"what even happens in the magnus archives" Everything Happens In The Magnus Archives. it's all in there. you name something that is in any way scary or unpleasant and it's in there somewhere. if you have a niche phobia or recurring nightmare of any kind, no matter how obscure you may believe it to be, then one day you are going to queue up an episode and listen to the intro music play and then they'll read out the title "episode 42069, catching you in 4k" and recite your own personal worst fear Directly into your ear canals, in exactly the words you would use to describe it. the sixth episode is about exploding worm sex that kills you. and then there are 194 more episodes after that.
Everyone hype up my sister’s writing she’s an avatar of the corruption or something the way she was feeling that Crawling Rot
I think I’ll crawl off into the forest and give my body to the earth and the bugs. My flesh is battered, stained, and stretched almost to the point of rupture. I’d much rather leave this withered skin lying languid on the earthen floor, to be lovingly lifted from pearl pieces of bone by kind maggots. Dozens, hundreds, thousands of little insectoid legs will so attentively massage tense, gleaming muscle, and detangle gnarled bundles of nerves until it all melts into the mud. My thoughtless brain will pour from open eye sockets as tears of joy, my blood will pool beneath me unhurried as sweet golden honey. My organs, nothing more than shining baubles, will adorn the dull ground at my feet. Porous bones, free from awful, smothering tissues, will finally, gratefully, breathe the fresh air and sip the morning dew. The refreshment will be a welcome relief, after choking down my festering, bodily slime for so long. Joints will slip from their rusted hinges at long last. Please, do not weep for me, I promise that I will not go to waste. Eagerly, I will provide an elysian shelter for the foxes who sleep nestled in my hollow rib cage, feasting on discarded limbs. They’ll wail with the breeze as it whistles between the gaps in my teeth, and curiously sniff at the wildflowers as they begin to gingerly poke their way through the cracks in my smile. Then, the sun will sink, burying itself below the soil where I rest in my bliss, and the night sky will drape a sidereal blanket over me, keeping me perfectly warm even in the absence of skin.
What I’ve learnt from my last post in like 2 hrs
1) fear the eye ball man
2) John gets possessed by a theatre kid every statement
I LOVE HISTORICAL FIGURES IN TMA. MY FAVORITE IS WILFRED OWEN(Mag 007). He really was a WW1 soldier, and poet. His military experience was exactly what was described in the podcast. He was once blown into the air by a shell and landed in another soldiers remains, he was treated for shell-shock, and he died a week before the armistice. His work is considered to be some of the best from the Great War because of how well he captured the horrors :D
So Issac Newtons appearance in TMAGP 19 has sparked convo about the historical figures in TMA, Smirke and Haley, BUT DID YOU KNOW GRIMALDI WAS REAL TOO HE WAS BORN IN 1778 AND IS CONSIDERED THE FATHER OF MODERN CLOWNING
it came to me in a moment of clarity
I made a worm plushie in honor of Worm Wife Jane Prentiss (I know her worms are silver but i didn’t have silver fabric so I went for like ur standard flesh-eating worm)
I’m gonna try to update the design closer to canon constructive criticism would be appreciated :)
I’m just here to talk about the Magnus ArchivesHe/Him
