Miniature Book Charms Showcase First Edition Dust Jackets of Classical Literature
California-based boutique Charmed Books’ passion for beautiful and forgotten, vintage pieces of art have redirected their love for classical craftsmanship into creating miniature replicas of the world’s most beloved literary masterpieces. Featuring first edition book covers inspired by antique 1930’s charm, the pieces feature a popular quote from the respective book’s text alongside original illustration on the back.
Composed of sturdy brass, texturized paper to replicate early book bindings, and weather-proofed images, the tiny books measure anywhere from 1 inch to 5/8 inches high. The magical charms feature our favorites from Pride & Prejudice, The Great Gatsby, and other children’s classics, including The Velveteen Rabbit, To Kill a Mockingbird and The Little Prince among others. You can find their entire collection in their Etsy shop.

¨Say that you remember feeling the same about me¨
Millennial Meditations” is a culmination of his interest in the interplay of light, space, and architecture. For thirty years his sculpture has explored the way in which light falls on modulated surfaces. “Secrets of the Sun” uses the emotional impact of art to address the full range of nature from its most elemental expression as pure light to its most complex expression as global ecology.
In “Cromos” and “New Light on Rome” the universal beauty and power of the solar spectrum, one of Nature’s most fundamental forces, is superimposed on the surfaces and structure of some of the most beautiful public buildings in Italy.
Because the sun’s angle, intensity and color continually change with the hour, day, and season, the art, the ancient monuments, the trains and the stations are continually perceived in a fresh, new light.“ - Peter Erskine’s website.
