(Just A Little Drabble That I’ve Had In My Head For Months, Barbarian!Bakugou X Black!Earth Princess!Reader

So I read @crikeygatormate outlaw Bakugou book right (go read it it had my fuckin eyes rollin back). Anyways as I was saying, so I was reading it a few days ago and then I realized that it took place in the yee-haw, good ol’ Mercia times right. Then I started imagining what they’re accents sounded like… tell me why I started trying to impersonate it and it came out as a mixture a a London accent and a New Zealand accent. I was so embarrassed for myself that I had to stop reading for a few seconds so I could center myself and remember that I were in that time period I would prob be a slave, but it’s like whatever cus that shit still had my back archin, I was squeezing the bedsheets for dear life. Just had to get that off my chest ;)

Thinking about Prohero!Bakugou and his sidekick

Thinking about how your fresh out of college, ready to finally become a prohero and work your way up in Dynamites’ agency, starting as his sidekick; but no, he has you running around the city like a fucking errand boy

You hate it so much, wanting to rip your hair out every time he yells at you for getting his coffee order ‘fucking wrong’, even though you know that you got it right. Everyday your on the brink on quitting, only staying because you don’t want to hear your older brothers and father berate you for not being able to take it, for not being able to take the ‘real world’.

You wonder why he’s so mean to you, you really do; you’ll take any advice to stop him from trying to make your dream come true a burden. You cry almost every night from the shit he puts you through, you just can’t take it anymore, so one day you go up to his best friend; Red Riot.

You ask “How do I make Dynamite like me, or at least not hate me?” He’s taken aback, wondering how you can be so oblivious.

“You mean bakubro?” You nod, anxiously waiting for an answer. “He doesn’t hate you, he actually favors you out of anyone in this building. Why do you think he hasn’t fired you yet?” He says, smirking at you naiveness.

“There’s no way he doesn’t hate me, there’s literally no fucking way!” You say to yourself, deep in thought. “If you don’t believe me, go ask him yourself” The red haired hero shrugs, pointing to your boss.

“W-wait, I didn’t want to ask hi-” “What the hell are you doing ya’ fuckin extra, it ain’t ya’ break yet!!” He yells at you, grabbing your shoulder to turn you around.

“Yes sir” you whisper as you swiftly walk pass him, shivering as you enter your part of your shared office.

“What the hell was she talkin to you about” He grunts, looking at your backside as you shut the door. “Go ask her yourself bakubro” He smiles as the blond, walking away from his friend as he hears his childhood friend scoff as he turns on his heel, walking towards you.

Exhaling as you close the door to you pathetically cramped space you call your ‘office’. You sit down as you get to work, huffing as you only spent two minutes out there, your break only being five minutes anyway. “Fucking asshole, I was only out there for a few minutes” you think to yourself as you log yourself back in to your computer.

Zoning out into your world as you begin working again, only to be interrupted by a rough hand slamming onto desk. Startled by the sudden disturbance, you look up, cursing in your head as you see the flaming hero staring into you soul.

“What the hell were you talking about with shitty hair?” He demands, catching you off guard. “Um…” You stall thinking of a lie as you see him getting angry. “WELL” he seethes, getting closer to your face.

Saying fuck it, you tell him. “I was asking Red Riot for advice” You say, directing your attention at your desk as you see his eye twitch.

“WELL WHAT ADVICE YOU FUCKING MORON” He screams at you, making you flinch at his voice. “I… I was asking him how to make you not hate me, and how to make you stop yelling at me” You say, feeling a surge of regret as you see him smile.

“Isn’t it obvious you idiot, I love to see you mad, frustrated, on the brink of tears.” He says, grinning at the way your eyes widen.

What the fuck

“Huh?” You ask, taken aback at his answer. “It’s so satisfying hearing you cry from this small ass office, knowing that I caused it. It’s so hard not to fuck you on this messy ass desk when I see you tearing up.”

You knew he was kinda messed up, you you didn’t know it was this bad

“So how about you turn off that computer and let me make you cry again?”
