i have been waiting to get to this moment for such a long time. this panel is so beautiful. thorfinn having a fit of rage after swearing off violence reminded him that this journey he’s taking is difficult. to choose kindness and peace in a world of violence is a challenge. yet all he wishes for is the strength to be gentle.

it takes courage to admit that you let yourself react to your rage, even for just a moment. thorfinn doesn’t see this as an opportunity to unleash his revenge but as a lesson. walking a path of peace isn’t as easy as it seems, especially when his past is constantly causing issues for him in the present. but he takes it as a sign that he has more room to grow.

even though he’s upset with himself, this alone shows how far he’s come on his journey. he can admit he was angry and wishes to be better, and given how driven he is, i know thorfinn will continue to grow kinder because of this moment of anger.

this scene is just so beautiful in every way. the art, the writing, and the character growth. thorfinn is such an amazing character and a testament to changing for the better. i’m just loving him more and more throughout this series, and i’m so glad a character like him exists. <333

started watching vinland saga and i honestly did not expect to be as hooked as i currently am. 4 episodes into s1 and i already cried, laughed, and got attached to the characters. thors was such an amazing father & became such an incredible person i was so sad to see him die. watching thorfinn go from a naive, happy child, to now being so full of rage made my heart break. i’m scared yet excited to see thorfinn’s journey since i’ve heard SO MANY great things!!!

as much as i wish haikyuu was getting another season, i already know i'm going to be crying my eyes out watching tobio and shoyo achieve their dreams on the big screen. so many great scenes are going to be animated in the movies and i just hope the studio takes good care of it. i just love haikyuu so much...it's so special and i just hope it amplifies the manga's beauty.

poutyama i am so fond of you…i forget at times how childish he can be but then i remember that he’s literally the baby of his team AND family. he’s just so cutie 😭

“you can fly even higher” is better than any love confession ever written. kageyama believed in hinata’s potential & knew he was bound to become even better. he set the ball EVEN HIGHER because he knew HINATA WOULD BE THERE!! kags had faith in his partner & never doubted him. even when kenma was caging hinata in, kageyama didn’t let that change anything. if kageyama sets a toss, hinata will be right there. it’s a bond that didn’t take long to form but will last a lifetime. I LOVE KAGEHINA 😭😭

first season kagehina will always have a soft spot in my heart. their little smiles in this scene makes me so happy!!! THEY WERE SO EXCITED TO OFFICIALLY BE ON KARASUNO!! to finally be on a TRUE team meant the world to them. especially when they had to work together in order to get daichi’s approval. tobio, the boy who was afraid no one can accept him and shoyo, the boy who never thought he would have a real team. their lives would change forever after joining karasuno. this starts the beginning of a lifelong rivalry & a love for volleyball that lasts forever!!

as first years, especially in s1, they were eager to prove themselves. i just love how excited they are when it comes to the little things in volleyball. most people would just brush it off that they got onto their schools team, but to kagehina it means the world!!
