yeah so i feel u on that, except i feel like it's a general lack of awareness for me. one of my very good friends now, was in my class for 3 years. i did not notice him for all 3 years! funnily enough we only started talking online AFTER we stopped being in the same class 😭

come to think of it i made more than half of my friends via online chatting first despite seeing them every day in person...
