The thing about the not canon but definitely canon ships is that there is room for imagination. The author gives you enough to imagine but doesn’t give you exactly what you need so you imagine.

This is why writers abandon stories. It’s not that we don’t love them, it’s because we don’t want to love them alone.

I just want fics about arco/reborn, like it’s so hard to even find new good khr fanfics these days cuz the fandom is dead but has never anyone thought of the potential of a power bottom reborn?? If I had the talent to write I would have written so many arco/reborn fics on ao3 to the point it’s just my works under that tag but I can’t write to save my life so I’m here just lamenting over the fact that I cannot ever read something like “Sunny Skies Ahead by Ourliazo” on ao3.

The thing about reborn’s harem is that it keeps growing. After picking the arcobaleno as his main harem, he keeps plucking randoms on the streets and it makes the arcobaleno jealous to the point that they may have offed or erased some out of spite.

lowkey guys, remember to write for yourself too. i abandoned my favorite wip of all time for two years because i thought other people wouldn’t like it. that sucked, and i decided to stop caring if other people will think it’s weird and write what i like. it’s made me a lot happier since i’ve accepted that

people always talk about leaving comments on ao3 like it's a nice thing to do, or the best way to encourage writers to keep writing, or overall like it's how you Do Your Part in fandom

and yeah, all those things are true, but having spent the past few months leaving enthusiastic comments on as many things as i can, i have a different perspective

you should leave comments on fics because it's fun

taking the time to stop and focus on what i like about a story has made me way more aware of what's going on in stories and what i like about them. there's bit more actual comprehension and appreciation and not just beaming content into my eyes to fill time

i like noticing cool little things in fics, or riffing on funny events. i've never been very good at speculating or picking apart characters, but sometimes something clicks and it rocks.

and of course it's pretty nice when you get a response and it's clear you've made another person happy

so yeah, you should leave comments for your own sake, too. it makes reading better!
