full of love (professionally diagnosed)
you know, it kind of feels weird to start all over again. tumblr once felt like home to me but now it just feels like a stranger. i guess i'll just have to start using it more often before i feel that way again. it has been a while, and things have changed since i was last here, so it makes sense that i feel kind of "estranged". i just hope things go back to the way they used to be sooner than later, and hopefully not never. it also doesn't help that my algorithm is all screwed up again but hopefully i can fix it quickly
the process and idea of reproduction is crazy to me. like what do you mean if i have a little too much fun with another person of the opposite sex that we can create a whole person? and what do you mean that a whole person can be created by merging a little swimming white tadpole thing (that had to race a whole bunch of other little swimming white tadpole things) with essentially a ball that's like 1000x the size of the little swimming white tadpole thing? and what do you mean that after they merge, it just starts multiplying and travels down to the uterine wall to implant itself? and what do you mean that it grows over a period of almost a year and has to be pushed out of the body by the uterus holder at the end? like there's no way that this is a real thing, i'm sorry
“Don’t infantilize autism” should be used when people who aren’t autistic treat autistic adults like children.
It should not be said when people who are actually autistic have “childish” interests or stuffed animals and such. Autistic adults are allowed to find comfort and express their autism in ways that works for them (without causing harm), even other autistic people don’t get to tell them not to enjoy those things just because they dislike stereotypes or don’t want themselves to be infantilized.
You can’t tell someone else their life should be breaking a stereotype you dislike. That’s not up to you.
This is cheaper than journaling when you think about it
chatting with women is the best way to use the internet, obviously. this isn't even a debate
I think some of you forgot that autistic people sometimes act strange and say things that are poorly worded and speak with incorrect tone and misunderstand or miss social cues because they are autistic
tumblr is finally starting to feel like home again
"teens are prone to tantrums and are emotionally unstable" - okay, yeah, puberty is real, and emotional regulation is a difficult skill to learn. but also. any adult person would be pissed if their opinions were disregarded, they had no say in what happens to them, their emotions and feelings were downplayed and their privacy were intruded on.
my best tip for anyone trying to get back into reading is to remember that you can read books to avoid other responsibilities in ur life and it can become a vice if you play your cards right
anybody else have like. public and private pronouns. like yeah strangers can use he or she for me idc but if you're a friend im expecting they/them only. and if you're a close friend you unlock the super secret rights to use it/its (exclusive) (rare drop)
neurodivergent // nonbinary & genderfluid // any pronouns // just a place where i can vibe and talk about or do whatever, honestly
