Twice & Toga, huddled around Toga’s phone.

Toga: “Hey, Dabi, come check out this funny video.”

Dabi, walking over and watching the video, a jump scare with a scary image and a scream pops up. Twice jumps and Dabi stands still— unimpressed.

Dabi: “You’re gonna have to try harder than that.”

Toga: “Dammit.”

Toga, standing in the kitchen.

Toga: “Hey, Dabi? Could you help me out? I can’t reach the pot on the top shelf of the pantry!”

Dabi: “Yeah, whatever.”

Dabi, opening the pantry door, Twice jumping out and yelling.

Dabi, calmly reaching past Twice and grabbing the pot.

Dabi: “Hey, Twice.”

Dabi, closing the door.

Twice from inside the pantry: “Dammit.”

Toga: “DABI! COME QUICK!”

Dabi, walking into the room and seeing Spinner lying dramatically on the ground.

Twice: “SPINNER’S DEAD!”

Dabi: “Hm. Most Geckos cap out around 15 years, so he was kind of past his prime.”

Spinner, opening one eye: “Fuck you, dude.”

Dabi: “You guys aren’t going to scare me.”

Twice & Toga: “Dammit.”

Toga: “We’ve tried everything. I don’t know what else we can do.”

Twice: “We’re never going to scare Dabi… Anyway, I ordered a pizza. It should be here soon.”

Dabi, walking into the room.

There’s a knock at the door and a voice saying “Pizza!”

Dabi’s eyes widen and he drops to the floor for cover.

Twice & Toga, both remembering what happened the last time the League was delivered a pizza.

No bc I fr paced up and down my room, phone in hand with the draft open on ao3, just physically unable to press the post button for like a good 10 mins with a mantra of "Should I really post this shit??" Bc 1, it's my first ever fic, and 2, it was based around a recent heartbreak, so I was sweating, but then I ended up overthinking to the point of having yet another existential crisis of "who tf cares, I am a spec in this vast, unending universe and we're all gonna die one day." So I was like "Fuck it.", posted it, turned of my phone and took a nap lol

After that, it was easier :)

i get so happy when people that are new to fanfic writing, or just writing in general, post their work on ao3. despite their doubts, despite their fear of something so personal and vulnerable being perceived, they still press that button, and i turn into the equivalent to a proud mom cheering on the sidelines. like yes! you did that! your work is worth seeing! you deserve to share your passion for and be part of a community! i’m so proud of you!
