white-hot eyes; red-hot lies
never read the comic which this version of Scott is from but I still think it’s a cool concept to have a Cyclops pushed over the edge, consumed by the red that covers his vision
about to start watching Supernatural… what am I getting into?
do you like watching me bleed, brother?
When the 501st first meet their new Commander, they're annoyed. Why should they have to deal with a youngligh, especially in the middle of a war? Ahsoka's just a liability.
But eventually their Mandalorian instincts kick in, and they can't just watch this child bounce around the walls unsupervised. So I present you with these thoughts;
Rex, making sure that she eats before every battle. If she hasn't, he'll pull out a ration bar from some secret pocket. He's the reason she's so healthy.
Echo, helping her study for her Jedi tests, even though he doesn't quite understand all the material. He's the reason she never fails a test.
Fives, showing her the best ways to prank their brothers. The first time that shaving cream shows up in their food, he's incredibly proud. He's the reason she's banned from ordering suspicious supplies.
Hardcase, sneaking her midnight snacks and gossiping with her until 3 in the morning. He's the reason she can eat three tubs of ice cream in as many minutes.
Jesse, teaching her the secrets of the ships and weapons even though he's not technically supposed to do that. He's the reason she can sneak through the Venator without anyone noticing.
And Ahoska is the reason they all smile a little brighter, the reason that their dreams aren't quite as bad, the reason the 501st is so damn protective of their commander. Because that's their little sister, and they're her big brothers.
BONUS
Kix, handing her a cute sticker and gently wiping away her tears after giving her shots because she's scared of needles. He's the reason she's not anymore.
Hello, I made a star wars game for a school project and need people to look at it, You get to play as Anakin and try to make choices to see if you get a good or bad ending, there are 7 endings. Here's the link to check it out :) https://darkenedjustice.itch.io/
omg I love the game! Triple dog dare you to put this in it.
So one of the few downsides of being a reader is that I know words, but have no idea what those words mean, but at the same time I do.
Like, I can use big, fancy words when I'm writing/talking, it's one of the reasons I sound like such a nerd all the time. Because I know what those words mean. But then when somebody who doesn't know it asks me 'what does that mean' the conversation usually goes something like:
Random Person: so what does resplendent mean?
Me: uhhhhh... good? glowy? think like... hot, pretty, dude?
Person: what???
Me: idk man, it just means resplendent
This can just be a me problem, right? Like, words don't make sense: they just do.
Cass!
Maybe from a dystopian AU, or maybe just a little redesign, who knows?
