this week has been really rough due to my cats passing. it feels silly to be that attached to a cat but he was a staple of my life.

but this is actually an update on my long ass future video essay on Max, I didn't get as much as I'd like finished by now, I've only got 8 minutes out of 70 done 😭 (not to mention Uni assignments) this is a little sneak peek.

the video is mostly semi animated which is why it's taking so long

I haven't given up on the project though and I don't plan to.

Tell me, please, if Carmela were in a Ruler of ToonsTown AU, who would she be?

And speaking of this AU. Who plays Merlin in this AU? Will Oswald and Mickey finally find common ground? How did Mickey find that sword in the stone?

so I think if Carmela was in my toonstown au, I think she'd be oswald's messenger LOL but instead of having the cliche king gets mad at messenger dynamic it would be a more polite and giggly kind of dynamic. plus it would break the stereotype of the messenger (almost) always being a boy (she likes Oswald if you couldn't tell lol). if Oswald didn't like the message, he'd get mad at the message, not her

my au IS a twist on disney's sword in the stone movie so it is different but my first thought was yen sid from fantasia/epic mickey but that's kind of hit or miss since he was kind of already played that mentor-ish kind the roll

my second thought was some kind of toon that will lead Mickey (who isn't max since he already is training him and stuff) so I was thinking maybe actually goofy! it would make some sense, goofy may be goofy but he's also not stupid (I mean, he's a doofus [SAID BY PETE NOT ME] but cmon he has a good heart) and since max is his son, it would make for interesting interactions >:D

as for Mick n Ozzie... oswald's king so he is absolutely flabbergasted that this lowlife mouse is related to him so of course his first feeling is resentment, but I'm sure it would take somewhat of an epic mickey turn where slowly he sees the hero, but since I don't wanna spoil anything, I won't say much more about this ;)

mickey being a commoner, was probably wondering around for water or something only to find water trickling into an abandoned building, stuck in the stone, he hears a noise, only for it to go away, he hears I AGAIN! out of fear, he pulls it out of the stone only for it to glow! realizing what just happened, he runs but home, sword hidden away in his cloak, not knowing what would be of him.

How I want to use Phantom Blot in Stories from Mouseton

Besides the classic image of a criminal mastermind, I want to use the image of Basil Blackspot. In my AU, Basil is a well-known person and, perhaps, he recently arrived/moved to Mouseton. And the meeting with Mickey will happen either because of his fame or because of Basil's specific field of activity.

Maybe Basil will be an editor of a scientific magazine? It would be a cool reference to the comic book series about the reporter Goofy, mixed with the Phantom's knowledge, skills and abilities in scientific fields. Just imagine: a magazine editor by day, and a terror of the criminal world by night!

And it would be interesting to think about the interactions between Mickey and Phantom Blot in this vein.

After i think over a year of not doing traditional i tried it out again since im still in the hospital and it began to get boring My mom even brought me pens and paper

So after 4 days i though why not? And it began being really fun, i made few pages but since hospital WiFi is really slow the inages dont want to process so i'll have to wait till it either gets better or it get home most likely tomorrow
