food in you first and tell you.”
“Mm, ouais.” Logan swallowed and looked up at them. “Are you sure we can’t have sex before our walk and after dinner?”
Leo grinned mischievously. He looked at Finn, winked, then stood and began to walk towards the bathroom. “You know, I think a shower is just what I need right now.”
There was a curse from them both as they both tried to finish eating. Leo had just pulled his shirt off when forks were clinking and there was the sound of plates being put in the sink. He smiled to himself and turned the shower on.
“Boys, I’m getting in!”
And at the sound of thudding footsteps, Leo felt his chest warm and turned his face up to the spray, yearning for the moment where he felt their skin on his.
No, he thought to himself. No, he’d never get bored of this.
If you don't know how to do a life skill, like cooking, then you should learn so your partner can have a break. At least, that's what Logan and Finn did. And they're getting there, in time. Leo just loves that they try for him, in all their honest, loving chaos. :)
Enjoy our Lovernut getting a little break and being treated with some high-end breakfast for dinner!! All credits to @lumosinlove !!
“Oi,” Finn said. “Watch it with the whisk, Tremblay.”
“Non, you watch it,” Logan retorted. “I need space, allez.”
“There is no more space, and I’m the one with the butter you need, anyways.”
Logan grumbled in French, but pressed a kiss to Finn’s shoulder and moved out of the way.
Leo smiled from his spot on the couch. It was mid-October, the air crisp and cool for the start of his second season as a Lion. They had had a light morning practice and were sent home with instructions for an ‘active rest day’ before their crazy schedule the following week; Logan and Finn had surprised him, insisting that they could make a ‘nice homemade meal, sunshine’ and he could have a day off. The sentiment was nice, Leo thought, but the execution was- questionable.
“Can I please come see what you’re doing?” he called.
“No!” came Finn’s voice. “Sit there and look gorgeous, please. We’ll be done soon.”
“Seriously,” Leo said, making a move to get up. “It’s alright, I can help you-”
“Non,” Logan said. He jogged around the counter and into the living room, sitting heavily down in Leo’s lap. Leo fell back onto the couch with an oof and gripped Logan’s hips. “Non, now you can’t move.”
Leo raised his eyebrows. “You do realize I could just pick you-”
But Logan interrupted him with a hard kiss. “Distract.”
“Wait, that’s not fair,” Finn whined. “I can’t even watch.”
“Better hurry up then, Harz,” Logan retorted. He was leaning in to Leo once more.
Finn huffed, but Leo heard him turn back to whatever he was doing in the kitchen. Logan kissed Leo slowly and sloppily with his hands in Leo’s hair. Leo melted back into the couch cushions and sighed against Logan's mouth. He couldn't remember the last time they'd done this- kissed languidly, no pressure, no running around to games. Leo ran his hands up Logan’s warm back and held him gently. He pressed his hands lower, directing Logan’s body towards him, and felt Logan relax and fall forward just a bit. Logan sighed and pulled away slowly. His eyes were closed and his face was relaxed, his body going slightly limp in Leo’s arms. Leo coaxed him to rest his head on his shoulder, tucked against one another like two puzzle pieces. Logan’s breath was hot on Leo’s neck and his hands gentle in Leo’s hair.
“Aw, I like this,” came Finn’s voice from behind them. He came around into Leo’s field of vision and lean down to run a hand up and down Logan’s back and place a kiss to his cheek. “Hello, lovers.”
Leo smiled. “You’ve got to stop calling us that, or people are going to get some weird ideas about our relationship.”
Finn grinned back and kissed his forehead. “Let them. They’re just jealous ‘cause I’ve got two gorgeous boys to cuddle when we go to sleep.”
Leo let out a satisfied sound and closed his eyes when Logan scratched his fingers through his scalp. Logan was still heavy in his lap but leaned his head back to kiss at Finn’s jaw gently. “Salut, rouge.”
“Hi baby,” Finn said, gazing at Logan adoringly. “You hungry?”
“Ouais,” Logan replied. He leaned back and stretched his arms above his hands, and Leo placed his hands on Logan’s ribs. It made Logan smile and squint at him through his stretch. “Soleil?”
“Yeah, I’m hungry,” Leo said. He patted Logan’s thighs. “Time to see what catastrophe awaits me in my kitchen.”
“Our kitchen,” Finn said.
Leo laughed and reached a hand up to brush through Finn’s hair. “You might help pay for it, but how much do you actually use it, sweetheart?”
Finn scoffed but kissed his palm. “You ungrateful little peanut.” But he tugged at Leo’s hand insistently. “Up, let’s go. Don’t want it to get cold.”
Logan stood up with a grunt and Finn pulled Leo up from the couch with a short kiss. He ushered Leo onto a stool by the counter beside Logan, then scurried around to grab some plates. Leo furrowed his eyebrows with an amused expression. “Egg sandwiches?”
Finn scoffed. “Not just any egg sandwiches, lovernut. These egg sandwiches are special.”
“Oh?” Leo asked with a smile. “Do tell.”
“First,” Finn said, counting on his fingers. “Logan and I found the nice eggs from the farm stand that you like.”
“Ouais,” Logan nodded, resting his head on Leo’s shoulder. “Ms. Adeline says hi.”
“Right,” Finn continued. “So, fresh eggs. Scrambled with water and butter, so they’re fluffy, of course. Next, we’ve got tomatoes, arugula, and bacon. And everything is on a fresh bagel from the bakery down the street.”
“And,” Logan said. “Yours has that nice hot sauce that you brought from New Orleans.”
“Yup,” Finn agreed. Then his eyes lit up. “Oh! And we roasted and seasoned potatoes, like you taught us, Le.” He surveyed his handy work before looking up at Leo. “Good?”
But Leo was already smiling, so hard his cheeks hurt. “Thank you.” He laughed and turned to kiss Logan’s cheek hard, then reached across the counter to cup Finn’s face and kiss him, too. “Thank you. I love you. I love you so much.”
He could feel Logan’s grin against his shoulder and watched Finn’s from across him, his teeth flashing white against his freckled face. He looked pleased. “Well,” he said, his eyes flashing to Logan. “We love you, too. You always take care of us so good, and we just- wanted to return the favor, let’s say.”
“D’accord,” Logan said. He nudged Leo’s cheek with his nose. “Essayez-le.”
Leo picked up the sandwich and took a bite, then speared a potato and popped one into his mouth. He hummed, his eyes crinkling, and swallowed. “It’s good. It’s really good, thank you, sweethearts.”
“You hear that, Lo?” Finn jested. “Finally got something Knu-pproved.”
Leo rolled his eyes. “It’s not gonna catch on, Fish.”
Finn shrugged and took a bite of his own sandwich. “You don’t know that.” He nodded his head with wide eyes and turned to Logan. “You know, we didn’t do a bad job.”
“Non,” Logan agreed. He dove in for some more of his own sandwich. “It’s actually pretty good.”
Leo snorted. “Should I be concerned about the surprise in your voices?”
“Sh,” Logan hushed, but he was smiling. He kissed Leo’s shoulder. “Eat your sandwich, soleil.
Hi! I just lost my 13yo dog and been so down, but trying to think about all the amazing times we went through. Made me wonder about the cubs adopting a rescue dog, or even better, Logan maybe gifting Leo said dog, or something like it, dont know, just wanted something very lovely and cute. Thanks
Hi friend,
I am so so so sorry for your loss. Dogs love unconditionally like nobody else can, and I imagine it must be so hard right now. However, they are some of the greatest gifts life has to offer, even if their time on Earth is much more limited than ours. They bring so much joy and happiness, and I hope you can find that in the memories you carry of your sweet baby. <3
Have some sunshine being a sweet dog-whisperer and Logan and Finn wanting to surprise the very best husband they could ever ask for.
Sending lots of love your way!!

Logan laced his fingers through Leo’s as they walked along the path through the park, stepping aside every now and then to let bikers and runners pass by. Leo’s skin was tan from the summer sun and matched beautifully with the gold rings on his fingers. Logan brought his hand to his mouth and kissed it, then turned to look up at him. They were discussing where they wanted to go for dinner. “What do you want to do tonight, soleil?”
Leo shrugged. “Don’t know. Could ask Finn, he was talking about this new place that opened up in the center of the city. Or we could go to that café we like for an early dinner, then go for a walk by the water. It’s a nice day.”
“Mm,” Logan hummed distractedly. He stopped abruptly and bent down. When he stood to give Leo the flower he picked, small and yellow, he smiled. “Allez. For you.”
Leo smiled back. “Thanks, honey.” He kissed Logan’s forehead. “I love it.”
Logan was leaning up for another kiss when he felt something cold sniff his ankle. He pulled away and looked down. “Quoi?”
The dog had moved on to Leo now. It was medium sized, with long, triangle ears and a boxy face. It’s entire body wiggled as it looked up at Leo and stuck its tongue out in a smile.
“Sassy!” a woman said. She gave the dog a tug by its leash and smiled sheepishly. “Sorry, sorry, she’s not leash trained quite yet.”
“That’s alright,” Leo said. He looked up at her. “Can I pet her?”
“Yeah, yeah, of course.”
Leo grinned and bent a bit to let Sassy sniff his hand, and when she licked it, he crouched fully to scratch behind her ears. He laughed when she made a content little grunting sound. “You’re so pretty! Look at you, baby.”
Logan smiled fondly then looked up at the woman. “What breed is she?”
She shrugged. “We’re not entirely sure. We think a pitbull-coonhound mix. I’m not her owner, I’m just taking her for a walk. I volunteer at Gryffindor Shelter on Lavelle Street.”
Logan tilted his head. “So she’s not adopted?”
“No. A group of us take the dogs for walks every week so they get used to it. Helps to socialize them a bit.”
“That’s awesome,” Leo chided in. Sassy now had her paws on his bent knees and was wiggling happily as he continued to scratch her ears. “You’re a very sweet girl.”
Logan took in Leo’s smile and bright blue eyes. They had talked about getting a dog before, in theory. Leo always joked that Finn basically was their dog and that they needed to run him, but Logan knew he wanted the real thing. He loved whenever the Lions did charity work or photoshoots with rescue dogs. Finn and Logan had shared knowing glances many times over the years as they watched every single dog, old and young, big and small, fall in love with Leo the second they met him.
Suddenly, there was a warm body behind him and a wet, slightly sweaty, kiss was pressed to his cheek. “‘Sup, hubs.”
Logan turned and caught Finn’s eye. “Salut. Good run?”
Finn nodded eagerly, bouncing on his toes. “Oo-ways. Two more miles left.” He noticed Leo on the ground and the women holding the leash and smiled. “Hi! Who’s this?”
The woman smiled. “This is Sassy. She’s at Gryffindor Shelter, I’m breaking her out of jail for the day.”
Finn crouched down and held out his hand. “Aren’t you a sweet little girl!” He laughed when she came to lick his wrist, then Logan’s ankle, before going straight back to seek attention from Leo. “Damn, okay, I see how it is.”
The lady winked at him. “Seems she found a friend.”
“Looks like. She’s very pretty.”
The woman nodded. “She is.” She checked her watch briefly, then tugged on the leash. “Let’s go, Sassy girl, gotta get you back.” She looked up at the three of them. “Nice to meet you…?”
“I’m Finn,” Finn said. “And this is Logan and Leo.” He gestured accordingly with a tilt of his head. “And you?”
“Melanie.”
Finn turned on one of his signature grins. “Well, Melanie, thanks for sharing Sassy with us. And taking her for walkies, I’m sure the shelter must be boring for her.”
Melanie smiled. “My pleasure.” She gave the leash another tug. “Let’s go, Sass!”
Sassy let out a whining sound before resisting just enough to give Leo’s forearm another lick and receive one last scratch before she was being led away down the path. Leo watched her go with a small smile on his face for a moment. Just enough time, really, for Finn and Logan to share a meaningful look. Logan grinned and turned to Leo, holding out his hand. “Ici, soleil, let’s finish our walk.”
Leo let out a sigh. “Okay.” He took Logan’s hand and stood. “She was really cute.”
“She was, baby,” Finn agreed, kissing his cheek. “I’ll meet you at the fountain in a few, okay? Love you.”
Leo nodded. “Love you.”
Finn jogged backwards for a moment, making a heart with his hands, before winking and turning to run ahead. Logan stood on his toes and kissed Leo on the cheek. “You look very pretty in the sun.”
Leo rolled his eyes good naturedly, but he turned his face to brush their noses together. He still had the yellow flower between his fingers. “I love you.”
“Je t’aime.” Logan kissed him on the mouth, then squeezed his hand. “Allez, or our oversized puppy will get impatient waiting for us at the fountain.”
Leo laughed and let Logan pull him along the path.

Two weeks later
It took a lot of planning, and insisting Leo go out with Regulus one day while they had a secret house inspection, but Logan had done it. Well, really, he and Finn had done it, but he liked to credit himself for the idea, at least. They had told Leo they were going out to get fertilizer for his herb garden, which they did actually do- the store just so happened to have all necessary dog accessories, and was a three minute drive from Gryffindor Shelter on Lavelle Street.
“Are you excited, Sassy girl?” Finn cooed from the front seat as he parked. He turned to scratch her behind the ears, and patted Logan, who was sitting in the back with her, on the head. “Your daddy’s gonna be so happy!”
She let out a whine and a short bark, her entire body vibrating with energy. Logan clipped the leash they had got her around her collar and gingerly opened the door. “Allez, ma petite, careful.”
Sassy paid him no mind and leapt out of the car after him, nose in the air and twitching like a bunny’s with soft huffs. Finn chirped the car and went to open the door leading from the garage to the lower lobby and the elevator.
“Wanna bring the other stuff up later?”
“Ouais,” Logan said, gripping tightly to the leash as Sassy pulled in her excitement. “I want Le to see her first.”
Finn made a happy sound in the back of his throat. “I can’t wait, he’s gonna be so excited.” He turned to look at Logan as they stepped through the elevator door and kissed him. “You’re a good husband.”
Logan smiled against his mouth. “Toi aussi, mon rouge.” He bent to rub Sassy’s side. “She’s very happy.”
“Wiggly little thing, huh?” Finn crouched to give her a kiss on the forehead, which just made her wag her tail even harder. “Gonna have to take you on runs to get your energy out. Yes I am!”
Logan ran a hand fondly through Finn’s hair just as the elevator door opened. Sassy immediately dragged Logan out, nose to the ground as she scurried her way down the hallway. Finn laughed and went to unlock the door. “Hold her here for a second, ‘kay?”
“D’accord,” Logan replied, crouching to hold Sassy around her chest.
Finn touched Logan’s cheek, winked, then pushed the door open. “Sunshine! We’re home.”
“Hi, honey,” Logan heard Leo say. There was the sound of a brief kiss. “Where’s Lo?”
Logan could imagine Finn’s mischievous smile. “We’ve got a surprise for you.”
“What?”
“Lo, let her in!”
Logan stood and held onto Sassy’s leash and guided her into the apartment. Leo looked briefly confused, but his entire face changed when he saw her, breaking into a wide smile. Those bright eyes flashed to Logan’s face. “No.”
Logan nodded, a warm feeling working its way up his chest. “Ouais.”
Sassy whined, entire body vibrating, before Logan let her go. Leo crouched and she launched herself right into his lap, happy, high-pitched noises escaping her. Her paws were dancing on Leo’s legs as he cupped her face and scratched her ears. He was laughing and cooing at her. Logan and Finn and Logan shared a fond look.
“Hi, baby, hi!” Leo was saying. “Oh, you’re so beautiful.” He looked up at Finn and Logan, both dimples on full display. “She’s ours?”
The look Finn gave him was so in love Logan felt his heart speed up. “Yeah, sunshine. She’s ours.”
Leo laughed again and buried his face in Sassy’s neck. She had both of her paws on his shoulders and was sniffing by his ear. She had calmed down a bit, comforted by the warmth of Leo’s body. Logan could relate.
“Thank you,” Leo said softly. He tilted his chin up. “C’mere.”
Finn sat by his side and Logan kneeled in front of him. Leo leaned in to kiss them both softly, a hand supporting Sassy on her back. Finn wrapped one arm around Leo’s waist and Logan scratched Sassy’s side just beside Leo’s hand.
“She will need some training,” Logan said. He moved his hand up and flitted his fingers over Leo’s curls. He leaned into the touch. “But she needed a home, and she loves you, Le.”
“She’s perfect,” Finn said wistfully, head now on Leo’s shoulder. He reached out to rub Sassy’s ear between his thumb and forefinger. “Her ears are so soft.”
“Mm, like- how do you say it, soleil? Le velours?”
Leo smiled and peeked out at him. “Velvet. Yeah, they are.”
Sassy was wiggling again, excited and eager with all the hands petting her, and let out a happy little growling sound. Logan barked out a laugh. “Rouge, she sounds like you.”
Finn mimicked her happy growling sound and reached out with both hands to scratch behind her ears. She opened her mouth in a smile and talked back to him again. “Just like your dad, baby, did you hear that?”
Leo kissed her on the side of her head. “Okay, c’mon, baby girl, let’s show you the house.” He coaxed her off his lap and took her leash, leading her through the kitchen. “This is where all the yummy snacks are made. I’ll have to find some dog friendly recipes for you, sweetheart.” They continued on. “And this is the couch, it’s great for naps. I’ll make sure to get you a blanket.”
Leo continued chattering to her as he showed her the bedrooms and the hallway. Her nose was moving rapidly, the sounds of her sniffing making Logan let out an amused breath. He settled back on his heels as Finn came to sit beside him. He wrapped his arms around his shoulders and kissed his red waves. “Good surprise.”
“Good surprise,” Finn agreed. “He’s so happy. They both are.”
Logan hummed into Finn’s hair and breathed out a laugh as Leo’s voice continued to carry through their apartment, followed by a bark from Sassy. “I think we married a Disney character.”
“Oh, we definitely did. We could put him in the forest and he’d be friends with all the animals in an hour, probably.”
Logan smiled into Finn’s hair. “You’re so weird. I love you.”
Finn tilted his head and kissed him. “I love you, too.”
They turned to look as Leo walked back into the entryway with Sassy, who was now free from her leash. She saw them and trotted her way over, entire body wiggling, and nudged their hands. They both smiled and complied, scratching her side and ears. Leo stood over them, leash in one hand, his smile bright. Logan couldn’t tear his eyes away.
“Is her stuff in the car?” Leo asked. At the sound of his voice, Sassy turned around and went over to him again. He squatted to pet her.
“Yeah, but we’ll get it, baby,” Finn said. He stood, then held out a hand for Logan. “You relax.”
“You sure? I can help-”
“Non.” Logan bent and cupped his face to kiss him quickly. “Stay here, mon coeur. We’ll be back.”
Later that evening, after the three of them had taken Sassy for a long walk around her new neighborhood, Finn and Logan arrived from picking up their Thai take out for dinner to find Leo fast asleep on his back on the couch. Sassy was a heavy weight on his chest, limbs splayed out as she softly snored. One of her ears was flipped inside-out. Leo’s arms were wrapped gently around her to keep her from falling.
Finn sneakily took a photo. “New lockscreen.”
Logan rested his chin on his shoulder. “Send it to me, please?”
“Already done, baby.” He kissed the side of Logan’s head. “They’re so cute.”
Logan bent to kneel beside the couch and kissed Leo’s forehead, brushing his hair back. “Mon amour. Mon mari. Dinner.”
Leo took a deep breath in and blinked slowly. He smiled sleepily. “Hi.” His arms tightened around Sassy. She let out a content sound and opened her eyes, too. “Sorry, we were just taking a nap.”
Logan shook his head. “Non, don’t be sorry.” He nudged their noses together. “You were very cute.” He felt a paw pat his forearm and he turned to Sassy. “You, too, ma petite.” He kissed her between her eyes and she let out a satisfied sigh.
Leo scratched her back. “Up, sweetheart, it’s supper time.” He laughed as Sassy let out a groan and stretched her back legs and yawned. “Oh, big stretch and big yawn, wow.”
Sassy hopped off the couch and shook, her lips and ears making a flapping sound. She trotted over to greet Finn and sniffed eagerly at the bags he was still holding. “Ah-ah, none for you. Yet. Maybe some chicken.”
Leo tisked. “Spices aren’t good for dogs, they upset their tummies.” He walked over and rested a hand on Finn’s lower back and leaned in for a kiss. “Hi. Thanks for getting dinner.”
“You’re welcome, sunshine.” Finn opened the takeout bags on their counter and began to unload them. Sassy sat obediently and looked up at him, ears perked up. Finn looked at her, then at Leo with his very own pleading puppy dog eyes. “Are you sure she can’t-”
“No. But we can cut her up some cucumbers and you can give them to her, how’s that?”
Finn smiled and nodded. “That sounds good.” He bent to touch his and Sassy’s foreheads together and kissed her nose. “You’re just so cute!”
She barked and wagged her tail happily. Leo looked down at her proudly, then caught Logan looking at him. “You okay, sweetheart?”
Logan nodded. “Ouais,” he said, going up to wrap his arms around Leo’s ribs. “Just love you.”
Leo kissed the top of his head. “I love you, too.” He bent to wrap his hands under Logan’s thighs and pick him up. His dimples were there again. “You got me a dog.”
Logan scratched a hand through his hair and tightened his legs around his waist. “I did.”
“We.”
“It was my idea!”
Leo rolled his eyes fondly and kissed Logan on the mouth. “Well, thank you both. She’s perfect.”
Logan kissed him again. “You’re perfect.”
Leo just grinned and set him down again. “C’mon, let’s get the plates. Then I gotta give Sassy her dinner.” Logan scratched Sassy, who was still watching Finn open the take out containers with rapt attention, on the head, letting the warm feeling of family fill him up as he went to get the silverware.
