“We lost their mother to a heart attack recently. And their father is overseas trying to find a job. So I’m currently Grandpa, Grandma, Mom, and Dad. Luckily I have five children and eighteen grandchildren, so I’m very experienced. There’s actually one more child at home—he’s eight years old. And none of them can fall asleep unless they are lying next to me. So I have to put the oldest one to sleep first. Then I get up quietly, and lie down between the other two. The only problem is sometimes they fall asleep on top of me.” (Passu, Pakistan)
This person, Gérard Philipe, is my favorite actor and was by all accounts a good and beloved man. I’ve seen a few of his films but had given up on finding the rest, in the US anyway. Today I searched his name on YouTube out of semi-idle curiosity, and found that people have been uploading his films!! There are four of his films on YouTube that I couldn’t find anywhere for years!!!! I am happy. And the man’s screen presence is amazing, you all would benefit from seeing him.

Also, if you understand French (of course the films are more enjoyable but also) he has several recordings of plays and books that are much easier to access from the US than his films, and his voice and expression are exquisite. Among them ‘Ruy Blas,’ (he plays Ruy Blas) ‘Le Cid,’ (he plays Rodrigo), and ‘Le Petit prince,’ (he is the pilot/narrator). Beautiful work.

So based on this post I created an NVCR stained glass memorial wall for all the dead interns, depicting (more or less) how they died. (Many patterns and images taken from google such as the lighthouse and the forest. If you see your pattern pls tell me so I can correctly credit you.) I take requests!
In Pachuca, Mexico, hundreds of houses serve as the canvas for what has been called the country’s largest mural. Each colorfully painted house plays a part in the mosaic – serving the project’s goal of bringing the community together.
Remember: you are beautiful only when you do beautiful things. Full lips aren’t as beautiful as a full laugh. Skinny hips aren’t as attractive as a quick wit. Think about treating others right, and those others will flock to you in screaming droves.
