She gives us a look at the casting process and what it was like bringing Tatty Spaatz to life on the screen. We're also diving into her portrayal of ATA Pilot Ann Douglass and how portraying two real life women from the war impacted her. Olive Lewis, an actress who has recently moved home to East Anglia from London to take care of her ailing grandmother Pearl, isn't exactly sure what to make of things when she finds herself winded on the hardstand of Thorpe Abbotts in 1943. Dropping in - literally - from 2021, she doesn't expect to find true happiness, a family and a certain sweet bombardier to catch her eye.
