Frankly, I think it's entirely likely that Daniel is about to be killed off. The interactions with both Victoria and Emily strike me as "closure" conversations so that fans feel as if they said goodbye to the character through the resolution of issues. It's basically how I felt when Neal was killed off in Once Upon a Time. Little conversations with the people most relevant to his character so that loose threads aren't left hanging. Really hope I'm wrong, but I can't think of any other funeral that Louise would attend, unless maybe she shows up because Charlotte died.
DEAN IS HOLDING A GUITAR IN THE SHOW. DEAN IS STRUMMING A GUITAR IN THE SHOW. NOT A DRILL. NOT A DRILL.
Omg it's canon

louis: no :)
Okay. I’m fine. I don’t need to participate in the argument about who Jaime was talking about when he said he wanted to die in the arms of the woman he loves. Both sides make valid points.
All I need is his face when he realizes he is looking at Tarth, when he knows Brienne isn’t even there.

Really it's the same thing that started Emily's path of revenge. Her father asked her to forgive and she couldn't. Margaux is now to Emily what Emily was to Victoria.
But now that Malcom has been killed, why couldn’t everyone clear Daniel’s name? They could spin it so that Kate went after Emily because she’s David’s “grandson’s” godmother and she has lots of money, or something. I am sure they could have cleared Daniel’s name and protected Emily’s identity if they tried. Margaux’s “revenge” is unwarranted and does not honor Daniel. Daniel died to protect her. He chose her over his mother. He wouldn’t want Margaux to hurt Emily.
