His catchphrase is "feeling sassy?" Hes (allegedly) worked with every war criminal throughout history and been every serial killer. even the gay ones. he ate a baby. his animal motif is a rabbit. hes kind of based off donnie darko. he talks to his cats in a baby voice. he wears a white fedora that makes every video he wears it in feel dated by like 7 years. hes 5'3. he hacked a girls tumblr blog. he added a laugh track over a video of him killing people. he named a chainsaw rex. he torments people by playing frank sinatra at them. his name comes from an animal collective song. theres a canon blog entry where he makes the speakers blare rob zombie before he enters a room, then holds a guy at gunpoint to describe what he did to to him while "making sure to leave in all the cool parts". Hes like ten tumblr sexymen traits rolled into one. Sometimes his voice gets distorted and it makes him sound like Bill Ciphers first year on HRT. For some fucking reason i associate the song Cake By The Ocean with him. I firmly believe that if everymanhybrid didn't require a masters degree in creepypasta autism to comprehend, he would've caused more teenage stabbings than the slenderman incident and more kin war tumblr scenarios than nagito komaeda.

Hey so, a lot of folks in the Marble Hornets fandom are varying shades of new to it, and so didn't experience it coming out unfortunately, but apparently there used to be a marblehornets website that has been down since 2016, and I actually didn't know about it but my friend (@straycalamities) did and found it on the Wayback Machine.

I bring this up because while the images on the website are mostly broken now, it actually holds some really fascinating information on the characters that I have never seen talked about, like some of their majors in college!!

I am going to post snippets (as screenshots would get fucked up on mobile) and talk about them a little, but check it out here if you're curious.

Starting from the top and most passionate, we have Alex Kralie's description.

Director / Writer / Editor / Actor Alex Kralie, born April 4th 1986, has been into making films since his early childhood, when he would make short sketch comedy videos starring himself and his cousins with his parents camcorder. He would then show them at “premieres” to his friends and family. That love has since remained with Alex, where he has been involved in many different capacities in various filmmaking communities. He is a double major in both filmmaking and photography, with a minor in theatre. He originally wrote Marble Hornets during high school and has continuously tweaked and polished it throughout his time at the university. He’s very excited to finally see it all happening after years of work!

Likes: Film, Directing, Art, my dog rocky.  Dislikes: Fakery, creative bankruptcy, passionless people, 9 to 5 jobs, unambitiousness, bad movies and film.

Wow, ain't that a breath of fresh air? A BIRTH YEAR! In a slenderverse series! In a youtube horror series, honestly! You never see it.

Alex's description is by far the longest and most passionate, a fact which kind of kills me knowing what he becomes. Working on a project he started in highschool, if there is anything Alex is, I suppose it is dedicated, all devoted to idea he gets in his head which he just can't seem to shake, huh?

Finally though we have a major for our tragedian! Two majors! And a minor! Sorry but I am genuinely so enthused about this. This paragraph really knocks home what I have always said about how Alex thinks, with his confidence and slight pretentious nature with a genuine passion and undertone of insecurity—and through the lens of him talking about himself! Wow.

But moving on to the lead, Brian Thomas!

Actor Brian has been attending the university for three years, and is hoping to graduate after his next couple of semesters with a Bachelor’s degree in psychology and a minor in video production. He originally met Alex in Dr. Warren’s cinematography class where they collaborated on quite a few projects together. He’s very happy to be making his acting debut in Marble Hornets!

Depending on who you think wrote these, this description could be really funny. BUT WOW A CANONIZED WAY THESE CHARACTERS MET. I feel like I have won the lottery. Anyone else?

That is a really fascinating combination of major and minor too, [WHICH WE NOW HAVE FOR HIM, WOAH,] it really makes you wonder what Brian is doing though, and where his direction in life is, if he even knows. Its such a short and sweet and direct description, it is equal parts charming while hiding something under its surface you can't quite place and might even slip from your attention, which feels very emblematic of this character.

I'll leave you to read Sarah Reid and Tim Wright's bios on your own, but I want to point out that at the bottom of the page, there are two people who don't have them.

Both Seth Wilson and Jay Merrick are marked with a "coming soon" notice, with Seth listed as Camera/Co-Editor and Jay listened as... nothing. He is just slapped on there because. Why?

Probably because Alex wanted him there because he is his friend, but it is interesting to point out. Jay as I said before is a passive (though not meek) character, especially at the start of the series, and this just reminds me of that. He is here, but quiet and observing, not helping really as he trails after Alex because he is his friend, because they have a connection, because Alex can't imagine not having him here.

He whines a lot about the human stuff you have to do especially when you go to sleep because you cant pay attention to him while you arent awake

And will most likely stare at you in your sleep but not for too long because after a while he will realize you wont be waking up soon and just gets bored

If hes not away killing somebody hes constantly by your side needing your attention wich means you get less time for yourself

But since you are dating him you probably dont mind

Also he probably wont tell you when hes leaving and where so just dont get scared if you cant find him for a whole day he will come back eventually

If he comes back he always tells you what he did that day in the most dramatic way ever

Like you would be sitting on the couch and he would be like walking around and stuff just acting out whatever hapened

Of corse he makes himself more powerfull and smarter in his own story

Back to what i said in my orher post if you do go and torture people with him or just be there while he does he will eather

Dont even alow the victims to look at you or take ther eyes off of him with that creating more fear with not knowing whos the other person or what they want

Or he will especially put the attention to you showing the victim that there is somebody in the room somebody whos normal and human somebody who could do something but for whatever reason dosent

Or he would do what he did with Vinny make you go in alone comfort the person be nice tell them you gonna help them create a false security then he comes in and you two kill them togeder

Analysis of our favorite demon HABIT

OMG YES ive been wanting to do that for a very long but now i can force myself to acually write it down and not just talk to myself like a crazy person

So lets talk about what Habit is to his actor Evan outside of the series because well of corse i dont know how personally but we can tell a lot about him just purely based on the fact that he did say that Habit was kind of a alter ego for himself like an other him in a way where he took the parts of himself that he was not proud of thought was wierd and just made him into a caracter making him scary and intimidating while begin funny and acting in a way he could never do normally and i know Habit wasent created for the series i know it in my soul that Evan made Habit much sooner but just choose to use it for the series

Best way the really describe Habit is a very strong personality he haves stuff that he likes and does not give a single fuck about what people think about it he views humans as nothing weak little things that die so easily he thinks so little of humans and that really shows trew the way he acts how hes so mocking and he tries to make himself look scary and big all the time making you belive that he knows everything always begin a few steps ahead of people almost like he knows exacly whats gonna hapen in the future wich for the most part he does or prehaps needs very little time to think about his next action but we do know the answer for that torward the end of the series more and more as things that he haves no control of or didnt knew about start to hapen wich in the end did result of his death too and he hates when he haves no control of something he loves begin powerfull and scary in peoples eyes and gets very very violent more then his usual self when somebody tries to shift that power dynamic because hes still insecure

Now i love how his whole caracter consists of internet refrences and old timey stuff wich shows that Habit haves been around a long time for example a few old slangs that he uses from like 1950s and such just generally older then the series timeline i could make a whole new post about those but this post is allready getting too long

Am gonna be very honest with you all i cannot stand most of the everymanhybrid fandom it was such a big shift for me compared to mardle hornets and yes i am aware that everymanhybrid does deal with more sensitive and intense topics in the show but that does that give people an exuse to be horroble and just generally very bad people me personally i didnt saw anything generally bad in the marble hornets fandom other then proshipping and people getting a bit wierd with the ships but thats something that hapens to bigger fandoms all the time but the emh fandom is so much i dont want to be in the same fandom spaces as nazis and racist people just because you are a fan of a caracter that dosent mean you can push belives and political views onto a caracter it really takes away the meaning of Habits caracter and how deeply well written he is and how acually he is a very smart caracter almost everything he does in the show is for a reason and i see a lot of people choosing to ignore everything just because they think he is hot yeah i think hes hot too but am not begin disgusting about i dont want people to know me only for my content about evan i will write about him but maybe later when i dont feel so grossed out with this fandom

Everytime i feel my hyperfixaton torward creepypasta/slenderverse starting to fade i just look up anything that haves to do with marble hornets because it will truly stay as my favorite analog horror ever and am making a post where i compare marble hornets and everymanhybrid a bit because those two are the ones that got me the suport from you all and made me a semi-known writer on this app (aka one kf the few creepypasta/slenderverse writers who are still active) love you all and am trying to get back into writing more often but summer depression haves been killing me
