Yeah, I'm a fan of fics with Little Guy Shang Qinghua, but I also really love Slimy Bastard Shang Qinghua.

Real Treacherous Hours Shang Qinghua. Would enthusiastically sell his sect to Mobei Jun for one corn chip Shang Qinghua. Shang Qinghua who is absolutely pulling so many strings, and loving it. Shang Qinghua who *knows* how hot the things he knows how to do are, and uses that for his own ends. Shang Qinghua who DESERVES to be killed as a traitor, but isn't, because he has convinced everyone with power that he is Just A Little Birthday Boy when that is FAR from the case.

Sabo Week Day 5 - Mission(s)

where's the fun in things you specifically do for fun if you can't be extremely self-indulgent at least once?

i love the idea of sabo and law running into each other repeatedly during the timeskip, especially if it's during one of sabo's missions. i want this boy to be silly and have fun so he can ignore the pain that's corroding him from the inside even more than usual, and who would be a better partner-in-crime than trafalgar law himself?

p.s. this was supposed to be kiiind of a "parallel" to day 4 (same but opposite composition, the contrast between teen sabo and ya sabo, etc) but i don't think any person outside of my own self would get it. i'm just too stupid

I do think the fandom has the unfortunate habit of babifying Shang Qinghua, due to both shipping and crocodile tears. I personally like the fact he’s a stone cold shark.

This guy set up an event so deadly it killed a significant number of teenagers— some from his own peak that he trained personally— without any visible trace of remorse. SQQ spent years wallowing in the guilt of throwing his little sheep into the abyss, which he knew he would survive. Meanwhile SQH did that and an unknown amount of other shit without batting an eyelid. That man would sell you out for pocket change.

No wonder Mobei Jun thinks he’s hot. Murdering someone in cold blood must be the demonic equivalent of a sexy hair flip.
