Please understand that us Carlos’ fans are smart enough to comprehend that the driver we like is indeed taking time to adjust to the car and under no circumstances we suggested he and Alex are running on different cars (why would Williams even do that, I don’t know, but oh well).
That shit taking was from Spanish journalists that, uh, just like Italian ones make absolute shit up for Ferrari drivers, they make shit up for Spanish ones, and British ones for British drivers and Dutch ones for-
Anyway, point is, not from us.
Maybe it’s the people starting pointing unnecessary fingers actually bringing the toxicity, just to say.
Remember when Charles said he will miss “Carlos the person”? It’s soo devastating because four years is a really long time to be so close to someone and then realize you won’t be able to be as close anymore. It’s the most sincere answer he could have given because it’s not just about the racing or the fun or the banter it’s about having a teammate you can get along with so well that you will genuinely miss HIM and that is such a unique and rare teammate relationship and I’m glad they could experience it. And now that they’re no longer teammates we can still see how they’re always happy to see each other and how sometimes it still looks like they’re teammates when they’re walking together in the paddock or talking during the drivers’ parade because they still genuinely like spending time together and I think that’s beautiful.
We can put it in James’ office 🖼️

Carlos Sainz arriving at Hotel Martinez for the Cannes Film Festival by Josh Osuna
Fining a driver for being late to a National Anthem an eye watering amount (20x the maximum fine for breaching the pit lane speed limit) is already quite something, but when you take into account that:
Said driver was late due to a medical issue personally attested to by an official Med-Ex doctor;
Who found the medical issue serious enough to require prescription medication to treat symptoms; and
Said driver is the new director of the GPDA (an association that specifically exists to promote the safety of Grand Prix drivers) -
- we have reached a level of irony so comedic one would be forgiven for thinking this would happen in a fanfiction rather than reality.
Yet the FIA have once again surpassed all expectations.
nobody panic, he’s starting to use his most intimate and genuine love language (violence) with Alex
charles and carlos being attached at the hip every race weekend might actually heal me atp
carlos using williams’ pre race podcast to speak so earnestly about the impermanence and instability that comes with life while racing and travelling for racing and how he eventually has come to think of home as a person and then put roots down after struggling to do so for so long and wishing the same to happen for alex soon oh my god. my baby boy. i love you so much you’re a beautiful little freak
I feel like there aren't enough people are talking about that Lando vs George battle.
Haters love to yell that Lando isn’t aggressive enough, doesn’t go for it, plays it too safe. But he was glued to George’s rear wing. Had him sweating about his tyres the entire time.
Lando was relentless. Smart, clean, and aggressive. George definitely held his own, but Lando had that dog in him the whole time.
Just because he’s not dramatic about it doesn’t mean he isn’t lethal on track. He said he wanted to have fun this weekend, and honestly? He looked like he was having the time of his life out there.
