is it just me or does paintbrush kinda seem to prioritize what they think other people want from them rather than doing what they want? in the first two seasons , that is. i dont really think there are any instances of this in s3?

between their aluminum tree they proclaimed as "perfect" in s1, trying to keep the pizza plain as not to "risk it" and painting steve cobs bcuz they thought mephone would like the painting in s2, and hell, even this new fact we got abt them from brian that they got into art because its what other people expected from them???
