Robot posting ðĨð
just some small doodles to warm up the brain from last night, I love these goobers (so blurry I'm sorry ð)
I have some ideas in mind revolving these guys
Its been so long since I've seen someone whose agreed! I loved act 3 so much for the uniqueness of it, sometimes I feel like that gets overlooked so much because it doesnt have all the fluff leshy added in his campaign
P03 provides a basic story of what's going on without going in depth much, very much based off of the actual game of inscryption presented in Act 2. But he added so many little things and better ways to enjoy the actual game part of it, from being able to visit shops anytime for different kinds of upgrades and tools, checkpoints so you're entire progress and deck build doesnt get obliterated when you die, pretty good balancing (not counting ouroboros), and small things like interactable NPCS along with the personalities and sometimes stories of the bounty hunters that chase you - dont forget his timed battles for the generators! Those are my personal favorite for small intense fights.
But theres just so much P03 has to offer other than purely ambience and dark story telling, P03 offers more interactivity between the player and the game, not to mention he himself reacting to your plays and his own, smug if he did good and a bit angry if you did good as any true opponent would instead of.. blank undying staring and a spider that appears every once in awhile
One hell of an immersive fun world for a scrybe that's said to only care about mechanics!
Am I the only one who had more fun on P03's campaign than Leshy's? Like, even as somebody who generally prefers story over mechanics in a video game. For being the Scrybe based around story, Leshy's sure left a lot to be desired. Why am I doing what I'm doing? Why do these animals follow me? Who am I? Where am I? There wasn't really a narrative, just flowery description. P03 might've been a little bad at the description part, but at least he tried to build a world and EXPLAIN all those things. Bots follow me because I revive them. I've got a name and vague history for where I am. I've got a goal, the Great Transcendence. Maybe it could've been explained a little more elegantly, and integrated more expertly into a narrative, but I got what was going on. Was Leshy planning on conveying his story to us if he had more time or something? As far as I can tell, there was just ambience and the faintest whisper of a narrative.
And P03 still wins gameplay wise, imho. The interactivity of the bosses was my favorite part of the whole game. I never had as much fun as I had when making a bonkers unfinished boss, or seeing my friends appear as card against G0lly. Bounty hunters and the build-a-card put a smile on my face, too. Couple that with ample ways to customize your deck and mechanics that allow you to feel powerful but never make the game too easy and you get my favorite part of the game. Plus, there's five lanes. Leshy could *never* pull that off.
Nothinh against Leshy. He's great. But. Act 3 best act ð
Maybe hot take here but; No doubt in my mind these two goobers are the exact same, theres no way they're not just clones in different realities
We got two energetic, friendly, maybe a little over the top bots who seem pretty wild but maybe annoying after some time. Only difference I see is one was made to fight you in a card game and the other was just trying to teach about electricity
Heres some art I did of P03 a while ago! I'm still trying to get better at drawing this sexyman so hopefully once I get access to digital art again I'll have some things to share ðĪš
I have never used tumblr before I really like Inscryption but mainly P03, expect to see things like that from me!
