When John called me to join his new band, I didn't know that our first concert as the Plastic Ono Band was supposed to be in Toronto the next day. When I asked him how we were going to rehearse in this short time, he said: "No problem, we'll have at least 8 hours to rehearse." I answered: "But the flight to Toronto takes 8 hours?" John answered: "That's exactly what I mean."
