Young Peter Parker, being given a charm necklace after his parents died. The necklace has a charm belonging to his mother and one of his fathers birthstone. He never takes it off; theyre always with him.

Once he loses Ben, he adds another charm. It only feels right.

He comes back to life after being dusted, wearing the necklace. He adds one for Nat, one for Tony, and one for himself. He isnt who he used to be. It feels like that kid is dead.

Its only after Tony died that Peter finds out Tony took inspiration from the necklace. Pepper shows Peter how Tony engraved small symbols for each person hes lost in one of his suits. Peters symbol is the viking symbol for father and son. Pepper tells Peter about each of the symbols. Theres a lot of them: Tony seemed to feel that any blood spilled was on his hands.

After May died, another charm was added. This was the first one where the person left a charm intentionally, for the purpose of being added to the necklace.

It was getting a bit heavy around Peters neck, nowadays.

Once the spell took effect, Peter wondered if he should add charms for everyone hes ever known.

He just took the necklace off instead.

but I'm telling you that Tony will go soft for his son.

Peter is so the opposite of Tony in every way emotionally and I think that’s why they learn so much from each other. Like, Tony doesn’t hug people. He doesn’t seem a very openly affectionate person, even with the people he’s closest to. Every piece of kindness is masked by a joke or a comment about his reputation, anything to avoid flat out vulnerability.

Peter, meanwhile, hugs the man he just met. Peter helps old ladies across the street and worries about schoolwork in the face of danger. Peter calls criminals and superheroes alike by formal names, “Mister criminal” and “Mister Stark”, he sees the humanity in every person he webs up or stands beside.

Both are completely, COMPLETELY predictable in emotional mannerisms, but Tony hopes to seem like an emotional 0 and Peter is openly at an emotional 100 all the time. That’s what makes their dynamic so interesting. The father made of stone and the son with a bleeding heart

Peter evacuating everyone out of an unstable building. He gets everyone out but something happens and he's still in the building when it collapses.

Something happens and he is knocked unconscious, but is otherwise fine. It's not heavy enough to crush him.

But he is in a position where it is hard for other people to dig him out. Or at least looks hard.

And maybe his suit and/or watch is damaged and his vitals are wrong or wonky.

Peter waking up to Tony losing his mind outside of the building - because his kid is stuck under a building and it's looking like instead of finding Peter, they're gonna find his body.
