You tend to get midnight cravings and ellie, being your long term girlfriend, usually sleeps through you getting out of bed to cook. And today, you thought, was no different.

Dressed in nothing but one of ellie’s tees and underwear, you clambered out of bed and stumbled down the hallway into your kitchen. Ellie could sleep through anything so you turned on your music and prepared everything to make tomato pasta, getting extras so you could save some for the following days lunch.

Twirling around the kitchen whilst grabbing pans and bowls, Ellie watched from the doorway. Leaning her side against the doorframe with her arms crossed and a smile on her face. She was dressed in a pair of boxers and a long sleeved t-shirt that made her look so yummy.

It took a while to notice your girlfriend, it was as the pasta was on the heat when you span and saw her. You jumped a little before smiling and holding your hands out at her

“dance with me pretty girl”

Ellie huffed and pushed herself off the doorframe, she took your hands and span you around so her front was pressed against your back, her arms around your waist as you swayed to the eighties music playing on the radio

She swayed with you as you stirred the pasta into the sauce and she swayed when you put all the pasta into a tub for tomorrow. Your midnight cravings disappearing as you danced with the love of your life.

She span you once everything was sorted and you threw your arms over her shoulders, leaning up to place a gentle kiss on her lips.

“marry me” The brunette whispered, her voice so soft that you almost missed it under the loud music

“what?” you gaped, looking up at her with those pretty eyes she loves so much

“let’s get married”

“okay” you nodded eagerly “holy shit, yeah. okay”

“okay” Ellie grinned, picking you up and spinning the two of you around before placing you back onto your feet. A lovesick smile on her face as your eyes welled with happy tears.

“shit! i’ve got to call dina oh my god” You gasped, running to your bedroom

“babe it’s one in the morning, call her in the morning!” your fiancé called after you, groaning as she heard you screaming over the phone at your shared best friend. And, if she listened close enough, she could hear dina screaming back

you arrived at jackson the day after ellie’s 18th birthday. all the younger lot of the town still in bed when you turned up covered in splattered blood and your hands trembling

maria cleaned you up, introduced you to many of the jackson residents and set you up in a small cabin. you told her your story and she took pity in you, only a few months into being 18 and loosing everything and everyone you had ever known.

it was later on in that day when you where introduced to the younger generation of jackson

you where nervous going for lunch. settled comfortably in your small living space but nervous to be around so many unfamiliar faces

dressed in a pair of jeans that maria had brought to you and a slightly cropped red t-shirt, you stuck your trusty knife into your pocket and headed to the dining hall.

maria greeted you with a plate of food before instructing you to follow her. you where led to a group of three sat in the corner of the hall

that was the moment you met ellie williams. a girl that became a rather prominent figure in your life.

you got close to ellie, dina and jesse. figuring out you lived within a two minute walk from each other led to many sleepovers and movie nights.

it often ended with you and ellie alone, jesse and dina leaving earlier that night for specific reasons.

ellie, in these moments, would be very quite until you spoke to her. her face shaded red when you looked her way

“i like your tattoo” you’d tell her only to get a stuttered out reply “i um- wow okay thank you? uh yeah i drew it myself”

the first time you held her hand, she swore the world stopped spinning for a moment. you, ellie, jesse and dina had all decided to go on a walk, jesse and dona screaming 80’s music while the two of you strayed behind them.

you’d admire the landscape, spotting the mountains that you came from when you first arrived all them months ago.

the song jesse and dina where yelling put you in a good mood, turning your head towards ellie with a smiled and intertwining your fingers with hers, swinging your arms between you both

ellie would be stunned, so much so that she literally forgot to walk leading you to pull her along until she regained composure.

when dina notices, she sends ellie a wink who blushes a deep red and flips the girl off.

eventually inviting ellie for a sleepover on her own after a long patrol. the only upside being that you had found eugenes stash and brought a jar of pre rolled joints home.

the two of you had smoked one each, your cabin foggy with smoke and music was on in the background.

feeling all giggly, you stood up and reached for ellie’s hand, pulling her onto her feet. the two of you in pyjamas. ellie in boxers and a white t-shirt while you where in underwear and an extremely oversized band shirt.

you turned the music louder and pulled ellie closer, the two of you falling into a sway. your arms over her shoulders while hers where gently placed on your waist, her head falling into your shoulder so you couldn’t see her cheeks dusted pink.

“els” “yeah” “it might just be the weed but are you blushing right now?”

to say she would be embarrassed would be an understatement until…

“it’s cute, real cute. your cute”

ellie’s heart skipped a motherfucking beat. lifting her head up. your faces so close together that you could feel her breath on your face

“don’t say that” “why not? it’s not exactly a secret ellie. i don’t hide my attraction to you”

ellie would be extremely conflicted with your confession. on one hand she was thrilled, over the moon. she had liked you for so long and to know you felt the same way?? it’s just a miracle

bit in the other hand, she was scared. scared that you’d pop out with a ‘haha got you, you should see the look on your face right now’

“what’s going on in that pretty head of yours love”

and that’s when she’d say fuck it. her lips meeting yours in a passionate and long awaited kiss before pulling away just as quick as it happened

“shit. i’m sorry, fuck i didn’t. i read this wrong didn’t i”

no matter what you said, ellie would think it was bullshit so instead you decided to prove it. kissing her with as much passion she had showed earlier, leading you to your bed and marking what was rightfully yours.

pov: i’m missing summer and i’m indulging in my current fixation

picnics all the time and i mean like if she ever sees a cool spot on a walk, beast believe you’ll be back in a day or two with a basket of food and drinks

not the biggest fan of the beach but will go if you wanted to

prefers doing lake days to beach days, something about it being a little more private and less people seeing you in a swimming costume

don’t get her wrong, she loves showing off what’s hers but to a degree. men love to ogle at her beauty of a girlfriend and ellie wasnt about to let them have a free show

water fights with ellie are a must and often happen unannounced

just imagine laying on the grass or sun deck in your back garden and suddenly ellie comes running over with a water gun and just drenching you

going into that point more, she’d also be holding another water gun and when you stand up, she’ll throw it at you so you can actually have a water fight.

as long as it’s a clear night, you best believe that ellie is dragging you into your garden to stargaze

hosting little get togethers, a small kiddy pool in your back garden with friends and family filling your garden. sharing drinks and picking at foods.

now definitely don’t imagine summer clothes shopping with ellie. her sitting and watching as you modelled pretty little summer dresses and co-ords

the dates the two of you would go on in summer are incredible. museum dates, hikes, watching the sunrise and sunsets
