From my vantage point: The calm before the storm is not just a phrase. Saw it heading in my direction as it turned and twisted its way through the mighty canyons. You would notice the lightning at the start of the video. Winds blowing so hard that snowflakes hurt you. I was able to get some footage in, while my friends were screaming, asking me to get back in the car, to drive away from the storm. I'm grateful to my friends who are mostly willing to bear my craziness. But it's experiences and moments like these that are so moving and changing.
