just let him win okay
I turn into a teenage goo goo muck.
Honestly, I'm actually glad there won't be romance in season 2. I want the series full and undivided attention on setting up the dynamic between outcasts and the world around them.
I want them to dive in deeper into the Hypocrisy of only teaching "the good outcasts", and how/if they are willing to sacrifice their own to save themselves from racism and bigotry.
I want to see the consequences of everyone's actions take a front seat next season. From parental backlash after the Laurel incident, to the fact that there's an entire race of outcasts who were basically born to be enslaved. Heck, I want to see consequences for Wednesday being healed by a ghost, that must've messed up her biology somehow, right?
1. Maybe I'm too much of a slow-burn/angst fan, but that sounds ideal to me. I want them to take time rebuilding their relationship.
2. The Xavier thing is not gonna happen most likely. Netflix pretty much confirmed he was fired, and won't be returning for season 2.
3. I would not be surprised if that were the case. Especially with how much Tim Burton loves Gothic romance.
So sorry for the rambling lol
I've seen people freaking out about there being no romance in season 2, but consider this:
1. It took a lot for Wednesday to trust Tyler, and it will take way more for her to trust him again now, probably another whole season or more.
2. Some people have been pushing a love triangle with them and Xavier, so a romance plot would mean she runs into Xavier’s arms, and most of us don't want that.
3. Misdirection is a huge thing in the age of plot twists and spoilers. Jenna has said "no romance" so many times now that it's getting suspicious. The two points above are most likely true, but there is always the possibility that there is a romance plot and they're lying to us so we don't see it coming.*
*see: everything that was done to keep Tom Holland from telling us about End Game.
A new semester has begun at Nevermore and two rommates are having their first proper conversation in the quad.
Ajax: What's that for?
Tyler, carrying a metal baseball bat: oh this?
*a grenade hurtles towards the back of Tyler's head as if it were thrown like a baseball*
Tyler, without blinking: *hits it right back over the wall*
Wednesday's brother likes me.
the horrors may be beyond my comprehension but they are not beyond my insatiable lust. come here and kiss me you terrifying abomination.
If Tumblr could please pay attention to the tags I have Blacklisted, that'd be great 👍
Bruh, I do not like the wolf girl ship. Why are you recommending the wolf girl ship?
So for those who don’t know I started a @stickfigureschallenge (please check the pinned post for details!)... I made these beforehand and literally had so much fun with it, which made me want to create the challenge lol
Anyway I hope you enjoy these Wyler stick figures!!
Almost forgot this little gem:
Managing to catch the eye of a bad bitch & golden retriever in the same day? Absolute Bi culture 😔🤌
I would like to have a thousand words with the WEDNESDAY writers

“Wednesday Addams would hate romance” No she wouldn’t.
She enjoyed the date with tyler. She would have kissed him had the sherif not barged in. She actively sought him out afterwards just to confess her feelings and to kiss him.
Not to mention wednesday and joel in Addams family 2.
She is a strong independent woman, yes. But that does not mean she is opposed to romantic affiliation. However, this doesn’t mean that she is actively seeking romance, or prioritizing it. It’s more of a “if it happens, it happens” type thing. She’s likely demiromantic if anything. She prioritizes herself and her goals over any romantic relationship but she’s not opposed to having it. I rest my case.
"Romance and Horror cannot coexist"
Ma'am, this is the Addams Family you're talking about. Please read the source material 😭🙏
