Scavengers of Lazure ♡

"two gaukren make their way back from the lazure ruins. theyve been searching for trinkets and cool things to bring back to their hideout.. theyve no need for food, so they mostly just collect whatever they think is interesting! that, and material to protect their stuff from the storms. they dont mind the rain, but when it storms, they risk getting washed away. despite this danger, imn is very nonchalant, and lazy.. sif doesnt understand them, but knows its better they work together. imn knows this place very well, so their knowledge is invaluable, even if they dont help much. and.. even if they didnt, imn is all sif really has. theyre alone together in this land, and they share a bond like siblings." -The Historian, 718sd

Masks

week 11, decided to try a 'comic' this week, because people have been asking me to, and i finally had an idea "what i was going to say, before i was interrupted, was.. we need masks because they help us keep our form, and remember who we are! they are our identities, and without them, we wouldnt be us! formless vessels, lost and confused. i apologize, i realize it wouldve been better to explain that before demonstrating.

most cant even remove their masks, nor would you want to- its an intense and unstable state, and even those who can manage it cant do so for more than at most a minute or two, lest they forget themselves. you should ask your grandma if you want to know more, shes better trained with it than i." -ms akuta

watched fionna and cake- final episodes hit me where i lived, so i thought id draw one of my favorite moments. its not the happy ending id hoped for, but at least they got to meet one last time.. reminds us to appreciate the times we had, even despite their end.. rings especially prevalent in my life, right now. we all have to say goodbye eventually.

prompt 11: undeath "times have been rough in the village- the elementals are way past due to return, and an apocalyptic event seems inevitable, but the villagers seem.. hopeful, unafraid. as if theyve been comforted, by an inaudible song, and an invisible hand. the people keep on working, and living their lives, while the children play, laugh, and sing. there is legend of a kind lady.. an ancient spirit, who passed long ago, back before time had dawned, when the universe was empty, and cold. she was not content with how her world ran, so she waved her passing, and sang of a dream, of a different existence.. one where none go unloved, nor suffer more than they can bare, as she had- and even in death, can know peace, or live a thousand different dreams, each more wonderful than the last. as she sung it, it was so, and her song becyme rock and tree. river and mountain. realm and mind. peace and comfort. the people of the village have passed down this tale and song for many generations, and no one knows who first sung it, or where it cyme from, but it brings peace to the village in difficult times.. a comfort in loss, a song of love, and hope.. hope that, things get better, and everything will be alright, and we will be together again, in the end." -the historian

week 25, said id do some fanart, so here we are- was fairly hesitant, did not think id do very well because ive never drawn for this series before, but it cyme out a lot better than i was expecting! only took me three hours of drawing, too, but many more than that looking for references.

(i am definitely among those hoping these two can work things out- want a win for stolas, hes top tier adorable)
