I think one of the reasons Sam and Dean's relationship is so messed up is that Dean sees himself as Sam's father in a way, but Sam only sees him as a brother. Like, Dean could not function without his brother/son, which is something very parental, while Sam is canonically able to live on. he's a pathetic lil cat, but live he does.

Dean's life has been dedicated to keeping Sam safe, no matter what, and I think because of that he struggles to see Sam as an equal. he's his son. he would die for him. has.

Sam, on the other hand, just wants to be Dean's equal. he wants to be treated as a Grown Man, who makes his own decisions. (the whole Gadreel thing was seriously messed up, but I can see it from both sides.)

I will never never never never never never never never never EVER forgive the writers for making Dean leave Sam’s body in the cave in 13.21. Not ever.

Dean would have died himself before he left his baby brother’s body to be picked apart by vampires. Like it’s not about accepting that Sam is dead, it’s about the fact that they made Dean leave Sam’s corpse to be defiled and eaten by the monsters that they hunt, and I just cannot for the life of me accept that. That felt so out of character I was about to pull my damn hair out.

It’s bad enough we had to watch him leave Sam’s body behind in Red Meat—now it happens again? Now Sam has to wake up again, bloody and scared and confused and all alone??? And Dean isn’t there to comfort him!?!

What if I hurled myself into the sun? Explain yourselves!!

The fact that so many people in this fandom are conviced (and outright obsessed with) the fact that Dean wants to r@pe his little brother is so fucking weird to me??? Like why would you want that to happen? And why is this fandom so obsessed with incest? Am I seriously the only person on here who thinks that’s creepy asf?!
