"teens are prone to tantrums and are emotionally unstable" - okay, yeah, puberty is real, and emotional regulation is a difficult skill to learn. but also. any adult person would be pissed if their opinions were disregarded, they had no say in what happens to them, their emotions and feelings were downplayed and their privacy were intruded on.
there was a great study a few years that went into the whole "ppl online are bigger jerks than irl cuz theres a virtual wall and no repercussions" and the researchers were expecting to see that be the case but it turns out that people who were really angry or argumentative online were also found to just be assholes in person and people who were pretty patient and nice online were found to be patient and nice in real person as well
and it just debunked that whole cynical idea that people will naturally be mean if theres no punishment for it
having depression makes your friends seem like the coolest most put together people on earth like wow... you got out of bed, had breakfast, went to work, AND spent some time on a hobby when you got home....? that's so impressive you're like superman or something. can i borrow your power.
and the lord sayest unto me, "lock the fuck in"
“I LOVE that game!” (watched a letsplay and commentary about it)

Jesse pinkman is trans elaborated on in a series of headcanons:
-He figured out he was when he was in early high school specifically, this is also where he started burning out and dropping in grades after he came out about it
-This is also what first got him into drugs, though it was just weed and alcohol at first to get a breather from being a pre-T trans guy in the early 2000’s, eventually it started to spiral into harder stuff through has he slipped further and further
-his parents weren’t overtly abusive, but they took his transition pretty shittily, they’d regularly try to tell him to “snap out of it” and would try to live in denial that he was even trans to begin with for the longest time only to try and ignore him when he wouldn’t “grow out of this silly tomboy phase”
-he got surgery from his drug money which is also why he was able to get keyhole too
-same goes for his hrt but before he could afford it, he got it early from some of his buddies he’d smoke with having extra on them
-he’s get into pretty intense arguments with his mom especially too in his high school years, as she wanted to help in her own(misguided) way but would only push him further and further away unintentionally
-he had the Trans Guy pixie cut as his first short hair but saw he didn’t pass so he got into the habit of just shaving it when it would get too long and letting it grow back out (also why it’s always so spiky and short)
-his deadname was the same at his current name just spelled “Jessie” , he used to think about getting a completely different name/legal name change but never really got around to it (until El Camino )
-he’s post-op when you first see him in Breaking Bad but he wears all his layers as a force of habit
-we all know this by know but his closer friends all knew he was trans (badger and skinny Pete kiss each other when the camera is turned I can’t prove it but I swear) but didn’t know him pre-transition as he cut off most people he knew then
-he’d run away to his aunts sometimes after getting into fights with his mom, his aunt was much more progressive and more of a hippie in her younger years, so she’d support him and they’d grow closer to each other, with him eventually living fully at her house by graduation, until the cancer took her as we see in the show
-when he was kidnapped Todd would occasionally offer to let him shower but he’d refuse because he didn’t want to out himself to them, he’d also hate anyone getting close to him or touching him because of it (also because Todd is evil but it’s another reason)

When I was younger and researching the autism diagnosis criteria and symptoms, I thought “oh I couldn’t POSSIBLY be autistic.” Because when I read “takes everything literally” I thought it literally meant EVERYTHING and I was like “I don’t take EVERYTHING literally, just most things!” And I just realized the other day that it didn’t actually mean EVERYTHING and that was an overstatement.
