How about a DDLC AU where Monika decided to find nonlethal ways of removing the other girls from the list of love rivals?

Series: Doki Doki Literature Club AU Criteria: Monika takes the pacifist route AU title (optional): Golden Route

Sick of never being chosen, Monika decides that desperate actions need to be taken. However, despite knowing that they're just code, she truly believes that the girls in the club are her friends, and hurting them locks her into the bad end no matter what. But what if she didn't hurt them?

First things first, she had to deal with Sayori… no, she had to stay as is for now. She was the hook for the protagonist after all, so she had to… bring the protagonist to the club, and keep them happy. But what if she… just tweaked a line of code.

After that, she noticed that Sayori was even friendlier with her, so that was good, right? That would help her really push for Monika to be the final girl, and avoid raising doom flags. Good, so next is Yuri, oh she could be tricky, nothing like a slice and dice to her code would work. Carefully she scoured the code, and… huh, that's a lot of flags for Natsuki. Maybe a small nudge there? Yeah, she and Natsuki are cute together.

Huh, she is getting more interaction with all of her best friends, and Protagonist is showing interest in her as well, that's great! She is the best at making her reality a thing. Soon it will be just Monika and the protagoni- Wait, couldn't the others see this was a date? Why are they sitting down?

. . . Why did all of them kiss her goodnight and ask when their next date was?

Does anyone know what you’d call the trope in fanfiction where

The MC/Ensemble gets isekai’d/sent back in time/banished or leaves

they decide to build their own Homebase/settlement/Nation where they do things their way which is usually better/more advanced than what their enemies/other people do? sometimes they use a pre-existing

Usually with magic/similar powers or with future knowledge/scientific advances.

MC is usually the leader and is leading the charge with the changes. MC draws people in with charisma, power, and revolutionary changes. Side characters are usually the first ones to join the MC

Bad Guys can’t compete(or at least can’t keep up with their advancement), but usually outnumber MC’s group so it's not immediately one-sided in favor of the protags

Sometimes there is a godlike being that initiates the initial send-off to ‘fix’ something although they usually allow the MC to operate how they want to. Sometimes they only care for their own entertainment or are not godly and are out of their depth.

If there isn’t a name for it I propose Basebuilding on the smaller scale and Nationbuilding on the larger scale

anyways, any fic recs? cause I usually read this trope with like Game of Thrones, Harry Potter, or Naruto but I have found it in ATLA and MHA before too. I think I've seen it in the MCU fandom with like Tony accidentally taking over the world, and in the HTTYD fandom with like Hiccup single-handedly creating a Viking renaissance, but I think it would be a neat concept for a Percy Jackson fic.

i’m going to hold your hands when i say this and i am only going to be kind about it once: ai does not belong in fandom spaces, ever. not in writing, not in art, not in video, not at all. it does not matter how bad you want to see your favourite characters kiss, or how much you need a bit of help finishing a chapter, or whatever.

make friends with artists. commission somebody. learn to draw yourself. ask for a beta read. try a writing partnership. fandom spaces are communities, so engage with them! it is about the journey and the fact that we all love something enough to create and build together about that thing.

spending 30 seconds to kill a tree and get an AI to push out some soulless empty piece of “content” is antithetical to the entire point of being engaged with fandom, and if you’ve taken to doing this you should really reconsider if you belong in these spaces with the rest of us.
