From Anomaly Diversion For the upcoming Chapter 4.
It is that funny.
this was funnier in my head.
found this crusty old comic does anyone know who this guy is
(been wanting to try cmyk dot styled colouring for a while now. it's pretty fun.)
There's still Frodo hate going on in the tags... I really don't get when people get annoyed with Frodo for... getting hurt??? Like it's somehow his own fault? As the Ringbearer, he was a target anyway. And how dare he react like a normal person by crying out in pain when injured! Bruh.
I know he was more stoic in the book after being stabbed by the Morgul blade, and he challenged the Ringwraiths, (which was pretty cool, and sometimes I do love me some "I'm fine" when bro is not fine) but listen. The movie had to move things along more quickly, which meant that the poison had to act more quickly. I maintain that movie Frodo's response to the Ringwraiths when they were coming for him was more relatable.
I hate it when people say hear me out about an objectively hot woman.

The Watch was like, three poor creative decisions away from being good IMO.
Lack of Nobby and Colon messes with the tone, trying to mix Guards, Guards with Night Watch and throwing in other plot lines along the way sent the pacing to the Dungeon Dimensions and there just wasn't room to leave anything as subtext - though I did enjoy Cheery coming out being more overt.
I like the aesthetic and I think Sybil being involved more is a good thing, even if both aspects could have been better.
Talking about women and gender expression in Discworld for my midterm. Dude, it's a shame that The Watch sucked so much because Joe Eaton-Kent was such a cool choice for Cheery. I thought it was really cool that they explored aspects of her gender and "coming out" as female that was mostly just subtext in the Original stories.
(A slide from my visuals)
Forgot to mention, it was £2 apiece and Return of the King (map and last image showed up a week before. Didn't buy them myself due to lack of storage.
In 2023, I had to price these really cool Lord of the Rings DVD sets (I think it was the extended editions).
I wish we'd get this kind of beautiful art on more packaging, even though I know this to be some kind of premium version.
