Happy Spring Festival, everyone!

I wish you a happy new year and a prosperous year of the pig. 😁😁😁 It seems to me that portals in GZ could lead to some really strange places. And stepping into a random portal is not always the best idea. You have no idea who/what is waiting for you there. 😂

The creature Danny meets, is often called "醒狮" in my place, but media seldom use the name and it's not on wiki😒😒😒. Dance lions are costumes for dancers, but I think it would be more interesting to describe/show them as actual living creatures. They are unicorns with the name of "lion".😂

My headcanons… Well, "lions" would be considered as earth creatures or (not spooks). They have the abilities to scare ghosts/ evil spirits( sometimes the words might be translated to "demons", 🙄), or even hurt (if they want) ghosts. Ghosts can't do whatever they want to the "lions" and that's pretty bothering/creepy to some ghostly creatures… However, the "lions" are not really offensive or that dangerous. They often eat vegetables and mushrooms (totally different from lions), and they are nice to average/common ghosts. Common ghosts are like common (human or else)people to them. 😊

Though, someone like Danny, is… strange. He's the very powerful kind of (half)ghost, with unknown purpose… Which really confuses the lion. 😂And poor Danny thinks he's facing some sort of fierce monsters… 😂😂😂

I did some researches and studies to design 醒狮, this one looks fine to me. 😁It was hard you know…

The colours of the 醒狮 was inspired by a kind of sea creature. BG was inspired by old houses in 佛山, their walls are made of 青砖 and 麻石, but it's not obvious in this pic… 😂

This is the FIRST script(/draft) of the beginning of chapter one from my (graphic novel) Wings of The Ravens.

I didn't even give the novel an actual name (there was only the number of the AU) when I made this, and you see this "comic" is kind of old… Just look at the dates on the pictures.

The Ghost Portal model I made earlier was originally made for this, but it was still pretty hard to draw BG even with its "help" at that time. 😂

I thought I could start making pages, but the reality was that I wasn't ready. Things weren't clear at all, and I was busy and my skills of drawing/writing/story telling weren't good enough. So I stopped to learn and prepare.

Anyway, now I think it's just the first script(draft), which means it could be considered as early concept art, and sharing it really seems fine. ——————2019.03.17.

↑Honesty I think this could be better. The colours or the shapes/ structures, they could have been better. The design doesn't look good enough… 😂 I know I need to keep learning and practising…

Okay, time for some textual concepts.

The doll (pink bear) is my OC Bella. She is usually a "normal" doll that stays where she's supposed to be. But sometimes she'll wander around as well as appearing in some unnoticed corners of the house. She also talks to humans and "other creatures"(those who are from "other worlds"). Bella is inspired by the popular bears appear in the original show and creepy dolls from horror movies/films/ fictions. She isn't technically a ghost here, and I'm not sure if she talks to ghosts (Can ghosts even notice/see/sense her? Can they communicate/interact? Unsure now).

Nobody knows or really cares about where does this freaking toy come from. Daniel probably found her in some old things or in random boxes or trash, and then keeps Bella with him.

I also made a short comic earlier (basically some quick sketches. I want to practise) (an excellent excuse to draw Danny, and my Bella)… The dialogue is in Chinese, and the English translation is below each picture/panel.

I'm not really good at translating BUT I tried. 😂

(Don't use the freaking translator! Please, just don't try that…)

Bella: I want to play with your wing!

(She actually says "…fur/fluff on your wing" but I guess it's weird to say that in Eng??😂)

Bella: ☺

Bella: Your fluff feels terrible!

Daniel: I don't think it's fluff…

Bella: It's glue! (Since) it's sticky…

Bella: Does it even hurt or something?

It really sticks!

It's a silly weird comic. 🙄 😝😝 The dialogue doesn't quite make sense, and I don't really know how to translate it properly but I TRIED. 😂 The last two pics doesn't have dialogue because adding more content would be horrible. 😂

I have some more silly comics like this. And I'm considering about posting them to here… 😂😕😕

There was something wrong with my Tumblr account and it was kind of upsetting. I didn't know what to do, and then I just stopped posting things. I sometimes want to give up posting things here (or posting to other social media) anyway. Recently I realized that I still like writing posts and posting stuff, and I created a new account. Then after realizing that waiting for the Support to help me was not a good idea, I sent a request to the Support, and now my account is alright again.

More importantly, I am feeling a little bit better at the moment, so I can post something.
