currently on water 7 arc and i saw some people say zoro doesn’t care about the crew as much but as i’m watching it’s very clear HE DOES! he’s just very big on tough love i feel. he isn’t gonna sugarcoat things or be swept by emotions which is important in a friend group i think! he’s very stable, very reliable. he’s going to be a reminder that you need to push through. all his fights he’s always on the brink of death yet doesn’t allow himself to give up. zoro is resilient.
with the usopp vs luffy situation, it’s clear he is bothered by it but he won’t allow luffy to stay in his feelings. after all, as the captain he has to worry about the state of the crew. i just really love that about zoro. he’s someone that’s going to remind you to stand up. he won’t let you stay upset, but will be there to tell you to keep moving forward. he keeps you pushing on.
zoro’s like the rock of the crew in my eyes! his resilience keeps everyone calm & collected in a crisis. he’s someone you can rely on when you have a problem!
this breaks my heart. he was just a kid who wanted to make his dad proud :(
Imagine waking up after a 3-year coma, in an unfamiliar place full of unfamiliar people, your body has completely changed, your voice changed, and all you can remember is the vivid memory of your family and the devastating events that occurred. He might’ve evolved physically, he is a teenager now, but the voice in his head is still the one of a child, Touya didn’t grow up mentally yet. The first thing Touya thought about was his family, how he felt like he wronged them and the terrible things he said, he wanted to apologise to them, he wanted to see dad again, he wanted to show him everything because his dad never made it to Sekoto peak. He was confused, scared, worried and these creepy strangers telling him that he can’t leave, that this is his new family, and he doesn’t know for what intentions he was brought here. Touya thinking of excuses as to why his dad hasn’t come to visit him, there must be a reason, and he tries to be understanding, because he cannot yet accept the harsh truth.
Rip my heart apart now will you? 🫠
yona of the dawn does found family so well. every single member of the happy hungry bunch has a connection between the other characters in the group. it isn’t just ONE person who has a deeper connection to everyone but EVERYONE has their own individual connection that we see grow during the manga. they all offer something different to the group that makes the chemistry incredible. they are my favorite depiction of found family across all media. kusanagi wrote these characters so beautifully and put so much care in their familial bond and it makes loving them so easy for me!! HAPPY HUNGRY BUNCH I’LL LOVE YOU FOREVER <3
what i love about the apothecary diaries is that maomao simply loves the work she does and jinshi pops out of the corner simply admiring her. it’s so beautiful to see how maomao worked hard to get to the point where she’s highly respected by noblemen while jinshi finds her so breathtaking. he’s so captivated by her every move and isn’t afraid to show his feelings i just love their dynamic so very much!!
haikyuu as a whole is so motivational for me but something about the idea of hinata shoyo in the winter that makes me so inspired. he bikes all the way to school AND back, no matter how cold or hot it is outside. he works so hard all year round and i just hope to match his work ethic someday.
The way Giyuu screamed Tanjirou's name... he cares about him so, so much.
i miss greed island arc so much. it was so much fun watching it the first time. there was so many sweet moments between killua & gon. it just felt like a great adventure!! with bisky being there helping the boys get stronger, they learned so much about their techniques. it’s not as “drama” filled or intense as the other arcs, but i loved watched killugon get closer and learn! just a very comforting arc overall!
i finished alabasta saga!! alabasta arc is 100% my fav arc so far!! so much fun, the story was amazing, the writing was great
i loved meeting ace! he was so much better than i expected! i knew he was a fan favorite but he was so much sweeter and kinder than i thought he would be!
robin’s character is very interesting to me & i’m excited she has joined the straw hats! i have always wanted to see more of her and i’m hoping i get more info on her soon!
vivi is amazing! her character was so beautiful & i felt myself get more invested in the story because of how strongly she felt about her situation. i hope we get to see her again one day!
this saga was so much fun! i switched between the manga & anime and i thought it was the best way for me! i’m so excited to see what comes next!
the ending i deserved
(kofi request) the scene we had all been anticipating 💙
