Darkness comes on once in a while, it’s hard to escape it completely. A few who have triumphed escaping it are geniuses, precious and are lucky. To the rest of us, darkness visits once in a while
This is the 11th day of
waiting.
seated in the same spot
grindling my hands
to type
and
what gets out is
ddddhhhhdhdjdhdhddhkjsdhjdsh.
Whatever part of the
brain that platitudinized me to write
is dead now.
It made me fall in love,
and now—kaput—it's gone.
Uuuuh what a devoid day !
I am dissolving
into a desolate form.
Some bloomed in the same loneliness
that mutilated others.
In this Lent, a period of reflection, a time for self-understanding, a space for self-love. But most importantly, a moment to recognize that the Lord has been by our side and always will be, as long as we allow Him to be. For His will was never to impose Himself upon us, but for us to freely understand, and fall in love with His ways, His guidance, and His honest planning.
But do we stop, halt and realize that we are indeed still breathing?
Because no matter the emotions
or
notions of what we intend to do or become,
the mere fact that we are breathing is a salient one.
The heart goes cold. The heart grows old. The repetition of moments be it trembling or joyous. The heart loses it all in the end.
That distance might be a protective barrier, built up over time because things felt too overwhelming, too painful, or too complicated.
Maybe if they try noticing the little things—the way the air feels when they step outside or how the light looks through a window. These moments can help your friend reconnect with how they feel without needing to rush. It’s not about forcing yourself to 'fit in' or ‘be normal.’ It’s about acknowledging yourself and giving yourself permission to gradually re-enter the world at your own pace, without judgment.

We have been given this one life, what much can we do with it apart from living as our hearts crave.
We have been given this one life and sadly you can’t live it all within the game of risking yet, confusingly those who risk it at most get out totall liberated.
