i met a woman who told me she’s a human being first, then a mother, then a woman. i’ve never heard a woman verbally announce her value as a mother greater than her value as a woman. it’s not crazy. probably not even surprising for another woman to hear. but for me this is inspiring and i love to understand women better period.
