I LOVE DOING THESE
We're told his heritage is mixed (his mother half Indonesian- half dutch, his father a demon), and that he was born in Batavia, the Dutch East Indies. Batavia was named only in 1619, after the arrival of VOC, while the Indies themselves were created only later, in the early 1800. Magnus' mother must've been born about the same time, her father probably one of the Dutch officers. Her birth was possibly only in the last 400 years, which means Magnus can't be older. If he were to be born in Batavia, The East Indies, he should've been born in the last 400 years (if not 200). What sort of vital information am I missing that the age we were provided (800) just doesn't make sense to me? Can someone please make sense of the mess I've made of the whole story?
sketches for @tane-p‘s illustrated ceramic mug commission, of her grumpy boy Barsic. i’m still accepting them, so head over to this post if you’re interested!
A commission I made for a client of his DnD party. It’s meant to be a t-shirt design, which I think is really cool and forced me to work in a very different style than what I’m used to.
The top character is half an innocent-seeming human party member, half his true form- and evil lich who turns out to be the final boss fight. I loved working on this, and I hope to get more commissions like this in the future!
