ghost boys (and finney)
Finney: Chat, what do we think?
The ghost boys: Don't call us that.
can we please revive the black phone fandom i need it back please please please please please please please please
the black phone movie is wrong. robin arellano can't die in 1978. he needs to be alive when the first alien movie comes out in 1979 so that he and finn can bond over it as a combination of their interests in space and horror movies respectively
i don’t think i ever recovered after watching this movie,
Rinney as danganronpa pixels, i love it 🦄🍻
Admit it, the man has taste.
Nobody:
Absolutely nobody:
Me remembering random conversations between my favorite ships:
F: “What?”
R: “Hey, Finn. What’s happening?”
F: “Robin?”
R: “Hey, buddy. Don’t cry.”
F: “I’m not.”
R: “Yes you are. I can see you.”
F: “You can?”
R: “I’m with you. I’ve been with you this whole time.”
F: “You have?”
R: “A man never leaves a friend behind. My dad didn’t leave his buddies behind when he went to Nam. That’s why he didn’t come home. And I’m not coming home either. And I’m not going to leave you behind.”
F: “We’ll be together again soon.”
R: “Fuck that. You ain’t gonna go like I did.”
F: “I’ve tried everything, nothings worked.”
R: “Yet.”
F: “Robin—”
R: “Do you remember what I told you?”
F: “That I needed to see Texas chainsaw massacre?”
R: “Before that.”
F: “That someday I have to stand up for myself.”
R: “Someday is today, Finn. Today is the day you stop taking shit from anybody.”
F: “I’m not a fighter like you, Robin, and you couldn’t even take him.”
R: “You’ve always been a fighter, Finn. That’s what we have in common, why we were friends. You were always afraid to throw a punch, but you always knew how to take one. And you always got back up. Every time.”
F: “I’m not strong enough.”
R: “You have to be. You’re getting out of here. If you can’t do it for you, do it for me.”
F: “What does it matter?”
R: “Because I don’t want to die for nothing. I want to at least have died for a friend. And because I can’t kill that hijo de puta, you have to do it for me.”
F: “How?”
R: “You’re going to use a weapon.”
F: “What weapon?”
R: “The one in your hand.”
F: “The phone?”
R: “Fill the receiver with dirt, pack it in tight, give it some heft.”
F: “Then what?”
R: “Then you practice. Over and over and over. You raise the phone, take a fast step back, step forward, step back, and swing! Try it.”
F: “No.”
R: “Yes. You raise the phone, take a fast step back, step forward, step back, and swing! Again. You raise the phone, take a fast step back, step forward, step back, and swing! Again. You raise the phone, take a fast step back, step forward, step back, and swing! Again. You raise the phone, take a fast step back, step forward, step back, and swing! You got it. Now fill the phone with dirt like I told you.”
F: “Will I still be able to talk with you?”
R: “This was the last call, Finn. It’s all you from here on.”
F: “I’ll miss you, Robin.”
R: “Then do it right by me. Get out of here.”
F: “I will.”
R: “Bye, Finn.”
F: “Bye, Robin.”
