Carrie & Matilda
As Matilda Wormwood does some research through the Chamberlain Archives, wanting to know more about the history leading to the events of the Black Prom, Carrie White’s ghost looms over the young girl, waiting for the right moment to strike.
I had been meaning to do something like this for a while since I got into painting this for a while. A picture for a potential movie poster or graphic novel of a crossover a lot of us want but can’t due to copyright: Carrie White and Matilda Wormwood.
I like to imagine the story taking place some time after the events of Matilda (the 1996 film version) in which Matilda begins to have visions of the old town of Chamberlain, Maine raided by ghosts, led by a very sad girl in red. Somehow she visits Chamberlain to investigate, asks the surviving townsfolk about what they recall what happened and why before finding a volume of the town’s archives. Later on, she confronts Carrie’s ghost, sympathizing as well as empathizing with the teenage ghost before somehow helping her realize the error of her ways and finding peace. In other words, my own take on the Laika stop-motion film ParaNorman.
Carrie belongs to Stephen King
Matilda belongs to Roald Dahl
So touching… 😊❤️ And I mean that, I wouldn't just say that.

Blitzø vs Azulín/Bluey
I had been meaning to work on something like this for a while. Using the canvas background I meant to use last Thursday along with my other two paintings, I figured I’d finally work on this.
As I mentioned in a comment for a meme: to me, Bluey (Azulín in the original Spanish version) is almost like the more villainous, truly evil version of Blitzø. Both desire to be loved, have issues with their families and friends, and their attitudes tend to drive them further apart. Except while Blitzø was able to at least somewhat reconcile and try to improve his behavior with others, Bluey sticks with his ill-tempered, envious demeanor do he does not back down from his goals of becoming the best. Not to mention, Blitzø is funny and often cracking jokes, often to derail from his own personal issues, as opposed to Bluey being a bitter, rude, and self-centered asshole to the bone just to feel superior to those around him. Blitzø genuinely loved his mother but has an abusive father who favors Fizzarolli so he can become rich; Bluey holds both his parents in contempt as his mother cheated on her husband (thus leading to Bluey poisoning her out of impulse, only to regret it as soon as he commits the deed), and only tolerates his father because he (the dad) favors his son over Bluey’s brother Tubby as well as holding his old man as an example of a pathetic loser, something Bluey doesn’t want to become. It even extends to how their faces get damaged; Blitzø has scars on half of his face, on his hands, and parts of his chest from a fire he accidentally started; while the half of Bluey’s face is horribly disfigured and his left hand is completely missing after getting pushed off a cliff by a unicorn.
In conclusion, I thought it would be interesting that if the two were ever to meet and learn about each other, I’ll bet Blitzø would be disgusted by how much worse Bluey is compared to him and the two would duel. Though knowing Bluey, he’d most likely lose since he only has a bow and arrow and a knife while Blitzø has a knife AND a gun.

Many ghosts are dying for this occasion, this one can hardly contain himself.
👻 Happy Halloween 🎃 This years theme: Devils in disguise ! We have 2 costumes for the club today, the one above and one that’s that’s similar but with horns and tails! There’s even a joint fright fest with other clubs too!
I just finished this today; it’s a tribute to Wolfychu and her Wonderland video meme.
Amazing, I love how there's a "Frozen" reference in "Sailor Moon"! 😃
One of the key animators of the original Sailor Moon anime, Kimiharu Obata, published an artbook that contains this gorgeous image of Sailor Moon posing like Queen Elsa!
Mermista can’t stand Harley Quinn
Mermista: Ughhh! Can’t you just shut up for a few minutes?!
Harley Quinn: Awww, but why?
Mermista: For one thing, you don’t respect personal boundaries. Secondly, you never seem to think about the consequences of your extreme actions. And finally, your jokes are NOT that funny.
Harley Quinn: (shocked) You… you don’t think I’m… (gets teary-eyed) funny? ;-(
I haven’t seen a lot of crossover fanart of She-Ra and the 2019 version of DCSHG. But I found an opportunity to make a meme out of a screenshot I just took. No offense to any Harley Quinn fans, but I thought this would make for an interesting scenario if she and Mermista ever had an interaction like this.
She-Ra and the Princesses of Power belongs to Noelle/ND Stevenson, Dreamworks, and Netflix
DC Superhero Girls (2019) belongs to Lauren Faust, DC Comics, and Cartoon Network
Bubblegum Scumble
Another quick painting I did to experiment with my cheap paints for scumbling. I always had a thing for bubblegum, especially in cartoons, comics, anime, games, etc. With how translucent my paints usually turn out, I thought I’d try them out on this. I was a little impatient with the lips, since I didn’t have enough time to put any light on them or make them more anatomically correct. But I think the bubble turned out pretty nicely.
Welcome, folks! I'm Bella Lee, and I'm an author and artist for stories. I'm also obsessed with both cartoons AND anime! 😉
