I’d honestly love it if throughout the new season, the entire “Crystal King” character is built up by everyone to be the most powerfully corrupt, dangerously despicable form of evil the ninja have yet to face, and there’s practically no chance of defeating him…
Only for Oni/Evil/Corrupted/Whatever new version of Lloyd to completely Oh-Koh him in one shot without breaking a sweat while he’s in the middle of his evil speech of something, and suddenly the rest of the team realize who the real final boss is.
Just so everyone is clear on where I stand: I love getting @'d in posts. I love it when people want to show me things. I get so happy about the fact that you saw something you thought I might like. I don't care if we aren't mutuals. I don't care if you think I might have already been tagged. Please never be afraid of just showing me shit. Thank u.
[Ninjago] Almost forgot to post these…anyways lloyd art, s5 doodles, plus rgb siblings bc I love em :)
Every url that reblog’s will be written in a book and shown to my homophobic dad.
Whens the next chapter for so you came back for me coming out🥲
I need to know what happensss
It'll be a while, I think? *sweats nervously* Although chapter five's already at 4.5k words so far, it's far from finished. I guess this one is going to be a bit longer than the rest I've put out so I apologize for the wait. 😅
after crystalized first aired there were so many people who were like “jay should’ve had more grieving screentime” like shut UPPPPP kai and lloyd should’ve had more then 1.5 minutes each and kai should’ve ripped the shit out of jay. kai deserves to kick his ass
SO FUCKING TRUE ANON YOU GET ME!!! Jay needs LESS screen time good god I don’t care anymore he got TWO seasons to himself LET KAI AND LLOYD GREIVE THEIR SISTER!!!!!
Right, this is gonna sound really fucked up — and you're all going to hate me for this — but I actually want Lloyd to die at some point in the show.
And that...is because of these two:
Give me a dumb scene about Kai and Garmadon yelling at each other because of each other's grief and eventually having this moment of clarity where they realize that Lloyd wouldn't want them to do this and all that shit. Give me Kai spitting out "he was my brother" and Garmadon replying with an anguished "he was my son" and them connecting with one another through their grief. Give me a plot of a season that doesn't end with them bringing Lloyd back. Get Garmadon and Kai to sort out their differences throughout their shared loss or whatever. Y'all don't understand how much I need this.
What if Harumi decided to torture Lloyd, unhinge him, before speaking to him and explaining everything to him in Crystallized? And what if she decided to do that by playing out on his biggest fear—becoming his father?
Just a quick trigger warning: blood, dead bodies, and mentioned cannibalism
_________________________________________
It felt like an eternity had passed before Lloyd finally opened his eyes. Shapes and figures were blurred—colors mixed with no distinct outlines—and he instinctively covered his eyes to block the harsh light. But when his vision adjusted, oh how he wished he could return to the previous moments of visionless bliss. With his vision, the rest of his senses suddenly appeared—something he didn’t even notice was gone in the first place.
He wasn’t sure how he could’ve missed the stench of blood that hung in the air or the deafening screams of unseen citizens. Fog hung low in the air, and greedy fires emitted the harsh light he was just covering from, eating his city away. He stepped back, only to have his foot splash in a pool of blood, triggering his gag reflex.
As he tried to take in his surroundings—to comprehend what he was seeing—a woman stumbled in front of him, snapping him awake. Her clothes, or at least what wasn’t torn, were caked with mud and blood. Her hair was torn in places, and her clear scalp was covered with scratches, just like the rest of her body. He reached out a hand, but, to his utter confusion, she screamed.
“PLEASE NO! Spare me, my lord,” she faced him, eyes brimming with tears, “I have kids! Four of them! Please don’t kill me!”
“Ma’am, I’m only trying to help,” he raised his hands in an assuring manner, “You can tell me where your kids are, and I’ll help you get back to them. I promise.”
She slowly crawled away from him, her whole body shaking like a leaf, repeating, “Not my kids,” over and over again.
“I swear I’m only trying to help!” He took a deep breath, “You might be new here, but I’m the Green Ninja, you know? Helping people is my thing.”
He took a step forward, and, God, if he stabbed her, she wouldn’t have screamed as much as she did.
“PLEASE DON’T KILL ME!”
“Alright, lady, calm down,” his frustration grew with every passing second, and he was barely keeping it in check, “Listen, I’ll leave you, alright? I don’t see any dangers in our immediate surroundings; just stay safe, find your kids, and leave the hell out of here. Sounds good?”
She darted off as fast as her legs could carry her, and he took it as a yes.
Confusion and guilt swarmed his brain as he walked through the streets. The few people he met—all ragged and wounded—reacted similarly, screaming and running left and right. And his friends were nowhere to be seen.
Man, he thought, they sure would be a great load of help right now.
Before he turned onto the next street, the horrible odor intensified, striking his nose strongly, but it was mixed with something else this time. Rotten bananas? No, he pulled out his weapons as realization hit him, It was the smell of bodies; thousands of them concentrated in one place, and a quick look proved his suspicions.
What the hell?
He was about to turn his back to that horrid street, but another realization took control of his limbs, first walking, then running to the heap. His friends…
He scanned the pile for any sign of the—red hair, scarred hands, their gis—anything. In desperation, he prepared himself to climb the heap, but one familiar voice dissolved his doubts, stopping him short. Kai’s.
“What, did you turn to cannibalism already?”
“If you’re searching for something fresh, check the other street; those are days old,” Cole added.
With these remarks, Lloyd expected to see a smile or a smirk on his friends’ faces—not the disgust deeply engraved there.
“Guys, thank God you’re here! Where were you? What happened here?” Shock laced his voice as he studied their torn gis and their fresh wounds, “And where are the others?”
“Not that you care anyway, but they should be coming soon—wouldn’t wanna miss that,” Cole tightened his grip on his hammer, “Now, do you want the easy way or the hard way?’
“What?”
“Dude’s obviously hungry; he probably wants the easy way,” Kai said.
Lloyd put down his sword, shaking his head, “Ha ha, real funny. But can either of you explain what’s going on?”
“Maybe ask yourself, master of destruction,” Nya’s voice, thick with hatred, echoed from behind him before he felt her trident against his back, “Move, and another body will be added to the pile.”
“Nya!” he exclaimed, “Are you OK?”
“That’s hilarious, Lloyd, or should I call you Lord Lloyd, now?” Jay walked into his field of vision, followed closely by Zane.
“You know, at this point, I’m sick of asking, but—”
“He appears to be trying a new strategy,” Zane interrupted.
“What’s it called? Acting all whiny and confused?” Cole’s voice dripped with sarcasm
“Not working so far,” Jay replied, “You need to work on your strategies, Lloyd.”
“Jay, dear, how about we don’t give him any suggestions, mhm? He already conquered Ninjago in less than a week,” Nya said.
“This isn’t funny, guys!” Lloyd protested, “Cut it out!”
He searched their faces for any hints of their condition; whatever caused this might have corrupted them against him, somehow convincing him that he was the root of all this chaos. Their faces, however, showed nothing but anger, hatred, and… was that fear on Jay’s face? And pain in Kai’s eyes?
He held Kai’s glance, trying to speak to him without words, but Kai, who was uncharacteristically quiet, said, “Let’s get it over with.”
“What?!”
Nya struck Lloyd on his head, disorienting him, while Zane froze his feet to the ground. With a quick strike to his wrist, Lloyd’s sword dropped from his hand, and Nya quickly kicked it out of his reach. His other friends encircled him, pulling weapons from pouches on their backs.
Not any weapons.
The Golden Weapons.
An inhuman growl escaped his throat as his heart burned with hurt and shock; his limbs elongated, sending sears of pain through his bones. A new pair of arms sprouted above his waist, sending him into a panic. His eyes filled with tears, refusing to accept what they saw—his Oni form.
No! There’s no way!
It can’t be!
“NOW!” his friends shouted, before jumping at him with weapons directed at his body.
He woke up, gasping, with tears running down his cheeks. His sweaty hands grasped his body, almost expecting himself to be wrapped in bandages but feeling the cloth of his gi instead. The chains around his waist stopped him from sitting up, and the fabric around his eyes prevented him from seeing his surroundings.
A weird laugh, some sort of evil cackle, erupted next to him, “Well, that went better than expected.”
Harumi.
A mixture of feelings squirmed in his gut—panic, sadness, confusion, and, yes, some longing—before finally settling on anger.
“What was that?” His voice rose with every word, burning his throat.
“Oh, nothing, just a little fear serum we wanted to use before you meet the Crystal King.”
How were the ninja managing to take care of little hellspawn throughout the seasons? Did her existence changed certain events or did the seasons plot stay the same?
Also little hellspawn hugging her daddy when he's sad after the oni trilogy and being adorable comforting him
P.S: i can't think about any right now but how about names that start with L to match her dad? maybe search some on google?
Hmmmm. Well, I would say MOST of the events stayed the same with her existence. Not all, but MOST. I'll answer until Season 10 first.
So she would have to be born during Season 3, before Lloyd lost his Golden Power. There are two options here. One is that it was an ordinary day at Garmadon's monastery and Lloyd just happened to be experimenting a little with his powers, while the other one is that she was born while Lloyd and Garm were on the run from the Overlord. It's also Lloyd's fault for not listening to his dad about being careful of overusing his powers. Take your pick.
Although I personally love chaos * inserts maniacal laughter *, I'll be using the first one for this post. (I might write another one about the second option if there's a lot of interest in it though, but right now that's kinda hard to work with)
Rebooted
She's like six months old here, and Misako takes the kid while Lloyd and Sensei G are on the run from the Overlord. Garmadon still isn't quite happy with the fact his son just spawned a kid at the age he currently is, and Lloyd on the other hand is still a disaster when it comes to children. They somehow manage to work it out though. She's also present at Zane's funeral.
Tournament of Elements
The season where our new dad literally leaves his kid sleeping in his dad's monastery to compete in a noodle guy's tournament. (Sigh) She's about a year old here. And eventually, her grandad leaves too but his is actually an attempt to knock some sense into her father, but even he doesn't come back either so...
Possession
About fifteen months old.
While helping Wu set up the tea shop, Lloyd left her alone long enough for her to get her hands on Montrositea and use it on a plant.
While being possessed, Morro would often torment Lloyd by showing him nightmarish visions of him hurting her whenever he tried to fight back. On one occasion, he had a nightmare that he caused her death while being possessed, and without even a single ounce of control to stop it from happening.
Skybound
Around 2. I like to think that Lloyd would be the type of person to keep their kid out of the spotlight ya know?Considering how much the press had been on him after the Final Battle. And, I also like to think that the fact that the Green Ninja even had a kid was leaked shortly after Stiix. Just imagine the fan girls scene in the first episode of Skybound... but ten times worse.
While they were in jail, the kid got taken by CPS. After they broke out, Lloyd found her and gave her to Dareth in the middle of the night after literally breaking into the dude's apartment. Since the events of Skybound were erased, this no longer happened, and no one remembers this.
Day of the Departed
3 years old. She goes with Misako & Lloyd to light a lantern for Garmadon in the Corridor of Elders. She also thought Pythor was actually an overgrown tape worm, well maybe that's what he was in the Great Devourer's belly.
Morro felt really guilty for what he did to Lloyd while possessing him. So much so that the guy even apologized.
Hands of Time
Still 3. (I can't do much with this season because I didn't really finish it) But let's just say, Krux thought her eyes were a bit creepy.
Sons of Garmadon
Well, I think I've already explained this one before.
But if you're interested in some pre SOG info : The kid started to notice her dad's voice pitching deeper but whenever she points that out, Lloyd just laughs. It's only until the team comments about it in The Mask of Deception does he actually realize she was right. During the year the team is searching for Wu, he lives in the city with her and Pixal—who's a lifesaver whenever he gets a bit clueless on things about children's development. She's about 4 here by the way.
Bonus; she fell really ill at some point during the year they were searching for Wu and Lloyd took her to Mystake, hence explaining Mystake's familiarity with Lloyd in Season 8. (This was before his voice completely settled btw)
Hunted
The kid stays with Lloyd in Ninjago, and does her best to cheer her dad up after the death of his friends. It goes to a point where Lloyd actually snaps at her, something which makes him feel utterly terrible moments later. (It's stress from everything bruh. His friends just died and the city's under the rule of his tyrannical resurrected father. Give him a BREAK)
And do you remember that scene where Misako and some of the EMs got arrested by the SOG? Little hellspawn was one of them and this really sent Lloyd and Nya into fucking panic mode for the most of the season.
However, she was actually unharmed. Emperor Garmadon basically took one look at her and decided he kind of liked this kid, I guess? (* insert Harumi seething in the corner *) Kind of like Maleficent and young Aurora vibes, if you get what I mean.
The season ended like it originally did though. The Resistance members in Kryptarium broke out, and Garmadon was arrested.
March of the Oni
Nya bought her a green kimono while shopping for her own blue one. Hellspawn also caught Jay practicing his proposal to Nya but decided to keep it to herself.
Garmadon also requested Lloyd bring her while visiting him, but Lloyd decided not to and went alone. Garmadon wasn't quite pleased.
When the ninja heard about the dark cloud thing happening in Ninjago City, Lloyd told his kid to stay in the monastery, but of course—like a certain demon child that once snuck on a Serpentine bus—she snuck aboard the bounty. Lloyd almost lost his shit when he found out.
After Garmadon was released from the prison, he tried to get closer to the young hellspawn while on the bounty, getting to know her etc. Lloyd wasn't happy with that, and told him off immediately, having very little trust in this version of his father.
Hellspawn helped Garmadon to understand humanity after Lloyd yelled at him about survival in The Fall. He doesn't quite understand everything, but he gets a somewhat picture of what it means. Of what there's more to life than survival means.
When it was time for the final fight in the monastery, Lloyd suddenly picked her up and handed her to Misako despite her protests & attempts to bite him.
At the end of the season, Garmadon doesn't immediately leave. Instead, he attempts to stay behind as his four-armed resurrected self merely to remain close with hellspawn (maybe it's also cuz she begged him not to leave when he wanted to lol). But what I'm saying is, the only reason this guy is still in the monastery is hellspawn, not Lloyd, not Wu, not Misako. Just this tiny young girl who looks a lot like a blonde boy he faintly remembers. But Lloyd here believes his father is up to something and (I really hate to say this, but for the sake of Crystalized's events I have to 😭), but Lloyd basically just yells at Garmadon to leave, and he does. Poor guy's trust issues are damn severe.
And hmmmm, names starting with L it is.
Trying to get back into drawing ft. Lloyd!!
Lloyd, after finally giving dating another chance : Guys, I think I've found the one.
Kai (chokes on coffee) : W-What—
Nya : See? I told you that there's other fish in the sea.
Zane : Congratulations on overcoming your traumatic experience, Lloyd.
Jay : Why, won't you look at that! Damn I thought I'd have to set you up with the new Starfarer lead—
Cole : Wow. Who's the lucky girl?
Lloyd walks to the fridge while smirking at Cole : ....meet cake.
Lloyd and Lord G are my coping mechanism. I'm also on FFNet and AO3 And yeah, I can't draw.
