I also recommend this book! Honestly, Holly Black is just good at writing the fae in general! Read all her faerie books!! I love the Tithe series and her Folk of the Air series, too.

So I’ve decided to share my Grimoire.

I’m writing my grimoire like an instructional book, because if I pretend I’m teaching someone, I tend to explain the concept better, and it flows better.

To work with this, I am going to either post pictures of the book or copy sections to my blog. It begins tomorrow, so let’s hope it goes well!

I do indeed do free readings! Faeries are my specialty.

Why he is helping you: the Three of Wands

Building a firm foundation- more patience and planning are needed before all pieces are in place.

He wants something from you, most likely. He’s getting all his ducks in a row first.

How he found you: the Two of Wands

Awaiting results from something you have started. Be certain the end result is really what you want.

You are likely working on something he would see completed. I can pull another card, but I would rather talk privately about this one- make sure this is something you really want to know.

How he feels about you: the Nine of Swords

Keep quiet and listen; you will find out something that will help you better your life. A cycle of completion follows a job well done.

This can be read one of two ways: 1) he’s not quite ready to interact with you yet, but he wants to help you with this project. When he is ready, you’ll learn something from him, or 2), he feels no attachment to you. You’re a means to an end.

Try to get a better understanding of his motives. If this endgame of his doesn’t harm you, you might let it play out. He’ll probably move on, or maybe he’ll teach you something anyways for your trouble. But, if his endgame will harm you in any way, you need to get rid of him.

Writer friends, I discovered a fun website today. It’s called “I Write Like” and here’s the description: Check which famous writer you write like with this statistical analysis tool, which analyzes your word choice and writing style and compares them with those of the famous writers.  Let me know which autor you got! 

It’s all a matter of respect- respect the fae, they’ll respect you!

Do some research- see if this is a path that you could work with. THEN work with actual fae, because once you start, it’s like the mafia- you never get out.

I’ve always been super curious about working with the fae, but I’m also terrified from what I’ve heard. 😬
