a lil shadowpeach fanfic for @winterpower98‘s birthday

Wukong woke up to the latch on his window being opened.
Not even bothering to roll over, he adjusted his grip on the pillow he’d been clinging onto, lifted his hand up in the air, and threw it with a fair amount of strength at where he presumed the intruder to be.
The sound of the pillow landing against the floor and cracking it made him groan, knowing that it had missed.
There was the sound of rustling paper, and Wukong’s ear twitched in curiosity as he registered that there wasn’t any sound of footsteps.
Something was set down on his bedside table.

they are each going for a different genre of music and it sounds horrendous together but they are having fun i think.
my piece for @batfam-au-zine !
I should not feel this angry I think.
I wanna make DC comic short series about Gothamites who are just regular ass people.
Real estate agent trying DESPERATELY to sell a house to some people who aren’t from Gotham while Joker is laughing and setting bombs just outside and she’s pretending everything is fine.
A Batburger employee who always gets stuck with the graveyard shifts and that is, unfortunately the perfect time to get a few of Batman’s rogues, his family, or the Dark Knight himself, sometimes all on the same night and at the same time.
Principal who comes to the horrifying realization that they’re gonna have to change the school year to all year due to how many ‘days off’ from citywide threats they’ve taken
The lady who petsits Hailey sometimes and doesn’t even bother to question why NIGHTWING is the guy picking her up
Is there a maintenance guy for the Bat signal?? There should be. I think that should be a thing. Maybe sometimes Cass just sits there ominously while he works and he has long since stopped questioning it
Construction worker lady who regularly points where rogues try to hide when they’re running down the streets to The Signal. Theyre best buddies
Oh klahoma by Jack Stauber
Shadow play it’s such a funny and sad episode.
The sad part: Mk found himself alone and didn’t though that his friends would have been captured or in danger because he fully believed they abandoned him after realising that he wasn’t good enough. Just like Monkey King did, just like the hero abandoned the warrior.
And that’s just depressing.
And the funny part: The whole episode from Macaque’s point of view.
Imagine waiting for your enemy to realise you captured his loved ones and panic, and he just fully accepts that everyone who loves him abandoned him, and now he’s completely depressed and comes back every day (for a whole week at less) to watch your fake silly show.
Like, what do you??
Do you talk to him, do you ask him to leave, do you show yourself, do you keep going???
Wukong come back, your confidence it’s not contagious-
Bad Batch/His Dark Materials AU!
Here’s The Batch with their daemons! Be warned I have so many thoughts behind this AU. So leave now if you don’t want to read my absolute essay of a lore dump.
My idea for this AU is that all the clones tend to have dogs daemons, both in line with the whole ‘clones are the same’ idea and ‘dogs who follow orders’ stereotype, but also this idea in this universe that the ‘Vode’ are a “pack” of sorts. Generally the clones’ daemons are dog breeds with pointy ears. And battalions usually get made up of clones with same dog breeds as daemons (the 501st has mostly huskies/malamutes and the 212th has mostly German Shepards/Belgian Malanois for example). All of this to say, Clone Force 99 stands out even more in this AU because of their daemons. “Regs” who have daemons that deviate from the ‘normal’ type of daemon clones’ have, get terminated. Though for clones to have daemons that settle into something ‘abnormal’ is rare to begin with. So The Bad Batch having not-dog daemons AND being allowed to live is kinda the main reason of tension between The Batch and the ‘Regs’.
Some more details about TBB in this AU:
Because Ghost is albino, she has sensitive eyes and bad vision in general. Which is an interesting duality to Crosshair’s exceptional eyesight.
All through out s1-3 of TBB I imagine Omega’s daemon (Delta) hasn’t settled, and she shifts between a bird of prey and different dogs breeds. And Delta often will shift into the same animal as the other Batchers’ daemons when interacting with them. It’s not until Omega escapes Tantis with Crosshair that Delta settles into a Timber Wolf.
Echo’s daemon (Mimic) was originally a grey husky, but after being captured by techno Union she starts to shift into different dog breeds. This is very unparalleled, it’s very rare for daemons to shift again after they originally settle. And it’s NEVER happened to a clone before. Its not until Echo joins The Bad Batch that Mimic settles again as an Australian Cattle Dog. Though it takes even longer than that for Echo and Mimic to become comfortable with each other again.
Sorry for goober-posting.

• Let's say you're a wanderer. Not an Autobot or a Decepticon. Travelling through space in your ship, exploring the universe trying to find some friends, or whatever you come across first.
• A signal caught your optics, so you headed there. It leads to a planet, filled with fleshy creatures called "humans". Great.
• Even more great, your ship is now broken. The gravitational pull was apparently too strong for your ship. Now you're stranded here, clueless!
• At least you've managed to gather some spare energon from your ship, now you just have to go undercover. You scanned a vehicle without much problem, and tried to comm if anyone else was here.
• It was a futile effort. BUT! You did get some strange, static-y answer from the other side of the comm. So, you did what any sane bot would do. Follow the frequency!
• Which unfortunately ended up where you currently are.

"... You're not Cybertronian."
You say as you scanned the non-cybertronian bot in front of you.
"And you're not a Metal Cardbot..."
Says the strange blue bot with the police cap on? You didn't know cosmetics that are similar to a human's outfits even existed.
"Yes well, it's obvious what our differences are. Uhm... where is your mouth?"
"Pardon?"
"Your mouth. Do you, whatever you guys call yourselves, not have a mouth?"
The blue bot nodded firmly.
"Yes, us Metal Cardbots do not have the need for a mouth."
"So you don't consume energy?"
"We... Still consume a form of energy."
This confused you. A lot. But instead of asking further, you shook your helm and instead asked another question.
"Right. Well, what's your name? I can't just call you Blue now can i?"
The blue bot gave you an unreadable expression, but it's nothing negative.
"My name is Blue Cop."
"... I guess i can call you Blue!"

• And so the two of you introduced yourselves. He tells you his name, and vice versa. And it goes onnnnnnn from there.
• He's a curious fella, whether he shows it or not. Asking about your origins, where you come from, your name, and even about your occupation.
• He showed you around the place too. Meeting his team, and his fellow human friends! Though one of the Metal Cardbots reminded you of a certain Prime for some reason...
• But then, he asked about how you came here on earth, and when you told him the full story...
░░░░░
"I am... sorry, you had to go through all that."
He says, gently grabbing a hold of your shoulder in an attempt to comfort you.
"Don't worry too much about it. It's not your fault."
"... If it helps, Machina suffered a similar fate."
You vaguely remembered about Machina. The planet where the Metal Cardbots originated from. You never knew about it, only bits and pieces. So this surprised you a little.
"Really..? I guess mechanical lifeforms are destined to wander the universe, eh?"
You humored a bit, not wanting to pry further into what happened in their past.
Blue Cop only nodded in response, and while he may have lacked the necessary equipment to show it, you could easily tell he was smiling. So you did too, and the two of you stared out into the view nature has given you.

Yeah i think I'll end it there.
See you guys in another month or more <3
