He also gets very jealous, literally nobody is allowed to interact with you for longer than five minutes

If he feels like it's not a big deal, he will not act out his jealousy, but if it's something big like someone is flirting with you or something like that, he'll definitely throw hands

And damn his gaze is so intense like they better run

Definitely gives you his hoodies, doesn't care if you don't bring it back, he loves seeing you in his clothes

He also won't allow you to eat less than three meals a day, he'll annoy you and even shove food in your mouth, he doesn't care about how high the standards you created for yourself are, he'll always be giving you food

Anyways, he's always willing to help you, low key likes it when you act weak around him because he has this weird 'saviour' complex lol

He acts like he's stable and hides his issues from you but you see through him so you can tell when he's not feeling well

You two definitely understand each other better than anyone

He's also the type to notice details and analyze everything

Because he just wants to make sure that he's a good boyfriend

The rain fell in thick sheet and drowning the city in silver. It wasn’t the kind of romantic drizzle that made the streets glisten prettily—it was the kind that ruined plans, soaked through clothes, and left you shivering in disappointment.

You stood beneath the café’s awning, arms wrapped tightly around yourself, watching pedestrians hurry by with umbrellas that did little to shield them from the storm. The dinner reservation you’d carefully made? Canceled. The quiet stroll through the park, hand in hand with Ricky under the city lights? Impossible. The night you’d imagined, the one you dolled up for, the one you'd been so excited for, was completely washed away.

Ricky stood beside you, hands tucked into the pockets of his jacket, watching you more than the rain. He wasn't hiding it at all, he was observant and definitely doesn't mind if you know about it. When he lets out a soft chuckle, you turn to him, frowning.

"What’s so funny?" you asked, slight frustration leaking into your voice. The sound of the rain hitting the ground is definitely messing with your head, making you a little agitated along with the ruined plans you had for the day. So to see him not being bothered at all is a bother.

"You," he said simply, lips curving into that effortless, teasing smile. "You’re pouting."

You let out a sigh, dropping your gaze to your damp shoes. There is no way you can even mask your disappointment. "I just… I wanted tonight to be perfect."

Ricky exhaled, and before you could react, he grabbed your hand and stepped into the rain.

"Ricky—!"

The cold drops hit your skin instantly, sinking through your shirt, and seeping into your jeans, but Ricky only grinned, his fingers laced with yours as he pulled you forward. "Come on," he coaxed, spinning you suddenly.

A surprised laugh bubbled up from your chest as he twirled you right there in the middle of the sidewalk, the rain pouring down like a thousand tiny stars. His grip was steady, his movements smooth, and the way he looked at you, the rain couldn't blur his eyes at all. His eyes gazed into you like you were something irreplaceable, and it did make your heart stutter.

"Are you crazy?" you laughed breathlessly, water dripping from your lashes.

"Maybe," he admitted, regarded you with an adoring gaze as he pulled you close. His hands rested lightly on your waist, his thumb brushing against the damp fabric of your shirt. "But you’re always thinking too much. So I figured I'd help you stop."

Your heart pounded, accelerating behind your ribs, not from the rain or the cold, but from the way his eyes softened, his gaze tracing the curve of your face, moving up to your eyes, as a silent confession. Like his gaze was enough to communicate his feelings for you.

"You were worried about making tonight special," he murmured as he invaded your personal space enough for your noses to almost touch, his voice intimate, low for you only to hear him. "But don’t you get it? It already is. Because you’re here with me."

Something warm bloomed in your chest, spreading through your veins despite the chill. Ricky had always been like this—effortlessly charming. Sometimes you wonder how someone can be so thoughtful, finding beauty in moments you thought were ruined.

The city blurred around you, car headlights turning into smudges of gold against the rain-washed streets. The world could have disappeared, and you wouldn’t have noticed, not when he was looking at you like that. Nothing can even take your attention anymore. It's like he has numbed everything else for you so you can only focus on him.

Slowly, he leaned in slightly more, his forehead resting against yours, rainwater sliding down his cheek. His breath was warm, mingling with yours, his lips close enough to steal all the air from your lungs. "You’re shivering," he murmured, voice barely above a whisper. "Let’s get you somewhere warm before I get too distracted."

Your mood has certainly improved a lot. A smile tugged at your lips. "Too distracted by what?"

He smirked, squeezing your hand as he pulled you toward the glow of a nearby shop. "You already know the answer to that." He was definitely teasing you, you thought you might receive a kiss, but is he looking forward to making it more special? You shouldn't get disappointed so easily with him, that's what you know. 

Your thoughts were pushed aside when he pulled you closer after noticing you were walking slower than him. “I just don't want you to get sick because of me, pretty.” You could only breathe slower, your heart has slowed down a little as you felt better. Well, maybe Ricky was a little too thoughtful for his own good. But hey, at least the ruined date became something else entirely, something you’d remember forever.
